The next morning arrived and I was still in a daze, rewinding the events of last night’s confession in my mind. I just can’t seem to get over how surreal this is; it’s like waking up in a Jane Austen novel. I turned over to the side facing the French doors, the sun was bright and two birds were playfully hopping around each other on top of the railing of the balcony as they chirped away their morning tune.

I felt goose bumps rising on my arms as my mind wandered to the dream I had last night after falling asleep. I dreamt that I was in a garden, much like the one in Jaejoong’s backyard, the trees and bushes were covered in white lights as the night fell. There were rose petals everywhere and all the sudden an acapella group began to sing. My heart began to race as I walked towards the group and found a tall, handsome figure waiting in the center of the Gazebo where the acapella group was singing. He was dawned in a black tux with a single red rose in hand; a smile was present on his face as he walked towards me and presented me with the rose,

“For you, my lady.”

Before I could get too into the dream, I had the misfortune of waking up. I sat up in bed, I felt so different than I did on other Saturday morning, hell, I was never up on Saturday morning. I always wake up in the afternoon since it’s the weekend!

I suddenly get startled as I felt three soft knocks at my door; I quickly cover myself with my sheets and pretended to be asleep. I don’t know why I did this but I just felt a bit scared, a little terrified, and awfully shy. I wasn’t ready to face Jaejoong yet after last night.  

The door slowly creaked open, “Em?”

The soothing voice of Jaejoong called out to me. When he saw that I didn’t respond I felt light footsteps make their way towards me and then suddenly I felt his presence beside me. Every fiber of my being became actively aware of him besides me.

“You know, in sleeping beauty it takes the kiss of a handsome prince to wake up the princess,” I heard him mumble to himself; “I may not be a prince, but a princess you definitely are. How will this work?”

He paused for a moment, seemingly lost in his thoughts, “Aha!”

I felt him exit the room in a hurry and then coming back, “Work your magic, my little furry companion.”

Before I knew it, I felt small paws on my left shoulder and something moist tickling my face causing me to chuckle. I opened my eyes to see the cutest little grey kitten ever! A wide smile spread across my face as I began to pet him,

“Hi little cutie, where did you come from?” I asked and a little purr escaped his cute little mouth.

“I wish you would speak to me like that,” his voice caught me off guard and I could sense I was blushing.

My eyes landed on his as he walked closer to the bed and sat at the edge playing with the kitten but his eyes were always on me, “Good morning, Sunshine. Did you sleep well?”
