Her POV

I honestly really wish that I could see my sister comes to pick me up and escape from this suffocating situation. You might think this is awesome that 5 boys from B team gather around you, but no. This is something that I’d gladly avoid.

“You can’t speak Korean?... Then umm, hanbin, this guy asked you, ‘What’s your name?’ ” Bobby asks me; sure of course he’s the one who asks me. He’s from the states anyway which translated as the one who speaks English the best among them

“You spoke in Korean just a minute ago” Joonhwe frowns at me. I glare at him. This kid!!!

I click my tongue, “It’s not like I can’t..” It’s more like I don’t want to, my inner-self hisses.

“I can speak Korean but I’m just not really good on it. I’m still learning” I explain in Korean. Sigh

They nod, “you are really good actually” Bobby beams and give me that smile which makes his eyes disappear. I awkwardly smile at him and fix my shades.

“So, what’s your name? What brings you here? Oh, I’m Bobby anyway” He says again.

“….uhm…” I peek a glance at Jinhwan. Please don’t hear me say…

“My name is Ody”

Jinhwan swiftly looks up and I immediately turn my head to another way; try to avoid him.

“…Ody?” Jinhwan opens his mouth

“What’s wrong, hyung? Do you know her?” Bobby confused

“Ody.. Takahashi?” Jinhwan keeps staring at me

Oh, My Lord.

I’m dead

“AH! It’s almost 12! I think my sister is already here to pick me up. So, I guess.. I’ll take my leave now..? It’s nice to meet you guys” I pretend to be in hurry and scratch my neck. I bow at them then leave.

“hold on, wait!” Jinhwan stands up from his seat.

Panic attack.

The others look at him in confusion.

I just ignore him and keep walking towards the door, there I see my sister out of the coffee shop, walking and tossing her head around, looking for me.

“Nee-chan!” I call her but immediately cover my mouth. Poop, I slipped out Japanese word

I hope there’s a black hole in here right now.

My sister looks at my direction and her face lights up.

“Ody!” I hear my name is being called by my sister and.. Jinhwan

She comes closer to me and gives me a hug. At the same time, I hear another footsteps and I can easily guess whose it is…

My sister pulls off from the hug and as if the world spins slower, she sees Jinhwan who stands close to us.

“Omo, Jinnie? Is that really you? Hold on, you guys met each other already?” Nee-chan asks him

“annyeong haseyo” Jinhwan bows

I grab nee-chan’s jacket sleeve, as if preventing her to come closer to Jinhwan. I have no guts to look at Jinhwan. I keep my back facing him.

“I guess, she’s still mad at me, huh?” Jinhwan awkwardly asks nee-chan.

Nee-chan changes her vision to me. She looks down to see me who am clinging on her sleeve. Lucky that I’m wearing shades, or else, she would see my watery eyes.

But I’m pretty sure she knows what I hide.

“anniyo, it’s okay” she smiles to Jinhwan.

Jinhwan smiles back, in guilt.

“ahem –cough- I think we need some explanation here…” hanbin pops out.

So here we are, all sit together on one big table with 8 chairs in the coffee shop. The very same coffee shop.

The boys introduce themselves.

“annyeong haseyo, Kim hanbin imnida” hanbin slightly bows.

“I am Bobby” he beams, showing his bunny teeth. I can’t help but smile back at him.

“My name is Song Yoonhyeong” the most handsome one introduces himself. He looks like my friend from Thailand. Is he mix? I wonder.

“I’m Goo Joonhwe” he bows.

“I’m Kim Jinhwan” he says. My ears perk to his raspy voice.

Nee-chan smiles widely when Jinhwan introduces himself. Well, it’s not like we don’t know him.. And Jinhwan.. of course, that face. Those eyes of him when he looks at my sister. Nothing changed.

Sigh.

“annyeong yeorobun. My name is Takahashi Yuki. This is my little sister, Ody. We were Jinhwan’s host family when he was an exchange student to Japan.” nee-chan starts explaining.

“hoaa that’s cool! You never told us about this, hyung! No wonder your Japanese is pretty good!” Yoonhyeong nudges Jinhwan who just smiles.

Nee-chan laughs, “ahaha yeah, we call him Jinnie though”

The boys laugh.

“It’s been a long time since the last time we saw him. We know that you guys were in a WIN show last year. We were so excited for the show because Jinnie was in the team. Kaa-san missed you so much, Jinnie. This is such an unexpected reunion” nee-chan says

Jinhwan smiles and bows.

“kaa-san?” Bobby asks.

“oh, it means mom in Japanese” Jinhwan explains.

“We are glad to know that you watched the show. Please keep supporting us” hanbin bows. He’s full of respect.

“Of course!” nee-chan claps her hands. “Are you guys still in training?”

“Yes, we are. We don’t know when will we debut though but we will keep doing our best” hanbin answers.

“Great. But don’t you guys have another one person in the group..? It supposed to be 6, right? Where is the other one?” nee-chan asks

“oh, Donghyuk? He’s in the dorm. He wasn’t feeling well today, that’s why I’m the only one who’s in the airport to pick hyungs. Or I supposed to..” Joonhwe answers.

“Supposed to..? What happened?” nee-chan confused

“There was a commotion earlier, well.. you know fanigirls could be so crazy sometimes, right?” nee-chan laughs when Joonhwe said that

“So yeah, I was chased by fangirls, luckily Ody-sshi was there and she helped me. I’m really thankful. And it happened that Jinhwan-hyung recognized her”

“hoaa is that so? You helped him? That’s so nice of you!” nee-chan lingers her arm on my shoulders.

I frown, “What?” I didn’t pay attention to what they were talking about. I was busy with my own thought and just kept staring outside the coffee shop, watching people passing by.

Nee-chan laughs, “Ody-chan, c’mon join us. Jinnie is here too, don’t you miss him?” she taps my shoulder.

I sigh

“wae? Hyung do you have any problem with her?” Yoonhyeong points at me while talking to Jinhwan. Wow, he’s blunt.

“Anniyo, it’s not like that” nee-chan cuts him off.

“Well, when Jinnie was in his exchange, my sister also in her exchange program to the United States. Was it 5 years ago? You were 16, right?” she asks Jinhwan. He nods.

“Right.. Ody was 14 that time when she went to US. When she got back to Japan, Jinnie was already with our family for around 5 months, wasn’t it?”

I show no attention to give any reaction to her.

“Ody is the baby of the family. Suddenly have another sibling was definitely a new thing to her. Especially we are really close, so when Jinnie became a part of our family, she thought he stole me from her. I never had a brother before, so of course i was excited to have him as our family member. But she thought that I didn’t pay enough attention to her because I had him. I guess she still holds a grunge against him because of that” nee-chan chuckles.

Sometimes she needs to learn how to stop talking.

The boys say ‘aaaah’ in unison.

“Ody-chan, c’mon say something.” Nee-chan nudges me.

“…. I’m tired. Can we go now?”
