It was your birthday and you kept looking for Minwoo that day. But it seemed though he’s been ignoring you? Because, every time you saw him, he’d be busy with something. Right now, he’s writing some things down in a little notebook.

You: Minwoo-ah, you said you would spend my birthday with me…

Minwoo: Well, it’s not afterschool yet, so yeah.

You started to pout.

You: Minwoo! You still haven’t greeted me happy birthday all day!

Minwoo: Yeah, yeah, happy birthday.

You: Hmph, you don’t seem happy… what are you writing down anyways?!

Minwoo: Aish! Don’t take my things without my permission!

Minwoo and you got into an argument because he wouldn’t let you see what was in the book. That day you were already getting sad, after school, you looked for Minwoo.

You: Kwangmin! Youngmin!

Kwangmin: Oh, Seohyun! Happy birthday!

Youngmin: Happy Birthday!

They both greeted you a hug and took your hand.

You: Wait! I have to meet up with Minwoo!

They took you to the park.

Youngmin: It was Minwoo’s idea for us to hangout.

You: Really? [I remembered I told him I wanted to be with him all day… did that argument really mess my whole birthday up?] –sigh

Kwangmin: Don’t worry, I’ll make sure today will be a fun day for you! Right, hyung?

Youngmin: Yup!

The two took your hand and you guys went to buy ice-cream. Suddenly, you remembered that day you and Minwoo first went to the park. You started to get sad. Youngmin handed you chocolate ice-cream.

Youngmin: Here! This will make you feel better! Ice-cream makes everything better!

You smiled and gladly took the ice-cream, and then the two went to a place to buy you balloons.

Meanwhile, Minwoo was buying things at a store.

Minwoo: Excuse me, how much is this teddy bear?

He held out a big teddy bear plush. She told him the price and then he bought it. Then he went to call his dad.

Minwoo: Oh, Appa, did you get the things ready for tonight?

Minwoo’s Dad: Of course, son.

Minwoo: Kamsahamnida appa!

Minwoo happily hung up and called Youngmin.

Youngmin: Yoboseoyo?

Minwoo: Hyung, is it going alright?

Youngmin: It’s going great!

Suddenly he heard your voice in the background.

You: Youngmin! Is that Minwoo?

Youngmin: Umm, this is uhh… my other friend! Aha…

You: Oh…

Youngmin: Well, I have to go now, bye!

Youngmin hung up and Minwoo continued to do what he was doing. (What do you think he’s doing?)

You were with the twins at the party shop getting some balloons. You kept checking your phone to see if Minwoo called or texted.

You: Out of all days, why today? –sigh

Kwangmin: Trust me, I know you’ll have a good day today.

You: Huh?

Kwangmin: It’s the day you were born, it’s an amazing day. Enjoy it!

You and the twins walked around the park. You listened to both of them singing happy birthday to you, although, you still felt something missing, Minwoo. After they sang you happy birthday, you checked your phone, and there was a text from Minwoo. A smile came across your face as you opened it. It said, “Meet at the park tonight at 8.”

You: [8?! Aigoo, why so late? I already want to see him!~] –sigh

Kwangmin, Youngmin, and you hung out for a bit more playing around until sunset, you had to go back home to get ready.

You: Youngmin, Kwangmin, thank you for spending time with me at my birthday!

Youngmin: No problem! It’s a pleasure to be with you!

Kwangmin: You’re welcome. Have fun! ^o^

You smiled and ran quickly as you can to get ready for the night.

You: Hmph, what to wear?

You looked all over your closet to see something.

You: I guess I’ll wear this.

It was a blue dress. You started fixing yourself up. A couple minutes later, you were ready to make your way out.

Your Mother: Where are you going?

You: Oh, I was going with Minwoo tonight.

Your Mother: Is he out there?

You: I’m going to meet him up at the park.

Your Mother: But it’s dangerous!

You:  Mother, I got this. I always walk around late at night. Well, I love you Omma! Bye!

Your Mother: I love you too honey. Be careful and happy birthday!

At the park, you came at exactly 8 and Minwoo wasn’t there yet. No one was there, just you.

The clock became 8:15, still no show, you started feeling down.

You: No, Minwoo wouldn’t leave me hanging…

8:20, you still waited for him. You started tearing up.

You: Minwoo-ah…

Minwoo: Yes?

You quickly looked behind you to see Minwoo. You ran all the way to hug him.

You: Minwoo-ah, I thought you’d leave.

Minwoo: I wouldn’t leave you. Don’t cry, it’s your birthday. It’s the day you were born to make somebody happy, like me.

Minwoo kissed your forehead.
