“Hyung.” He called him. But there’s no answer. He gritted his teeth. His coffee eyes were looking at the elder who’s  sitting at the working table. He sat in front of the elder.

“Hyung.” He called him again for the second time. Still , there’s no answer from the elder.

“YAH KIM SUNGGYU!” His anger exploded. The elder stop doing his work, looking at the younger with a blank face.

“What is it, Kim Myungsoo? What do you want? I’m busy today so let’s just talk at home, okay?” The elder finally answered. The younger clasped his lips , trying to calm himself.

“Hyung we need to talk.” Sunggyu let out his breath. “Fine, let’s talk.” Myungsoo clenched his teeth while staring his elder cousin coldly.

“Cut that cold act, Kim Myungsoo.” Sunggyu said. Myungsoo rolled his eyes. Sunggyu took away his works so that he could stay focused on what Myungsoo’s gonna say.

“So what is it?” Sunggyu started trying to look calm in front of his beloved younger cousin. He already treat Myungsoo like his very own brother.

“I heard it from your mum.” Myungsoo said. Sunggyu flashed his eyebrows.

“About what?” He’s acting like he don’t know anything while he does. Myungsoo smirked at him.

“Cut that crap of acting , hyung. You know what is it about.” Myungsoo shot. Sunggyu sighed in defeat.

“Oh , fine. Then, what do you really wanna talk about?” Sunggyu stated.

“Are you seriously gonna do it?” Myungsoo asked the elder in a serious tone. He just couldn’t believe that his beloved cousin will just destroy his life for the freaking company’s sake. That’s ridiculous.

“Well, I don’t have any choice. I have to do it since I’m going to be the CEO of Kim Corporation soon.” He answered the younger helplessly. Myungsoo couldn’t help but faked a laugh. This is so funny. This is an insanity for him. Why would you sacrifice yourself for a damn useless company.

“Hyung, you can change it. You don’t have to carry on this arranged marriage. You don’t even want it right?” Myungsoo raged. Sunggyu smiled at his beloved cousin sheepishly.

“You know me so well right Myungsoo? Awww , how sweet of you.” Sunggyu said jokingly while ruffling his cousin’s black raven hair.

“Yah , hyung! I’m being serious here!” Myungsoo shrieked which made Sunggyu laugh.

“Oh whatever kiddo. I appreciate your little precious advice but you really don’t have to worry about me. After all, I’m willing to do it since  it is good for my own sake.” Sunggyu stated. Myungsoo let out a long sigh.

“Fine. I hope you won’t regret , hyung. And I hope that it will be the best for you then.” Sunggyu smiled. At last, he was success in convincing his cousin.

“I won’t, Myungsoo. I won’t. Don’t worry about me.” Sunggyu gave him a warm smile. Myungsoo just nodded. Looks like he’s gonna have a married cousin so soon.

“Hyung, want to know something?” Sunggyu nodded.

“I really hope that I wouldn’t have to be placed in your place. Well , you know it .” Myungsoo said while laughing by himself. Sunggyu chuckled.

“Yeah, you really shouldn’t. Hey, you know what I just thought that I should get some coffee. So wanna join me?” Sunggyu said to his cousin. Myungsoo gladly nodded. “You really owed me one, hyung”.

“One more thing.” Sunggyu said before smacked Myungsoo’s head with a file. “Ouch! What is that for hyung!?” He whined.

“Don’t you dare to call me by my name again, understand?” Sunggyu said jokingly. Myungsoo just rolled his eyes.

“Eunji-unnie.” Naeun called her. Eunji looked at the younger with a helpless expression.

“What?” She asked weakly. She just had a fight with her mother when she tried to console her to cancel the marriage. So yeah , she ran to Naeun’s since Naeun’s place is not too far from her home.

“Are you going to stay here until tonight?” Naeun said  while handed her a mug of white coffee. Eunji took the mug after mouthed a ‘thank you’ to Naeun.

“Seems like it.” She stated quietly and took a sip of white coffee. Naeun took a seat beside Eunji. She felt a thug in her heart seeing Eunji’s puffy eyes. It hurts her so much to see someone that’s strong like Eunji cries. She patted Eunji’s shoulder slowly. Eunji gave her a smile.

“Alright then , I’m going to ask the maids to prepare a room for you.” Naeun said while standing up. Eunji just nodded. While Naeun was gone, Eunji’s tears rolled again. It hurts her so much when she tried to remember the moment when she had a fight with her mother just now.

“Mum , can we just cancel the marriage? I’m still young for that.” She tried to convince her mother.

“Jung Hyerim , what are you saying about!? The marriage is just a month from now! There’s no way we could cancel it!” Her mother’s anger exploded.

“You can’t do this to me Mum! I have my own choice too! You can’t just force me to get married with a stranger that I don’t even know!” She said with tears rolled from her eyes.

“I’m not going to cancel it. If you’re my daughter then you should just proceed to the marriage.” Her mother said and leave her alone in the room.

Eunji wiped her tears. Trying to forget what happened between her and her mother. She felt so helpless these days. How she wish she could run away from these problems. But it seems like very impossible for her to do that. Looks like she couldn’t even run from it.

“Eunji?” A voice made her stop thinking. She turned back. “Ah, Dongwoon-oppa. You’re home. I thought you will come home late as Naeun said.” She greeted the older person. Dongwoon took a seat opposite her.

“The meeting finished earlier than I thought. It’s good to be at home this early. At least Naeun wouldn’t nag at me for being home so late.” He said with a chuckle. Eunji laughed at his statement.

“Ah, Oppa! You’re home. I thought you would be late again.” Naeun who just entered the living room said. She took a seat beside Dongwoon.

“Well, the meeting finished earlier. Shall we have a dinner together then?” Dongwoon suggested. Naeun and Eunji nodded.

“Oppa, Eunji-unnie will stay here tonight. You don’t mind right?” Naeun asked her brother’s permission.

“Yeah, sure. I don’t even mind. But can I ask for the reasons?” Dongwoon stated. Naeun looked at Eunji.

“I will tell about the reasons later Oppa.” Eunji said recently. Naeun just nodded. Dongwoon stood up from his seat.

“Alright, I need to wash myself first.” Dongwoon excused himself. While Dongwoon was gone , Naeun asked Eunji, “Yah, unnie! Are you really gonna tell him the reasons?” Eunji nodded without hesitation. “Of course. I think he need to know it since I’m going to stay here tonight.”

“But how will you explain to him about the arranged marriage?” Naeun stated. Eunji kept herself in silence for a while before opening .

“Well , I think I should be honest about it then. Maybe he could help me a little about it.” Eunji said.

“Ahhh, so that’s the reason.” Dongwoon said after he heard Eunji’s story. He stuffed a spoonful spaghetti in his mouth and chew them carefully.

“I guess it’s must be hard for you since you’re still young. I’m sorry to hear that.”

“Yeah, I don’t even think that my parents would ask me to do that.” Eunji said in unbelievable tone.

“Hmmm, it’s one of the heirs of Kim Corporation. Well the Kims have three heirs. I just couldn’t identify who’s the one that will become your husband soon.” Dongwoon said suddenly. Eunji flashed her eyes and looked at Dongwoon. Same goes to Naeun.

“Oppa, you know them?” Both Naeun and Eunji said in sync. Dongwoon nodded.

“Well , not all of them. But I think that you’ll marry the eldest one since he will be the one to replace the CEO of the Kim Corporation soon.” Dongwoon explained. Naeun and Eunji looked at each other.

“The eldest one!?” They both shouted in sync again. Dongwoon chuckled to see both of them act like that.

“Yah Oppa! I’m just 17 years old for God’s sake! I don’t want to get married with an old man..” Eunji said.

“Eunji-ah you don’t have to worry. He’s not so old for you, I think.” Dongwoon saidwhile laughing. “Oppa , perhaps… Do you know the person? I mean, the way you’re saying it seems like you know him so well.” Naeun said while staring at Dongwoon suspiciously. Dongwoon almost choked his food when he heard what Naeun said.

“Yah! If I knew him of course I would tell you guys about him.” Dongwoon explained.

“Are you sure that you didn’t know anything about him? Oppa , you’re the CEO of Son Corporation! It does make sense for you to know the others companies’ ruler. Am I right?” Eunji shot. Dongwoon sighed in defeat.

“Alright.. You guys won. But I would just tell his age, okay?” Dongwoon stated. Eunji and Naeun looked at him seriously.

“Oppa, why don’t just tell us who’s the person is !?” They both shouted to the elder.

“Haish, you guys are too loud! Don’t you feel pity to my precious ears..” Dongwoon said while covering his ears. “Whatever. Just tell me his age. At least I could compare his age with my age.” Eunji said, rolling her eyes.

“Well, he’s.. 34 years old.” Dongwoon said. Eunji’s jaw dropped as she heard what Dongwoon said. Same goes with Naeun.

“34 YEARS OLD!? THAT’S TOO OLD FOR ME!!!” Eunji shouted hysterically. Dongwoon couldn’t help but laugh. Gosh, it’s so easy to fool them.“Unnie, what should we do now ? I won’t let you to marry an old man.” Naeun whined.

“Hey! I’m just kidding! How come you girls believe it so easily?” Dongwoon admitted. Both Eunji and Naeun gave him a death stare.

“OPPAAAAA!!!!!” Dongwoon covered his ears for the second time as the girls started to shout at him hysterically.

“Alright, stop that. I’ll tell you his real age.” Dongwoon finally surrendered. “Oppa, this is serious.” Naeun warned him.

“He’s a 23 years old guy.” He said the truth. Eunji counted her between the stranger using her fingers.

“6 years apart!? Euwwwww that’s too much old for me.” Eunji whined. Both Naeun and Dongwoon chuckled at her statement.

“Looks like you really care about the marriage right, Eunji-ah?” Dongwoon suddenly said which made Eunji became quiet. He’s right. If she didn’t even care about the marriage she wouldn’t demand him to tell the age of her so-called-future-husband.

“I…. Don’t know.” Eunji looked down. Dongwoon cleared his throat. Seems like he just ruined someone’s mood tonight.

“I’m sorry , Eunji. I shouldn’t say that.” Dongwoon apologized. Eunji gave him a smile. “It’s okay , I don’t even mind. Maybe you’re right.”

“I guess I need to excuse myself first then.” Eunji said and stood up from her seat. She bowed and went upstairs. Naeun eyed his brother.

“Oppa, I should do something about this. I need to help her in solving her problems.” Naeun said to Dongwoon.

“Well, I don’t think you have to. I think it’s the best for her.” Naeun’s jaw dropped as she heard what her brother said.

“What do you mean by that, Oppa?” Naeun asked. Dongwoon didn’t answer but smile.
