Her POV

“Thank you for the ride~” the boys say in unison as we drop them in front of their dorm

“No problem, I hope you guys had fun today” nee-chan says.

“Definitely! Today is daebak!” Bobby beams. We laugh.

“Well, take a good rest, guys”

“Be careful on your way home” they bow as we take our leave.

At the house

“did you enjoy today?” nee-chan asks me as she hands me a cup of hot chocolate.

“uhmmm” I take a sip.

Nee-chan glances at me, “Do you somehow… do you like Joonhwe by any chance?”

I stoned.

“wae?” I ask her.

“I don’t know, I kinda have this feeling that he might after you. It’s obvious, you know~” she winks.

“I only know him for like what? 2 weeks? How am I supposed to know?” I say nonchalantly.

“Well, he’s a nice person to talk to, though” I smile, remembering the time when we talked on the Jjimjilbang, also when he cheered me up on the beach…

“You can fall in love even after a second you see someone. It’s about heart” nee-chan pats my head.

“Don’t sleep late, mmkay? I have to go to YG tomorrow in kaa-san’s place. I’ll take you to the training center so you can play with the boys. It’d be boring to be here by yourself, again”

I just smile hearing that then quickly finish my hot choco.

But the very next day, I run a fever.

No One’s POV

“kaa-san?” Yuki dials her mom.

“ah, moshi-moshi kaa-san. How are you? nee, that’s good to hear. Yes, I’m fine. But.. Ody runs a fever. I’m worried about her, it’s pretty high” Yuki is anxious.

“Have you taken her to doctor?” – kaa-san

“Noo, she refused to be taken there…” – Yuki

“Is she too tired there, dear? You remember? She’s anemic” – Kaa-san

Yuki stoned, her mind flashes back the old memories. Her younger sister often fainted back then when they were both in Japan because she’s anemic. She couldn’t really do any sports because she gets tired easily.

“I took her to the beach yesterday…” – Yuki

“Oh? Did you really?” – Kaa-san

“Yeah.. But she didn’t really do anything exhausting though, she said the weather was cold” – Yuki

“Maybe she is mentally tired. Her body hasn’t adapted really well to the change of weather” – Kaa-san

“Oh? That’s true… She didn’t feel well few days ago...” – Yuki

"Just let her take a rest for the day. Ask her if she brings her medicine or not. I'm pretty sure I reminded her to bring her vitamin and iron pills" – Kaa-san

"Oh okay, I’m gonna check her baggage. I need to go to YG for the meeting soon. Arigatou kaa-san" - Yuki

"Doita, please take a good care of your sister, nee?" – Kaa-san

"Hai, Shinpai shinaide" she ends the phone call.

I hear a phone rings, my phone?

My head is so heavy. I open my eyes and I can see my iron pills on the night stand. I guess nee-chan put it there…

Yeah right, I forgot about those pills.

I still hear the phone rings. Hold on, phone? Didn’t Joonhwe break my phone on the airport?

I look closer to the night stand, no, it’s a different phone, it’s not my phone. Whose phone is this?

The phone keeps ringing, I answer it, “Yoboseyo?”

“Ody baby! You finally awake!” it’s nee-chan.

“nee-chan? What’s with this phone?” I ask.

“ I left my phone there in case you need it. You broke your phone, right? I’m using my another one, don’t worry” She says.

“Do you feel better?”

“Yeah, so much better… I don’t have the fever now” I glance at the clock and it’s already 2.27 PM. I’m surprised, did I sleep the whole time?

“Great, I’m sorry I left you alone in the house… I just finally finish the meeting with YG, and I have to go to dentist now. I totally forgot that I have dentist appointment today. So it will be awhile until I go back home…” she sounds disappointed.

“Okay…” I say.

“Oh, but don’t worry. Actually I called to tell you that Joonhwe will be there anytime soon. He will be there to accompany you”

What? Out of all the people..? Joonhwe?

“What?! Are you seriously just leaving your sister with a man in the house?!” I don’t understand my sister’s way of thinking.

“Ody-chan, you know exactly that he won’t do anything bad to you. He’s really nice. He was worried when I told him you are sick”

For the love of oreo. Does she remember what we were talking about last night? She just told me that she thinks Joonhwe likes me. How am I supposed to do around him without being aware to what she said?

Suddenly, I hear the door bell rings.

“I think he’s here. I heard the door bell” I say finally.

“Okay, great. Open the door for him, please. But wait, I actually already gave him the code for the garage. In case you didn’t hear him, he can just go into the house through the garage”

I sigh, “Okay, I’m gonna go downstairs to open the door. Thankyou for the medicine, nee-chan”

“Doita~”

We say bye to each other then end the call.

I walk downstairs but Joonhwe is already there, in the living room.

He startles when he sees me, “oh…? I thought you were sick …?”

“ I was, but I feel better now”

I walk straight to the kitchen.

“Did you just wake up?” he follows me to the kitchen.

I immediately touch my hair; hoping that it’s not messy. I quickly sweep my lips with my palm in case I have drool.

He laughs.

“Nothing’s wrong with your appearance, you just look sleepy and pale” he says.

I sigh in relief.

“So, what’s wrong? I mean like… what sickness?” he sits on the stool. I grab tuna sandwich from the fridge, my stomach won’t tolerate being hungry any longer.

“Nothing, just anemic”

“aigooo why are you so weak?” he shakes his head in disbelief.

“Yah! Are you coming here just to tell me that?! Brat!” I snap him.

“omo, seems like you have extra energy to yell at me” he laughs.

This kid surely has a lot to say. I just shake my head then continue eating my sandwich.

He throws stares around the house.

“Let’s play something” he suggests.

“What?”
