Maybe they shouldn't have killed them, and yet there their burning bodies lay in the sand. Their blood still stains their hands, still liquid, still wet. It transfers to their bare chests, as they start to touch. One to another. Their lips touch, burning them more than the fire.
Their blood stained hands transfer to their necks and cheeks. The red substance stains them, marks them, taints them. It stays, as they grip hair and skin. Their lips move faster, closer, deeper.
Their friends burn. Logs piled on them to help. Maybe the could have been useful to the two. Maybe they could have thought of a way off the small island. Yet they didn't approve, they wanted them to stop. Maybe the four shouldn't have gotten in the way.
The two still stand, close and bloody. Lips still clashing, growing more and more heated with the burning bodies' flame. The sun sinks down, leaving the pair whose dyed red and orange hair matches the flames.
