It was now 11AM and Min thought it'd be an appropriate time to talk to Chansung and invite to brunch.

She'd spent some extra time on herself trying to look cute for him. She was wearing a cute fluffy sweater and leggings and had styled her hair and makeup in a cute fashion.

"Okay Min. You can do this! You just have to tell him how you feel! Okay!" Min pep-talked herself before leaving to go to 2PM's dorm.

A few minutes later at the 2PM dorm...

*knock knock knock*

"Yah Chansung! Go get the door, you're the maknae." Junsu said.

All the other 2PM members were lounging on the couches.

"Okay hyung." Chansung said as he went to open the door.

When he did his eyes widened in shock for a second before returning to normal.

"Min..."

At the mention of her name, all the members turned away from what they were doing to acknowlege the girl in the doorway.

"Oh come in." Chansung began.

"Actually, I was wondering if you'd like to go have brunch with me" Min replied.

"Oh yeah sure. Just let me put my shoes on and grab my sunglasses." Chansung said quickly.

"Sure no problem. I'll just wait here." Min said with a smile.

As Chansung got ready he felt very conflicted but his mind had settled on what to say to Min since the early morning.

Once he was ready he closed the door to the apartment and said to Min, "Okay let's go."

After finally traveling for a couple of minutes, Min and Chansung had arrived a local cafe that a lot of the JYP artists hung out at while they were on the down-low.

The pair had just ordered drinks when they both said, "Hey... I have to tell you something."

Both were startled and tried to let the other speak first. Finally Min decided to just go ahead.

"Oppa... I thought about what you asked me yesterday and-" Min slowly started before being cut off.

"And here is your hot chocolate with marshmallows and your coffee." The waiter came cutting off Min.

"Thanks." They both replied.

"Anyways, as I was saying-" Min started again before Chansung cut her off.

"Look Min. I know about the promise." He said. Min looked startled which Chansung misconstrued as shock that she knew what he was going to say.

He continued, "And I can't help but feel like I wasted my time if you could never have been with me."

"But, that's the thing! What I wanted to tell you wa-" Min cut in.

"...So that's why. I've decided it would be best if we just forgot that I ever confessed and we just remain friends. Okay?"

And with that Min was frozen. Both could feel the pain in their hearts from what had just conspired.

"O-okay... if that's what you want." Min replied solemnly.

The pair just remained silent as they continued with the rest of their brunch. 

In the silence the pair had time to ponder everything that had just happened.

Min tried to sit in silence trying not cry.

So this is what it feels like to have your heart break. I was about to give you a chance Chansung-ah. Why?

On the flipside, Chansung was also wallowing in sadness.

If only there was a way for us to be together... things would be perfect. If only....
