Joonhwe’s POV

“Hyung, the bathroom is empty, you can use it now” I say while drying my hair with towel.

Hanbin-hyung, Bobby-hyung and Jinhwan-hyung are sitting on the couch. They play game on iPad. Yoonhyeong-hyung is doing his homework in his room, even though he’s a trainee he has to do well in his study as well. While Donghyuk is just sitting on the couch to watch TV. I sit beside him to watch TV as well.

“I’m gonna take over the shower now~!”Bobby-hyung shouts out loud.

“Yah! You ran away because you lost the game! That’s not fair!” Hanbin-hyung yells at him.

They’re always like that, being loud and silly over games. That’s basically what they always do. While Jinhwan-hyung just leaves them alone and continues the game by him self.

“Joonhwe-ah…” I hear Jinhwan-hyung calls me.

“Nde?” I turn my head to face him. I’m expecting he might bring up something that related to Ody-noona.

He opens his mouth then closes it, “Nevermind”

He’s always like that.

Then I hear my phone rings, hmm? Text Message?

                From     : Ody-noona

         Message  : YAH!! What are you doing to my phone?! Pabo!

Flashback

Now she sleeps, what am I supposed to do ?

I stare at her room, soft-pink daisy patterned wallpaper, a lot of red stuff ; red photo frames, red night light, red drawer, red clock. Is it her favorite color? Oh yeah right, the first time I met her in the airport, didn’t she have this big red baggage? And red coat? What is she? Red riding hood?

I chuckle.

My eyes stuck on her on the night stand. Carefully, trying not to wake her up, I grab her phone with my free hand.

I take a selca of me, struggle a little bit to edit it. I put my number on the pic and put “call me ;)” on it. I change her wallpaper into that.

I smirk, that was fun. Let’s see how she will react to that.

“Wae? Why are you laughing?” Donghyuk asks and moves closer to me.

“Anniyo” I quickly lock my phone so the screen is all black now.

“Woaaa that’s suspicious! Who is that?” Donghyuk nudges me on my arm.

I just smirk. “Tell me, tell me!” he nags me even more.

“Anniyo” I still refuse to tell him.

He pouts, and then quickly grabs my phone from me. He puts the password to unlock it. I just sigh. It’s useless to take it back since no one can beat Donghyuk when he really wants to know something. Sometimes he can be really naggy. So I just let him do whatever.

“Omo” his eyes widen to see me.

He definitely saw it already.

“When did you take this? How could you have Ody-noona’s sleeping face?” Donghyuk refers to Ody-noona’s pic that I used for her profile in my phone.

“What?!” Jinhwan-hyung surprised.

“Eh? Did I miss something? Whose sleeping face?” Bobby-hyung just came out from the bathroom.

“Anniyoooo” I grab my phone back from Donghyuk.

They stare at me, demanding for further explanation.

I sigh, “She won’t let go of my hand when she fell asleep. So I took a picture of her sleeping face to put as her contact’s profile picture in my phone. I was bored and I couldn’t really do anything” I roughly explain.

“Hoaa I don’t know you are that close to her” Donghyuk awes.

 “Anniyo. C’mon let’s not talking about this” I scratch my neck. I put my attention to the phone again to reply her text.

“Omo, now you’re texting with her?” Donghyuk leans closer to see my phone.

“Yah! Donghyuk-ah, what are you doing?” I nudge him away.

“You never told us anything!”

“Our maknae is a man, after all, huh?”

“tell us about it!”

They make a fuss about it.

Suddenly, Yoonhyeong-hyung comes out from his room, “Did I miss something?” he asks.

We look up at him. I quickly say, “Anni, you did not miss anything”

“Don’t lie!!!” Donghyuk yells. Aish, this kid…!

“Joonhwe-ah” Suddenly I hear Jinhwan-hyung calls me. Crap, I forgot about him, and his relation to Ody-noona.

“Yes?” I turn my head to see him.

“Sit here” he taps the empty space beside him.

I walk a bit closer to him.

“I don’t know what happened between you and her…” Jinhwan-hyung starts talking.

“Her? Who?” Yoonhyeong-hyung comes closer. I feel like I just want to kick him away.

“I mean, it’s about Joonhwe and Ody, right?” Jinhwan-hyung continues. I palm my face.

“Ah? Are we finally talking about them?” Yoonhyeong-hyung cheerfully asks.

I frown, “What? Finally? What did you mean, hyung?”

“Well, you changed. You volunteered to take care of her. Also that time,when we were at Yuki-noona’s house, we were so busy in the kitchen yet you naturally left your work because you heard her calling you. We can clearly see it, dongsaeng” He nonchalantly explains.

My face feels hot.

“Joonhwe-ah, I just want to tell you that you are doing your best in practice now. We are all doing our best in practice. I just don’t want you to lose focus. You get it?” Jinhwan-hyung says.

I have no guts to look at him, I nod, “Arasseo, hyung”

I wonder how he really feels when he said that…

Next, I see him stands to walk to the bathroom. My eyes follow him until I can’t see his back anymore.

I sigh.

“Hey, are you and Ody-noona dating?” Donghyuk pokes me.

I throw a glance at him, “We are not dating”

“Oh? Really?” He doesn’t believe me.

“I’m gonna be lonely~ Our manly maknae is taken from meee~” Bobby-hyung dramatically sings.

I just shake my head, this hyung is so silly.

I look my phone again and there’s already a reply from her.

Message Thread between You and Ody-noona

Ody-noona           : YAH!! What are you doing to my phone?! Pabo!

Me                  : You saw it? Am I not handsome? *chuckle*

Ody-noona           : Stop being cocky! Or you will be a shortie when you wake up tomorrow *evil grin*

Me                  : Yah! That’s not nice *sad* Just tell me you envy me for my height, kkkk

Ody-noona           : You wish. If you only knew this is my sis’ phone…..

Me                  : Ssincha?! Are you for real?

Ody-noona           : I hope you didn’t forget the fact that you are the reason that my phone

                      is broken, mister

Crap. I did forget. This is embarrassing.

Me                  : Mianhae…

Ody-noona           : Yeah, you better, kkkk. I’m joking, it’s fine now.

Me                  : Are you coming to the training center tomorrow?

Ody-noona           : Do you want me to?

I stare at her text, what should I say? I do want her to come. But I don’t want to sound like I do want her to come… let’s just be tricky.

Me                  : Do you want to?

Ody-noona           : Sure

What? She’s so frank! She agreed right away! Ahaha

Me                  : Then… see you tomorrow?

Ody-noona           : See you tomorrow. Thank you for your help today.

Me                  : No problem

Ody-noona           : ^_^

Me                  : don’t forget your medicine

Ody-noona           : -_-

I laugh to her reply.

Me                  : Good night.
