The necro silently watched his roommates as they sat around the common area of their dorm room. He had no idea why they wanted him as a roommate and that bothered him. Was this a trick? Some kind of game? No one wanted to room with him, the kid who talked to the dead.

“Sehun,” Kai called, “what did you get for question six?”

“Seventy five,” Sehun replied, glancing down at his math homework.

“You’re wrong,” his latest ghost said, appearing beside him, “the answer should be seventy eight.”

“How do you know?” Sehun asked, turning to face the ghost and completely forgetting about his roommates who were looking at him curiously.

“You forgot to carry the three,” the ghost explained, pointing to the numbers written on the paper, “you were distracted.”

“oh,” Sehun quickly fixed his mistake before looking up at his roommates.

“Ghost?” Tao asked, looking around as if he expected to see the ghost or something.

“Yes,” Sehun nodded, silently wondering how long before one of them got scared or pissed or something and asked him to leave.

“Cool,” Kai grinned, “and they know math? Maybe they can help us ‘cuz I’m totally stuck.”

Sehun watched, more than a little surprised with how easily the three accepted the ghost being around.

“Sehun,” Tao grinned, “can you ask your ghost about question twenty three? I’m stuck.” Sehun nodded, a small smile starting to form.
