The Heart never Forgets

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

They all looked outside the Window as soon as they heard Sunny's voice screaming.

"Dad!!" Sandeul called jumping out the couch, worried.

He ran towards the window, jumping up and down. Trying to find his Mommy. "Lwet's go! Swomethwing mwight hawve happwened! That owld man mwight bwe hwurting Mummy!!" He pulled Sungmin up.

"Baby.."

"Cwome on Dad!! Argh! I rweally hate that Ajusshi." he groaned.

Sunmin could only laugh on his Son's actions. He really hates Heechul. He kneeled in front of him cupping his cheeks. "But Mommy said to stay and wait for her. Nothing went wrong, so stop worrying okay? and Heechul hyung is a good friend of ours, He won't hurt Mommy.." he convinced the child. Though he couldn't convince himself. He can sense something is happening. Something is definitely wrong.

"But Dada.." he stomped.

"Stop it Deullie-ah.. you're worrying for nothing. You're overreacting baby. She's fine.. If she's not then she'll call us. So calm down, okay?" he smiled, but it all fades as soon as he looked outside where he last hear Sunny's voice.

What happened? As much as he wants to run towards Sunny and ask what are they talking about he can't. He promised his wife to just wait for them to comeback. Whatever they are talking about is actually giving him chills. I hope they're both okay.

"If he's hwurting mummy.. he'll gwet it! Rwight Dad?" he tugged.

"Of course.." he nodded trying to hide his concern.

He held Sandeul's hand and let him sat on his lap. His head was settled on his chest, as the kid hugged him tight. He looked up at the 2 ladies in front of him sitting on the couch in front of them and smiled. As if sending them his apologies on how his son acted a while ago.

Smiling was the only thing he could do, as he really don't know who are they. Curse Eunhyuk and Donghae who left them with a very awkward atmosphere. Not even telling him who are they.

"You raised him well.." the older of the two said as she walks towards him patting his son's back. "I'm Aunt Mi Sun.. Kyuhyun's Mom and she's your Noona." she pointed the girl who's looking at them. "Ahra noona.." they both smiled. He wondered if that smile would last long, if they could read his mind.

Kyuhyun.. Kyuhyun.. That person have been invading my ears ever since I came here from U.S.A. And all that he and his name did was to annoy me. Can I just live for a day without hearing that name? So annoying!

Without anything said, he just smiled politely to the woman and offered her a seat. It was never awkward to Kyuhyun's Mom, but it is for Sungmin. Staying with them is so suffocating. He don't know what to do or say. Though he had to admit.. it may be awkward and whatnot, but he feel safe and secured.

Mi Sun sat beside him as he smiled towards her, still cradling his son to sleep since it's already time for his afternoon nap.

"I apologize to what my Son did at Heechul's house.. Hee told me about, he really didn't mean it Sungmin-ah.. it's just that.. He was too shock and hurt." She explained which he retorted In the back of his mind. Then what is that to do with me?

"Gwenchanayo.." he smiled.

He saw Ahra was about to hand him something when Sunny and Heechul came to the view, he saw her held back and tried to hide the pink small box and smiled at him. Don't mind me, she mouthed. He could only raise his eyebrows.

They all stayed in their house for a night. Of course it would be a miracle if Heechul and Sandeul won't argue some nonsense while they are eating, they always do that whenever they meet. So he can't say that they sat and ate awkwardly. They all laughed and made some side comments every time.

And all that while, he could see Ahra would attempt to approach him and will turn back as soon as she see Sunny coming. He even saw that glares his wife sent her which made him tap her back.

"Why? what's wrong?" he asked pulling her in a hug which made her yelp a little.

Sunny looked up at him surprised. This was the first time he did it. "Are you Jealous?" he teased tucking her hair behind her ears.

A chuckle surprised Sunny few seconds later. "Why?" she asked.

Sungmin shook his head. "It's just.. It's my first time to see you blushing." Slowly he Carressed Sunny's face tracing the red spots that's evident in her cheeks. "You're pretty.. You don't have to be Jealous Sunny-ah.. You know that I love you, right?"

Blushing more she looked up at his husband. Did he just say I Love You in front of me? she stared at him poker face. Trying to hide the happiness, guilt and pain.

Happiness because ever since he have known about her undoing.. He said he hated her and even after his amnesia, she never heard him saying he loves her. Even on their anniversaries, lonely nights and even on their wedding day. She sometimes wonder if he's really suffering from amnesia or what.. but she knows better than that. Hearing it from his mouth, she must have felt happiness right? But guilt is also there. Trying to make her mad to herself. So is pain.. because he never mean it. And never will be. I Love You, you say.. But your eyes aren't saying the same thing. I could feel your heart beating, but not for me. You Love him still, don't you? Even after what he did. Even after he left you. Even after you forgot about him and your lovestory.. you still love him. I Know.. I know you won't feel the same way for me.. She wants to say it out loud, but she's afraid to hear the answer even though its written all over his eyes. 

"Why do you look so surprised?" he asked in a soothing voice.

"You said you love me.." she was tearing up, yet she tried to control her voice. 

"Yeah.." he stated, now confused. "so? you're my wife.. Is it wrong to say I Love You to my wife?" he said playfully.

"Yeah.. right.." she smiled bitterly, with sarcasm in her tone yet he didn't notice it. I'm just your wife that's why you said that.. never because I'm your partner but because I'm your wife. Your son's mother.. Just that.. And never 'I Love You because I Love You'.. Never will be. 

A lone tear drops from her eye as soon as he pulled her again in his embrace.. That there's one thing she's sure of. It's time to let him go.
