Baekhyun sighed for the umpteenth time, throwing a cushion at Luhan who whimpered when it hit him in the face.

The room was quiet and gloomy, all tired and exhausted after waiting for Tao for a good 30 minutes.

“WE’RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!”

Just by the click of the door, everyone seemed to lighten up, all springing up from their seats.

Tao walked out, rolling his eyes with a sigh.

“Yeah yeah I know, you’ve been waiting for ages blah blah blah but still, there’s one last thing and that is...”

He pulled out two outfits, each held in a hand.

Groans echoed throughout the room, with Baekhyun face-palming on the couch.

Tao scoffed, shaking the very much similar clothing.

“They’re not!!! One’s grey and the other’s just dull.”

Everyone sighed, rubbing their temples before exclaiming.

“JUST HURRY UP!!!!!”

Tao nodded, rolling his eyes.

“Yeah yeah whatever geez. ……. So which one should I wear exactly?”

Not getting the chance to realize, 5 pillows were sent flying to his face.

Chanyeol squealed, dashing to a panicked looking diva.

Jongdae grinned, strolling to a casual looking baozi.

Kris smirked, approaching a rather tensed looking panda.

Jongin pursed his lips, shuffling to a wide eyed looking male.

Sehun stood still, silently side watching a nervous looking boy.

Well, here it goes again.

Yixing gave a nod, a smile forming on his face.

“Hey.”

“So… Did you rest well?”

Another nod, and Joonmyun bit on his lip.

“Any idea on what movie you’d like?”

“Hm, I’m fine with anything actually, just not a boring one is good.”

“Hm if you ever get bored, I’ll be there to entertain you.”

Joonmyun gave the other a wink, which he got a faint blush and nod in return.

“You look great by the way.”

Offering a bright grin, Yixing smiled, fingers fiddling with each other.

His grin widened before he gestured to the entrance.

With a nod, Yixing trailed behind Joonmyun into the theater, leaving the others to settle with each other.

With a deep breath, Chanyeol sighed, puffing his chest and standing upright.

Baekhyun looked up at the other and blinked, most probably unsure of what to do.

The taller cleared his throat, rubbing his nape and averting his gaze from the other.

“So… you look nice.”

Nice? Really Chanyeol? NICE?!

Baekhyun nodded, smiling at the other.

“Well thank you, you don’t look too bad yourself.”

Chanyeol grinned, letting out a deep chuckle.

“Well, let’s go in? We can check out which movie is decent.”

Both smiled before heading in together, each bringing out different topics from time to time to avoid the awkward atmosphere.

Minseok stared at the other, blinking and confused.

Jongdae chuckled, ruffling the smaller’s hair with a grin.

Minseok kept silent, watching as Jongdae blabbered on about how he was simply PRECIOUS.

“And don’t get me started on how you’re wearing such adorable clothings- Hey, you ok? Are you listening?”

Snapping out of his daze, Minseok nodded frantically, coughing.

Jongdae chuckled, grinning as he stepped closer to the other.

“Are you too mesmerized by your prince’s charms, princess?”

Minseok frowned, parting his lips to argue when Jongdae raised his hand, stopping him.

“It’s ok, I understand, I can’t stare at you for too long either, I might mistake myself for being dead, having think that I’m with an angel.”

The older blinked before a small tint of pink flourished his cheeks.

Jongdae would have done his victory dance if it weren’t for his calm and so called “matured” image.

He wrapped an arm around Minseok’s shoulder before walking in, grinning in victory when the other remained silent and allowed him to do so.

Jongin chuckled, nodding in agreement as he offered a small smile.

“I didn’t think all of you would come actually.”

“Well the only person who didn’t agree on tagging along was Tao, until Gucci came in.”

“Well, that’s an interesting fact.”

Both nodded, clearly feeling the awkwardness crawl in.

“Hm, so should we head in? We should get the closest timing to now if we want to hang out more later.”

Kyungsoo nodded, smiling before following Jongin inside, conversing like the normal pair they are.

Tao frowned, nodding slowly.

Tao crossed his arms, clucking his tongue as he hummed.

“You seem so nice, it’s suffocating me.”

“Well get used to it, because from now on, I’ll be nice to woo you.”

The younger scoffed, leaning his body to rest on his right leg.

“It’s not going to work.”

“Well, I can always try.”

“Well good luck.”

The taller gave a cheeky grin, grabbing Tao’s hand before pulling him inside.

It was awkward, seriously awkward.

They were the only ones left outside.

Well, they could use this time to get to know each other better.

But… what if something goes wrong?

Both sighed, clearing their throats and glancing at each other every once in a while.

“So…” They said together, immediately turning to each other and coughing.

Sehun awkwardly gestured towards the entrance, the other soon taking the hit.

“Yeah we should head in… yeah.”

They scurried towards the entrance, barging in and towards the others when the awkwardness was soon too suffocating.

What a wimpy and awkward pair, really.

There weren’t much people in the theater, most probably rushing through last minute work, having the next day was Monday.

The number of decent movies wasn’t much either, most being too boring and cliché.

Jongdae claims that he could simply predict the ending with just a glance of the poster.

Kris claims that it was impossible and that he was stupid.

They soon agreed on a certain horror movie, all satisfied with the choice and standing in line.

Well, all except for two.

That would be Tao and Luhan, having them shivering and flinching at the sound of the word “horror”.

Kris grinned in triumph, crossing his arms and humming.

“Someone afraid of horror movies?”

Tao shot him a glare, growling slightly.

“Shut up.”

“Aw baby, don’t be afraid, I’ll protect you~”

Tao gave him a hard nudge on the rib, the taller immediate wincing.

“Shut up or your nonexistent gets cut off.”

On the other hand, Luhan was quivering at the back.

Sehun was next to him, eyeing the shorter with a frown.

What the is he quivering for? Is he sick or something?

It was then the trailer for the certain horror movie they chose started playing on the big screen, and Luhan almost immediately shuffling to hide behind Baekhyun, who patted his back comfortingly.

Sehun nodded, a sudden realization hitting him.

Oh… I think I get it now.

It came to be their turn, with Joonmyun leaning on the counter and clucking his tongue.

The staff offered him a polite smile.

“Good afternoon sir, what would you be watching?”

Joonmyun pointed to the movie title, earning a nod in return and the image of the theater’s sitting appearing on the small screen.

“Your seats?”

Joonmyun chuckled coolly, flipping his hair oh so calmly.

“There’s no need for that, I’m the getting all of the seats please.”

At the back, the other 5 of the maniacs were gagging, scoffing and muttering,

“Show off.”

The staff frowned, obviously not getting the seriousness in the customer’s voice.

“Excuse me?”

Yixing blinked, cutting in with a small chuckle.

“Oh no he was just kidding, just 12 tickets for the next timing please.”

He pointed out to the seats, smiling as he watched the staff nod.

Joonmyun pouted slightly, disappointed that he couldn’t impress the café’s cashier.

He bought 6 sets of combo meals, all having a medium sized cup of drink with a large box of popcorn.

“Wait 6? There’s 12 of us.” Jongin pointed out, frowning slightly.

“I doubt you having no money is a reason, you’re filthy rich.”

The richest among them shrugged, smiling after.

“Well, you can always share. Chanyeol with you, Jongin with you, Kris with you, Sehun with you, Jongdae with you and me with you.” He stated, gesturing to each pair accordingly.

The other 5 maniacs nodded, agreeing while the 6 victims simply stared at him, eyes wide and breath hitched as they watched him hand the popcorn and drink over to their respectively partners.

“Well, since we bought the tickets soon enough, we can enter now so let’s go!!!”

The rest nodded, following Joonmyun as he gave the staff the tickets, entering after getting a nod of approval.
