"Happy Anniv-" The.half banner lay torned at my feet. I ripped the rest of the banner from my front door and crumpled in into small balls and flung them away. Sinking down into my feet, my tears rolled down my cheeks, my shoulders were heaving with my breath, my saliva choked up my throat.

"They died in a car accident. While coming back."

"Coming back... coming back... back..."

The words of the doctor rung through my head.

I let out a horrendous wail and leaned against my door. 
Stupid idiotic retarded me. 
It was all because of my joke. 
It can't be real.
It must all be a dream.

My heart just basically shattered into a million pieces that cannot be retrieved.

No- my parents dead. Cause of me. I refuse to believe it. 
I went to the window and screamed my lungs out till they were sore.

"Tone it down!" A shout came from upstairs. I put my hand out of the window and raised my middle finger.
"My parents are f*'king dead. And you expect me to remain calm?!" I howled through the window.

Silence followed then.

The door burst opened, and Lily, my neighbour, burst in. "Yoon Mi ah!! I just... I just heard the news. Baby. Shh shh, IT'S okay. Calm down..." Lily my head that was sobbing violently on her chest. "Shh... " she continued and my hysterical sobs soon tuned down.
"Stay here, I'LL go get some water alright?" She firmly gripped my shoulders and instructed me. 
Feeling too tired to even more or speak, I gave her the smallest of my nods. 

Then, Lily went to my kitchen. I could head the tap water gushing down.

I took this peaceful moment to assess the situation after I calmed down.

Doctor Aw had said 2 things. 
1) "They died in a car accident while coming back"

2) "You're moving to Korea with your Mom's step-sister "
