The next few months passed by quickly, it was filled with smiles and laughers and a lot of butterflies. Yoorin had never felt such joy and… he said he loved her.

It had come out suddenly in the quiet library on Friday when Yoorin was jotting down notes for next period. He was bored, she could tell, but he had insisted on staying inside with her for the whole lunch which made her secretly happy. He kept on wrapping his hands in her curls and blowing his fringe away from his forehead. And she noticed that he kept on taking in deep breaths and staring into the ceiling - a sign that he was thinking hard about something.

“Yoorin…?” He bent his head down and gazed into her eyes. “I love you.” It was the first time he ever admitted to having feelings for her.

It had came out hesitant and awkward, as if he hadn’t had much practice saying it before. But when he lifted his eyes she saw that he meant it.

That night Yoorin woke up to the sound of knocking outside her window. She had gone to bed as usual, with her cat sprawled heavily across her feet.
