“And look this way … perfect!” I couldn’t help but hold up two thumbs towards Jongin as he was on set. He was at his second photo shoot of the week and was doing amazing. At the moment, he was wearing low slung Calvin Klein jeans and nothing else. I couldn’t stop my eyes as they traced over the contours of his perfect body, soaking in the defined six-pack and v-line.
“Now Jongin, smirk like you’ve never before.” The photographer commanded as he changed position. I had the perfect view of the screen and the photos that were coming out were breathtaking. Suddenly I felt a tap on my back and turned to see Onew with a clipboard.
“Onew hyung?” I whispered as he pulled me in for a hug.
“How are you?” He asked as he ticked something off his list.
“Great and you?”
“Good, I’ve be~” Onew was cut off by the photographer’s annoyed voice.
“Jongin … concentrate … come on.”
“Can I take a break Sir?” I heard my boyfriend ask. I turned to see the photographer nod before my little puppy bounded over; a completely different person. He slipped his arms around my waist and proceeded to plop his head on my shoulder.
“… hi.” I glanced from Jongin to Onew before smiling.
“Onew hyung, this is my boyfriend Jongin. Jong-ah this is an old friend, Onew,” I introduced them to each other and they shook hands awkwardly around my body.
“Well I bette~” Onew was let again cut off when a short, wide-eyed boy rushed forward. Immediately I could feel Jongin tense and straighten up. The boy looked innocent and quite young as he handed a flashing phone to Onew who immediately thanked him and checked the message.
“Tae, come and watch,” I was pulled from my staring by Jongin tugging on my hand and pulling me to see him carry on with taking photographs. I had to admit, it was quite nice watching him but I couldn’t help but notice the small boy was standing near me; watching Jongin as though he knew him.

“And that’s a wrap, thank you Jongin.” The photographer’s voice made me look up from my phone and my conversation with Key. Three hours later and we could finally get out of here. Not that I wasn’t happy for Jongin or that I minded, but three hours in the same bare room was making me start to feel slightly stir-crazy.
“Done hyung,” Jongin smiled as he finally pulled a top over his head. I was slightly disappointed that the gorgeous view was covered but I was sure it wasn’t going to be the last time seeing his body.
“You did so well baby,” I praised him as I handed him his hoodie and made sure his shoes were ready. Both of our attentions were caught, however, when the small boy cleared his throat.
“Um … you did great,” he smiled shyly. I smiled back at the kindness of his words. However, Jongin didn’t seem so impressed.
“Thanks,” he grunted before he slipped on his shoes. I frowned in his direction and nudged him in the ribs. This person was being kind enough to give him a compliment and he was acting like a stuck up child.
“Look Jongin … I’m sorry I just~” To my surprise Jongin cut him off with a hard glare.
“Sorry should have been said a long time ago Kyungsoo,” he hissed as he straightened up and pulled me over to his side. As soon as I remembered who Kyungsoo was, I loathed the boy. He had broken up with Jongin for such a petty reason and moved on the second he left.
“I know but it’s better late than never, isn’t it?” This Kyungsoo said meekly as he stared at me. I stared back equally as hard to get across Jongin’s point.
“Huh … yeah,” Jongin didn’t seem convinced as he laughed bitterly. “I proved you wrong though.” What was he talking about?
“Yeah you did,” Kyungsoo smiled weakly as he glanced at the set.
“And what about Joonmyeon? Huh? How is he doing in providing for you?” I could hear the venom in Jongin’s voice. It almost made me jealous at how much of an effect this boy had on my lover. I had to remind myself though that he hated him and loved me.
“Joonmyeon and I … we aren’t together anymore,” Kyungsoo looked scared as Jongin’s face screamed ‘I told you so’. Tears seemed to gather in his eyes. “He um … left me for a Chinese exchange student when he went to university.”
“Well, I’m sorry. Kyungsoo let me introduce you to my boyfriend, Taemin,” Jongin smirked as he pointed to me and pulled me closer. “He is also my manager.”
“Nice to meet you,” Kyungsoo’s voice was devoid of life and compelled feelings completely opposite to his words.
“Nice to meet you to, Jongin told me about you,” I tried to sound friendly but by the face he make, I think it came out wrong.
“KYUNGSOO!” Onew’s shout suddenly burst through the tense atmosphere and startled all three of us.
“Well I should go. It’s good to see you so happy,” Kyungsoo walked away as a tear trickled down his cheek. I turned to see an equally teary Jongin waiting for me to hug him. Sielntly, I slung my arm around him before guiding him out to the car; letting him be carried away by his thoughts.

“Hyung?” I was lying in bed with Jongin curled up in my arms. He had been quiet and upset for the rest of the day. Normally when the photos came through in an email, Jongin would jump to see them but today, he just sulked and said my judgement was better.
“Yes?”
“I’m sorry,” he sighed as he squirmed in my grip.
“It’s fine baby. I know it’s hard when someone you love just turns up like that,” I smiled into his hair. I loved just lying in bed together, in each other’s arms. We were supposed to be sleeping but when we had had a day like this, we ended up just talking.
“No I’m sorry for thinking about Kyungsoo. This afternoon I kept thinking about what it would be like if we were still together. Maybe we wouldn’t still be together but I may not have met you and that would be a nightmare. I love you,” My shoulder became wet from Jongin’s crying.
“Love you too Jongie. Thanks for talking to me. There won’t be a day when I’m never by your side,” I cooed as I smoothed his hair.
“Ditto.”
