The store was quiet, and the only sound was DaeSung's humming. He organized the papers on the counter for the millionth time.

"Aish, I can't do this anymore," he said, slapping his hands on the glass counter. "I'm so bored~~ Where's hyung~???" he nagged, laying his head on the glass.

A chuckle came from behind, and he quickly lifted his head . He turned around to find his boss -the owner of the store- reaching the bottom of the stairs. He was shaking his head sideways while clicking his tongue, and DaeSung bowed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to complain.... It's just that.... It's so boring, you know," DaeSung apologized. His boss laughed once again.

"It's fine, I'm not going to punish you, relax," he said. Although he was smiling, DaeSung knew that there was a reason for this man, Yoon SeoNam to emerge out of his office. 

Yoon SeoNam was a kind man, very welcoming. He hired SeungHyun and DaeSung even though they only graduated high school. They thought of him as their second father, for he was about the age of their real parents. Whether he has an actual family, nobody knew. In a sense, he was a mystery. He always had a reason for doing something, and he would always keep calm whatever the situation. 

"I just wanted to know where SeungHyun has been the couple of days. He left early and he's missing work today," Mr. Yoon explained. DaeSung nodded in agreement. "I thought maybe he told you something."

DaeSung only shrugged. "All he told me was about his girlfriend and how she was having troubles," he informed, crossing his arms to think. 

"His girlfriend? You mean the young lady who sometimes visits the store?" Mr. Yoon asked, leaning in towards DaeSung. The latter nodded, taking a step back from the sudden approach.

"Yes, SoRa noona," DaeSung confirmed. "The pretty one with soft, long hair. She usually goes to the piano."

"What about her?" Mr. Yoon demanded. "What problems is she having?" 

"She um..... well.... turned deaf....." DaeSung's voice sank as he spoke. Mr. Yoon's expression also fell, his narrow eyes piercing DaeSung.

"She's...... deaf....?" he asked, and DaeSung nodded. "And..... what did you say her name was?"
