I don’t know where to start.

After the call from Hyungman, I quickly ran over to where the shooting was taking place.  Hyungman was waiting impatiently for me.

“Where were you woman?” He said while tapping is foot on the ground.

“sorry.  Business I had to take care of.” I said nonchalantly.

“Whatever.  Get in the car.  Jiyong’s already inside.”

I got in the front seat of the car and turned back to see where Jiyong was sitting.  He was sitting all the way in the back fiddling with his phone.

“He’s deciding right now.” Hyungman whispered.

I continued to stare at him to see what he would do.  Deep down, of course, I was hoping he would reject her.  But above all, I did want him to be happy.  I was the one that wanted to start things over anyway right?  It was my fault.

I guess I forgot that I was still staring at him because he looked up then.

Jiyong stared at me back and as if I was caught doing something wrong, I broke our stare and just faced the front.
And then I heard the keypad tapping silently away.  Jiyong was making his decision.

I guess it must be hard for him.  Doing things like this.  

Then his phone started to ring.  

She texted him back.

I couldn’t help myself so I peeked to the back to see his reaction to the text message.

He was smiling.

And that’s when my heart sank.
They were a couple now.

And I was alone.

I turned away now, too hurt for anything.

“Myung.  Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah…um…sorry.  I guess I’m just tired or something.” I said.
I closed my eyes to see if I could forget this.  If I could dull the pain a little.

“Myung. We’re here.” Hyungman said as he parked in front of the apartment complex.
I guess I fell asleep.
“Thanks Hyungman.  I’ll see you tomorrow?” I said and hopped out of the car.
Hyungman didn’t respond back but instead smiled slyly.
I raised an eyebrow in curiosity, but he just zoomed past by.
“Weird.” I said under my breath and walked inside to my apartment.
While I was in the elevator, I was giving a mental note to myself.
“Forget about him.  He doesn’t love you.  Get over him.  Get over him.” I repeated.
Finally the elevator reached the 20th floor and I proceeded to go to my apartment.  I punched in my code and walked through the door, took off my chucks and called out for Jenny.

“Jenny!  Let’s go get something good to eat!  Unnie wants to eat something very good-“

And before I could finish my sentence, there in the living room, were those same red roses that I saw a couple of days ago.
EVERYWHERE.

The whole living room was lined with roses, laces, ribbon, candles.  It was heaven.

The room was enveloped with the flowery scent, and left me intoxicated.

What was this?

I was lost and confused.

And then the door behind me clicked open.

I turned around thinking it was Jenny.

“Jenny…what is this-“

It was him.

“Hey.  Amelie.”

There he was in his Armani jacket.  Epic man.  With a huge grin on his face.  The one that made my heart skip a few beats.
I froze not knowing what to do.  And he approached me.
He grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been able to do this from the start, but if you’d allow me I would like to say it now.”

I think I might just pass out.

“Maybe you think I deserve someone better.  Maybe it was Sujung.  I don’t know.  I don’t care.  Right when I saw you from the airport, I couldn’t help but to gravitate towards you.  When you sang, I fell.  When you smiled, I laughed.  When you cried, it pained me more than anything.”

What is happening right now?

I am lost.

“I was so happy around you.  You made me feel alive.  And you liked me for me. Not because of my fame.  Not because of my name.”
I think I might start hyperventilating again.
“And when we had our separate time, I realized that…”
What?
“That I am madly in love with you.”

….
“Always will be.”

I didn’t know what to say.
But it didn’t matter.
Tears were flowing.  The rock that I was trying so hard to swallow finally got crushed and the burden was free.

 I felt alive.
 I felt light.  
I felt love.

I looked at him, tears flowing out freely.  Laughing.  Crying.  Being hysteric. While he wiped my tears and started to laugh too.

This was how it was supposed to be in the start.

This was how it was supposed to end.

He cupped my chin and pulled me towards him.
And he kissed me.
Just like that one day.
Only now it was better.
Because now I knew.
Now I knew that he loved me and I loved him.
We weren’t going to leave each other.  We couldn’t forget each other.  We knew we couldn’t.  We’ve tried.  And failed.
And here we were confessing our love for each other.

And I was here dazed and confused.

In complete bliss.

He broke out of the kiss gently, planting sweet kisses here on there as if he was bandaging my wounds with his sweet lips.
I couldn’t help but to smile and hold onto him forever.
“So…” He said breaking this impeccable silence.
I looked up at him to see that he was grinning his michievious grin.
“What?” I asked knowing that nothing would make me happier than this moment right now.

“Can we have a REAL relationship now?  Stop beating around the bush?  And make it drama-free?” He said looking down at me still holding me tight.
I laughed.  I smiled.  God.  He makes me fall in love with him every second.

“Yes.” I said with a hugh smile.

And with that he kissed me again.

To seal our bond.
