Her POV

I have no guts to look at Joonhwe. I mean like, it’s so embarrassing! I slept on his shoulder for like a frickin’ two hours! I’m glad at least I didn’t drool on him. He doesn’t seem to mind it, though.

The atmosphere is so awkward here in the kitchen. We sit on the dining table but since nee-chan only has 4 chairs on the table, Donghyuk, Yoonhyeong, Joonhwe and Bobby sit on the stool around the island table. While nee-chan, Hanbin, Jinhwan and me on the dining table.

All quite.

Except the sound of Bobby and Yoonhyeong eating like monsters fills the air.

“so, what have you guys been doing when I wasn’t here?” nee-chan suddenly asks.

“Hanbin was being a pig and ate the snacks in the fridge!” Bobby shouts. Everybody laugh.

Snack? MY SNACK?

"snacks?!" I pout at Hanbin. He looks at me with confusion in his face.

"what?" he asks me.

"Hanbin-sshi, I really hope you left some for me. I mean it." I pout at him

I hear everybody laugh. "Hanbin-nie, my sister has a sweet-tooth, she loves sweets so when she said that, she literally means that she hopes you left some of the sweet snacks for her" nee-chan explains. I squint my eyes to him.

"Ah don't worry, Bobby-hyung ate most of it" he calmly smirks.

"Bobby!!!" I glared at bobby.

He hands up, "I'm pretty sure there are some in the fridge" he grins. He doesn’t even deny it!

 “And you girl, call me oppa” he points at me with his dorky smile. Everybody laughs loudly.

I roll my eyes, I don’t call anybody with oppa.

“I’m gonna call kaa-san to send you some” nee-chan reassures me while tapping her hand on my shoulder.

“Oh anyway, you were really cute sleeping on Joonhwe’s shoulder” nee-chan continues.

“UHUK!” Joonhwe coughs on his food. The boys laugh, “are you okay, dude?” Yoonhyeong hands him a glass of water.

“yes, thanks hyung” he answers after gulping the water.

I laugh, so it does bother him. I thought he was pretty cool about it because he didn’t show it. Well you know, he has this chic aura around him.

“Oh! Noona! I know you don’t feel really well…” Donghyuk starts talking. I look at him in anticipation.

“I feel better though…” I smile to him.

“But I know one place that can make you relax, maybe you can feel even better” he smiles, convincing me

“OH YEAH RIGHT RIGHT !” Yoonhyeong suddenly pumps up. “Donghyuk and I’ve been talking about this idea! But wait, is this your first time in Korea?” now he asks me

“nope. My first one was two years ago. So it’s quite a long time ago” I say

“oh great then! We are pretty sure that you’ve never been to this place before” he nods happily.

Suspicious.

“Yuki-noona, are you busy after this?” Yoonhyeong asks nee-chan.

“No, why?” nee-chan asks him back.

“Do you mind if we all go somewhere?” he smiles widely. This is suspicious.

Nee-chan raises her eyebrows, “sure. Tell me the direction”

I call shot gun, so I get the front seat of nee-chan’s car. Thank god her car is big enough to fit all of us in. The three Kims aka Hanbin, Bobby and Jinhwan on the middle seats while Donghyuk, Yoonhyeong, and Joonhwe on the back seats.

“Hyung, where are we going?” Joonhwe asks Yoonhyeong

 I peek at them a little bit from my seat, I also wonder where we are going..

Yoonhyeong smirks then whisper to Joonhwe. Oh great. It makes me even more curious.

Then I see Joonhwe smirks too.

“Noona, can you do challenge?” now Joonhwe asks me.

I frown, “sure” I quickly say. I see Donghyuk and Yoonhyeong now giggling like crazy. Whaddup with these boys..?

“What are you guys planning there?” my eyes squint to the three boys on the back.

They burst in laughter. Okay, I don’t know what’s so funny here.

“Ody, if you can stay longer than 5 minutes in that place, we will do whatever you want. BUT, if you can’t, buy ice creams for the six of us” Yoonhyeong says while holding his laughter.

The boys say ‘woooo’ of excitement in unison.

Hold on, Donghyuk said that place is a place for relaxing. Why wouldn’t I stay longer than 5 minutes? What in the world..

“nee-chan, do you know where we are going?” I ask my sister

“Absolutely dear” she laughs.

Okay, everybody laughs. What’s so funny about me going to that place?

“Challenge accepted.” I say confidently.

“I’m so ready for ice cream~” Yoonhyeong rhymes.

Huff, you’re so full of yourself, dude. I’ll show you that I can stay longer than 5 minutes in any kind of place

Nee-chan’s car turns right to this building. There’s a big sign on it. I read it.

Jjimjilbang

What does it mean? What place is this?

As we all see the sign, the boys are all excited and cheers loudly. What the ?

No One’s POV

In the Jjimjilbang

19 seconds after everyone comes in…

“LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!”

 Ody screams out loud. Everybody laughs their off. As soon as Ody is getting up to dash out of the room, Joonhwe grabs her hand and makes her sit back right away. They laugh even louder.

“YAH!!! Are you trying to kill me?!!!” Ody yells at Joonhwe. He just casually laughs.

“We’re on bet, remember? It’s not even a minute” he says

“I don’t care!!! I want to get out of here! I need to get out! I HAVE TO GET OUT!” she emphasizes every phrase.

“Noona, you only need to stay here for 5 minutes. Okay? 5 minutes?” Joonhwe says as he’s making ‘5’ with his hand.

Ody groans.

“but this is SO HOT !! Even Japanese onsen* is not as hot as this!” her face is turning really red now.

“Noona, relax~” Donghyuk beams as he closes his eyes in relaxation. The boys and Yuki giggle in amusement.

“Yeah, noona, relax~ It’s only 60 degree Celcius” Joonhwe smirks.

Her eyes widen as she heard Joonhwe.

“SIXTY DEGREE MY !!! YOU PABO!” Ody shouts and throws her towel to Joonhwe. She runs to the door, open it in hurry and slip away.

“we lost her” Hanbin says.

“she lost the bet…” Bobby corrects him.

“I’m pretty sure she doesn’t like being defeated…” Jinhwan awes.

“is she okay..?” the worrywart Donghyuk comes to the surface

Yuki laughs, “She will be fine. This idea is brilliant actually; Ody needs to learn Korean culture”

“But she looked like she’s really mad..” Donghyuk still worried.

“Well.. You guys know we grew up in Japan right?” Yuki asks. The boys nod. “To be exact, we grew up in Hokkaido, which practically a cooler area compared to other area in Japan (in term of temperature). She’s not used to heat. Even when we moved to Tokyo because she’s going to college, she always nags about Tokyo’s summer heat” Yuki chuckles as she remembering the memories.

“is that so..? so this is probably not a good prank for her, huh?” Hanbin frowns.

“Yah, Joonhwe! Why did you tell her it’s 60 degrees? Argh dude..” Bobby shakes his head in disappointment.

“wae hyung? Now you blame me?!” Joonhwe protests.

“aigooo what should we do?” Yoonhyeong being dramatic

“Don’t you at least feel happy, hyung? This is your idea after all, in attempt to get ice cream” Joonhwe blames Yoonhyeong.

“But I’m not the one who makes her mad the most” Yoonhyeong smirks. Yuki laughs looking at these boys being silly and blame each other

“It’s okay, she’ll be fine…” Yuki words cut by Joonhwe.

“I’ll go get her” he gets up and goes outside, leaving the rest with a question mark.

Joonhwe wanders around the Jjimjilbang, tossing his head to find Ody. He can’t find her. He’s getting anxious. But then, he feels someone pokes his back.

“annyeong~” It’s Ody with her smiley face, her hands holding Iced Cappuccino.

Joonhwe releases a sigh of relief.

“Where have you been? I was looking for you” Joonhwe says

“Why?” she asks.

“Because.. I thought you were really mad, I feel bad, so…”

She chuckles, “I was mad. For real. You guys, Koreans are crazy! How could you call that hot room thingy is relaxation? Gosh.. “ She shakes her head in deep confusion.

Joonhwe laughs to her choice of words.

They walk to the table around the snack bar, and then sit on the chair.

“Well actually, this is Yoonhyeong-hyungi’s idea. Because well, you know, we don’t really hang out with friend. Well, I don’t. So we consider you as our friend. Usually friends will share stories or such during the time they are in the sauna room. It’s basically an idea to get to know your friend. Do you understand what I mean?” he explains.

She nods, “but it was so hot!” Joonhwe laughs again.

“I admit defeat this time, I’ll buy you guys ice creams” she says, her eyes smiling too.

Joonhwe smiles when he hears that. He stares at this cute girl in front of her. Scanning every detail about her. Her long chestnut hair tied up in a bun shape. She has a tiny mole on her forehead. Her eyes are rather big for Asian…

“oh! Your eyes... do you wear contacts?” he’s curious.

“anniyo, this is my real eye color” she says while slurping her drink.

“ssincha?” he moves closer to her face, to see the color of her eyes clearly. She’s surprised by the sudden act of Joonhwe.

“ya..yah.. you are too close” she says while backing off.

Joonhwe finally realizes it, “oh, I’m sorry” he flustered.

The atmosphere turns awkward. Ody averts her eyes to the snack bar.

“Should we buy something for them?” Ody asks Joonhwe’s opinion

“Up to you” he says

“I’ll buy it. But I will not come into that room to give it to them” she squints.

Joonhwe laughs, “alright alright, I’ll do it”
