What the hell does he want me to do?!

 

I said sorry to him already this morning but he just ignored me aisshh.

 

“youngmin-nim! Here’s your lunch ~ “

 

“……………”

 

“I am so sorry youngmin-nim! I promise, I’ll be good to you forever!”

“am I forgiven already? Oh wait, don’t leave! You forgot your lunch!””

 

“bye kwangmin, I’m gonna go first.”

 

I even prepared his lunch.

 

But nevermind I still brought it to his table this morning anyway, while he was asleep hehehe.

 

Kwangmin said we’ll meet at the étoile bakeshop today.

 

And yes, we’re gonna buy a peace offering cake for youngmin.

 

Goodbye my dearly beloved savings! T T

 

But for youngmin, giving up my savings isn’t a big deal.

 

“yo miyo!” kwangmin waved at me while smiling his bright white pearls.

 

“sorry I’m late! How long have you been here?” I looked at him with my puppy dog eyes.

 

“I just came here too! Haha! Don’t worry you’re not late, come on let’s go.” Kwangmin went to my back and pushed me inside the bakeshop.

 

This bakeshop never changes. It never fails to make my mouth drool from the lovely scent that it gives off.

 

I wonder when’s the last time I’ve been here.

 

Mom and I used to go here when I was young.

 

I love the cakes they make in here. They’re just so ing good!

 

I made a lot of memories here, Including the young boy that I met here.

“youngmin-hyung loves the cakes in here. Especially the chocolate cake.” Kwangmin’s voice returned me back to reality.

 

Being here inside this bakeshop makes me feel nostalgic.

 

“oh really? Hmm. I guess he have some good taste. So we’re gonna buy the chocolate cake?” God, how I love the chocolate cake they sell here!

 

But I must resist. NO CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR MIYO.

 

“yep. One chocolate cake please.” Kwangmin said at the cashier lady.

 

“would you like to put a message or any dedications on top of the cake?” the cashier lady asked kwangmin.

 

I looked at kwangmin and nodded like a little girl.

 

“ah yes please, is it okay if we will be the one to write on it?” kwangmin turned to look at the cashier lady again.

 

“okay sir! Thank you for buying and what a lovely girlfriend you have there! You look good together~ hohoho. Please wait here while I prepare your order.”

 

Girlfriend? GIRLFRIEND?? What the are you saying you freaking young cashier lady who looks like an ahjumma?!

 

“hahaha! The cashier lady thought you’re my girlfriend, she thinks we look good together.” Kwangmin smiled like an angel at me.

 

Aisshh. My heart’s jumping up and down because of that stupid lady… but I actually like it. Hehehehe.

 

, my dear tomato cheeks, please don’t come out now!

 

“ah y-yeah..hahaha..I think so too…” I mumbled my last words, afraid kwangmin might hear them.

 

“what did you say?”

 

“ah no! nothing! Hahaha! I just thought you look cute!”

 

“awww.. kiyeopta miyo!” kwangmin pinched my cheeks and I struggle to take off his hands from my face.

 

“yah kwangmin stop that!—“

 

“omo ~ what a really cute couple! Here’s your order sir! I hope you and your girlfriend enjoy the cake! Please come again!” the cashier lady said as she handed the red box to kwangmin.

 

We nodded at the lady and went outside of the bakeshop.

 

“let’s sit on that bench and write your apology message on the cake.”

 

“okay!”

 

We sat on the nearest bench inside the playground which is by the way beside the bakeshop.

 

I opened the box and a very lovely cake tempted my mouth to take a bite in it.

 

But NO! this is for youngmin!

 

“I think we should write faster before I lose control over my mouth.”

 

“hahaha! Me too! The cake’s just too tempting.” Kwangmin giggled while looking at the cake.

 

“I want to take your picture…”

 

“why?” kwangmin looked at me with his puzzled eyes.

 

“ah because..ah no! hahaha! What I mean is I want to take your picture with the cake! And I think it’s better if you write the message instead of me. Pretty please!”

 

“aigoo.. okay. I think I’m spoiling you too much.” Kwangmin said as he took the white chocolate pen from the plastic bag and ruffled my hair.

 

“write there: mian youngmin, I won’t do it again. from the bottom of my heart, miyo.”

 

Kwangmin scribbled down on the cake, and I was in awe at how good his handwriting is. Better than mine! Now I’m thinking if I’m really a girl.

 

“kay! Done! How does it look?” kwangmin handed the cake to me and what the .

 

“Mianhae youngmin-oppa! I promise to be a good girl from now on ~ from the bottom of my heart! Ppyong! MIYO-ah ❤”

 

“…………….”

 

“hey miyo anything wrong?” kwangmin tilted his head and looked at my eyes.

 

You’re asking me what’s wrong? This ing cake is so WRONG!

 

“yah kwangmin! What the heck is this?! OPPA?! PPYONG?! Are you crazy?! I would never ever say those words to youngmin! He’s gonna think I’m going nuts! Let’s go buy another cake--” I stood up from the bench but kwangmin pulled my back and took the cake from my hands.

 

“no no. trust me. Youngmin will love it. and it looks cute, it will be a waste if we just throw it right?” kwangmin showed his puppy dog eyes and pouted like a ing cute young girl.

 

“but..”

 

“Ok then it’s settled! let’s go back home now!” kwangmin placed our bags on his right shoulder and held my right hand while the holding the red box on his other hand.

 

“yah wait!” AISSHH. If only you didn’t act all cute in front of me then I would really throw that ed up cake!

 

You always make me go crazy kwangmin!

 

Kwangmin’s POV

After buying youngmin’s favorite cake, we eventually walked home.

 

miyo kept fussing about the message on the cake while walking.

 

And I actually think she looks cute acting like that. Hehehe.

 

Upon arriving, I immediately placed the cake on the fridge.

 

“kwangmin! Will you help me put these cards up on the ceiling?” miyo said as she handed me the ‘I’m sorry’ cards that she made.

 

“it looks pretty! Youngmin will definitely forgive you when he arrives!” I patted miyo’s head and smiled at her.

 

Awww, she’s blushing! Kiyeopta.

 

“stop the compliments, I’m getting nervous!”

 

“haha! okay let’s go!”

 

Miyo cleaned the room while I set up the cards and some balloons.

 

“done!”

“it’s already evening and youngmin’s still not here. Where could he have gone to?”

 

I asked miyo but there was no answer from her.

 

I looked beside me and saw her sleeping on the wooden floor.

 

Aigoo miyo. You could’ve ask me to call you when hyung comes home.

 

I noticed her face and started looking at her features.

 

She looks so beautiful.

 

Not cute like beautiful, but beautiful beautiful!

 

This is the first time I scanned her face. She looks like a doll.

 

I continued looking at her face when my eyes directed at her red soft lips.

 

*dugeun dugeun* my heart suddenly started beating faster.

 

I still remember how I got my first kiss.

 

How I got my first kiss from this girl beside me.

 

I wanna touch her.

 

I wanna feel her warmth again…

 

I shoved her hair from her face and leaned closer.

 

“gomawo!”

No. kwangmin, what are you thinking? Miyo’s like your little sister!

 

What am I doing? I shouldn’t take advantage of her like this. She’s not my girlfriend but why do I want to kiss her so much?

 

No. good boys don’t do things like that.

 

“Aishh..babo..”

 

I placed a blanket on top of miyo to keep her warm.

 

I walked downstairs and went to the kitchen to prepare the cake.

 

“kwangmin, I’m home!”

 

“y-youngmin? YOUNGMIN! YOU’RE BACK!”

 

Looks like hyung’s here and I can hear miyo’s voice from here already. Better take out the cake from the fridge now.

 

“pika-pika pika cake ~ ♪”

 

“KYAAAA!!”as I got the cake out from the box, I heard miyo’s voice and a loud thug from the living room.

 

“hey what happene—“

 

I ran to the kitchen’s door, still holding the cake, and saw youngmin holding miyo on top of him.

 

“yah watch your steps! How could you trip on the stairs like that? You could’ve gotten hurt from that fall you idiot! ”

 

“it’s okay at least now, you’re not ignoring me!”

 

“babo, I’m not angry at you. I just wanted to see how you will react. You’re as stupid as always.” Youngmin chuckled at miyo who immediately cried while hugging him.

 

“yah! Don’t ever do that again! Don’t you know how much I worried over you?! I hate it when someone I’m close with is angry at me!”

 

“ne, ne, hahaha. Stop crying already.” Youngmin patted miyo’s head and hugged her while placing his head on top of hers.

 

I was about to come out a while ago but I shouldn’t ruin miyo’s chance to make up with hyung.

 

Come to think of it, these past few days, youngmin has been very kind and gentle to miyo.

 

Does youngmin-hyung like miyo?

 

I know I shouldn’t think about these things, but I can’t help it.

 

My heart felt like it’s gonna burst the moment I saw miyo hugging youngmin.

 

I know it’s just because miyo missed youngmin so much but I can’t help but feel irritated.

 

I walked back inside the kitchen and placed the cake on the table.

 

I can’t go out there, not looking like this.

 

I’m so flustered. I don’t know what’s happening to me.

 

Why am I acting like this? I’m actually irritated at my brother for the first time in my 16 years of living and he’s not even doing anything bad to me.

 

It hurts. It hurts seeing them together like that.

-nim : an honorific used to indicate your respect to someone.

-oppa: an honorific that younger girls use to call older brothers.

-hyung: an honorific that younger boys use to call older brothers

Kiyeopta: means ‘cute’ in Korean

Mianhae/mian: to say sorry in Korean

Ppyong: a sound effect used in Korean. It can be used in anyway you want. In this case, kwangmin used ppyong as a sound for a kiss. Like xoxo or mwah in other countries.

Dugeun-dugeun: the sound effect of a heart beating.

Gomawo: to say thank you in Korean.

Babo: means stupid in Korean.
