Jieun’s P.O.V

It was finally the day of our trip. We decided to meet at Minho’s house to go to Incheon Airport. What Jongin oppa did a few days ago, surprised me a bit, but it’s the past. I am not going to let love or romance get in the way of my life. Just like any other girl, I sometimes dream of getting a boyfriend . But I don’t think I’m ready for that… yet.

I don’t know if this was a coincidence, but my flight seat was in between Chanyeol’s and Jongin’s.

“ Suho oppa, what’s your seat number?”

“ 12A. Why?” he asked me.

“ Can I change seats with you?” I asked him. Eventhough I said I wouldn’t let love or romance get in the way of my life, you have to admit, it’s going to be really awkward with me sitting next to Jongin. 

 “ Because I want to sit next to Kyuhyun! I want to know him better.” I answered.

“ Oh, is it because you like him…?” he asked me.

“ No! We haven’t been talking a lot, so I want to take the opportunity to know him better.” I said.

“ I guess I could switch seats this time…” Suho oppa said. We couldn’t give each other our boarding pass, since they already had our name on it. The stewards and stewardesses don’t really check our name anyways, so it was okay to switch seats. An hour later, we boarded the plane.

“ So, I heard from Suho hyung that you wanted to talk to me.” Kyuhyun said.

“ Um… yeah. We haven’t talked much since we met.” I said.

Kyuhyun and I talked about ourselves for the past half an hour. We ran out of stuff to talk about. Then, I just remembered.

“ How’s it going between you and Seohyun?” I asked.

“ We’re doing fine. I have a feeling she might like me.” he said.

“ That’s great! Maybe I could tell her about your feelings for you!” I said, excitedly.

“ Maybe…” Kyuhyun said.

“ Why don’t you confess after we come back from Jeju?” I asked him.

“ Why not?” he said and I smiled.

Jongin’s P.O.V

Damn it, Suho hyung! Why did he switch seats with Jieun? I have to admit, I can't stand seeing Jieun with another guy. Does Kyuhyun like Jieun? Does Jieun like Kyuhyun? That’s impossible! Kyuhyun likes Seohyun! I am not going to take my eyes off of Kyuhyun for 1 second.

Jieun’s P.O.V

 “ So, anything going on between you and Chanyeol?” Kyuhyun asked me.

“ Bwo? No…” I said. There is nothing going on between us! Except for the fact that Chanyeol hasn’t been talking to me much…

He tends to ignore me even at home. If I ask him something, he’ll reply short answers like ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

“ Come on. I know you’re not telling the truth.” Kyuhyun said. Should I tell him? I can’t just keep quiet for the rest of my life. I need to tell someone.

“ Well… Chanyeol hasn’t been talking to me lately and I don’t even know why.” I told him.

“ Hm… did you receive any confessions lately and when did Chanyeol stop talking to you?” Kyuhyun asked. Oh no. Who is he talking about? Myungsoo or Jongin oppa?

“ Chanyeol stopped talking to me after…” I stopped. I think I know why he’s not talking to me.

“ I may know why Chanyeol stopped talking to me.” I told Kyuhyun.

“ When?”

“ This is just a hunch, but I think it was after Jongin oppa confessed to me.” I said.

“ Jongin hyung confessed to you???” Kyuhyun whispered, not wanting anyone to hear.

“ Yeah. He confessed after the spring festival.” I told him.

“ Chanyeol must have saw you guys.” Kyuhyun said.

“ Even if he saw us, why is he ignoring me?”I said.

Kyuhyun grinned.

“ Why are you smiling…?” I asked him.

“ Oh, Jieun… don’t you see? Chanyeol likes you!” he told me. Is he crazy? There’s no way Chanyeol would like me.

“ Why would he like me? Tell me 5 reasons.” I said.

“ 1, you guys are neighbors. 2, you bake chocolate chip cookies for him. 3, you guys like spending time with each other. 4, you’re not his fangirl and 5, you’re kind and sweet. Do I need to say anything else?” Kyuhyun asked.

I didn’t answer. Does he really like me?

There is one thing I’m not entirely sure of. Do I like him?

I mean, my heart aches if I see him with another girl, my heart beats faster when he looks at me, and I miss talking to him. I miss him smiling at me. I miss hearing people tell us we make a perfect couple…

I miss him even if we’re living together.

That’s when I realize how stupid I was for not realizing this earlier.

I like Chanyeol… no.

I love him.

It's great to be back!

Before I wrote this chapter, I came up with another plot!
