Sehun’s life was composed of two things—beers and sleepless nights. He’d lock himself up in his room with an amount of six bottles of beer in his room, chug on it as he holds up a picture of him and Haerin, framed. He wasn’t exactly eating properly too and not getting enough rest. Some nights, his hyungs would hear this loud thud and breaking objects coming from his room and they’d find him crying, weeping on the floor with broken bottles of beer. There wasn’t a night he didn’t cry for Haerin. He misses her. He misses her so bad. All he wanted was to hug her again, kiss her again, and just have her again but no. She’s gone and she’s not coming back. And that’s what Sehun can’t accept.

Chugging on his nth bottle of beer, Sehun leaned on his bed as he sat on his carpeted floor. He had three more empty bottles beside him as he looked at one corner of the room. The bags under his swollen eyes, his pale lips and his red nose, Sehun is a mess. He had a plain white shirt on and a pair of jeans and if anyone from campus saw him now, they wouldn’t think that he’s a kingka.

He took the picture frame beside him and looked at it, immediately newfound tears pooled in his eyes. It has become a routine to cry whenever he sees their pictures together. He cries because they looked so happy then, just two people madly in love with each other but now there’s nothing left of that happy couple anymore. Looking back when they were just starting as a couple, Sehun knew that it would devastate him if they broke up. He loves her so much even then. And he still loves her so much even now.

Sehun couldn’t help but think back of that day he first met her, the way his world just went on a complete slow motion as she turned to him and smiled. She held out a hand and introduced herself. He was completely dazed. She wasn’t the prettiest girl on earth but in his eyes, she was completely beautiful. Sehun couldn’t help but think back of that day he confessed to her. It was the best day of his life…

Sehun saw Haerin run towards Starbucks with an umbrella over her head. It was the day he decided to confess his feelings. It’s been quite some time now since they’ve been acting like a couple and other than for the sake of formality, Sehun wants to make sure she knows about how he feels. Even when he knew Haerin felt just about the same, he was still a bit scared that maybe it’s just him, maybe he’s just assuming things and whatnot.

He called her this morning and asked her to stop by at Starbucks, telling her that it was urgent and that he needed help about something. Knowing Haerin, he knew she’d go. She was quite concern of his studies too, in fact Haerin was one of the few people who gave him a push to try harder.

“Sorry! Am I late? How long did you wait?” She exclaimed as soon as she got into the café. Oddly, there were no one around but them, so she could care less if she was talking a bit too loudly than usual. Sehun just smiled at her and shook his head. She found it a bit weird and sensed that there was something different. She looked around and noticed that no one was there. Starbucks was never empty. At least not the one near their campus and besides, it’s a weekday. Students were supposed to be there, killing time like they usually do.

Haerin started to walk forward, “So-” but she was cut off when Xiumin appeared in front of her, holding a white rose in one hand. Soon, a light plucking from the guitar was heard.

“Hi Haerin,” Xiumin politely greeted and then reached for her arms, giving her the rose and danced with her. She had a puzzled face on but the older guy just kept smiling nicely at her.

And then someone started singing, “The strands in your eyes, that color them wonderful, stop me and steal my breath,” it was Kyungsoo singing along to the guitar strumming in the background but he was out of sight yet. The song was Haerin’s favorite.

After Xiumin, Luhan appeared next and like the older guy, he was holding a white rose too. Luhan gave her the white rose and slow danced with her too. After a few twirls, Haerin chuckled and was surprised that when she turned back, Kris was standing in front of her. He had the same cold expression on his face but he had a rose too. Kris gave it to her and danced with her, swaying them both side to side.

“Do not look at me like that. Slow dance is not my style.” Kris lowly muttered avoiding the mocking look that the girl was giving him, “I was forced to do this okay. That evil kid hid all my moisturizers. If I don’t do this then no face cream for me.” He explained and she just ended up laughing at him. She wasn’t even asking for any explanations.

Kyungsoo continued to sing in the background. Soon Suho tapped Kris’ back and took the tall guy’s place. Suho had the most pleasant smile and offered the white rose. He danced with Haerin too and she couldn’t help but chuckle at the guy.

“Haerin, this must be sudden for you but the ending is the best part.” He smiled at her.

Once the chorus started playing, Suho left Haerin in the care of Lay who gave her a rose too. She accepted it and danced with Lay. It seems like they were all part of the plan. He was smiling goofily at Haerin and she just ended up laughing at the faces he’s making.

After his turn, Baekhyun appeared, singing the same lines that Kyungsoo was singing in the background, he happily gave the rose to Haerin and danced with her too while singing along. She can never deny his good voice. Baekhyun was one of the guys who were blessed with beautiful voices.

“Please know that Sehun held us captive the other day and hid my expensive boxers just so I can agree to this. Please, tell him to give it back,” Baekhyun said through his smile and Haerin just shook her head and laughed at the beagle.

After the beagle’s turn, another beagle appeared, it was Chen. He smiled brightly at her and gave her the rose too. Chen danced with her and even stepped at her foot twice. He apologized, flushing as Haerin laughed it off. Cutting his turn now, Chanyeol appeared. He had the rose between his lips as he had a guitar strapped to his body. He was the one playing the guitar in the background all along. Haerin took the rose from his lips and because he was playing the guitar, Chanyeol just swayed side to side in front of her with a pleasant smile on his face.

After the last beagle’s turn, the singer, Kyungsoo, appeared in front of Haerin. He offered the rose as he sang to the words of the song. Kyungsoo danced with her too, moving side to side as he sang. Next to him was Tao, who had that proud smile on his face. He was grinning at her in fact. Tao offered the rose and danced with her.

“I was really excited to do this!” Tao almost exclaimed, giggling but the girl just chuckled at his reaction, “If you like what’s going on, you should be informed that I planned half of it.” He proudly told her.

Not too long now, Jongin cut them off, stepping at Tao’s place almost too soon and he plastered a big smile on his face. Jongin offered the rose and he danced with her slowly.
