Chapter 6

Kim EunMi's Point of View

The next day…

Friday

        “EUNMI! WAKE UP!!” Minki was yelling.

        “Ahh! I’m so tired!” I grabbed a pillow.

        “Jonghyun, you can kiss her now.” My eyes shot open so I yelled.

        “Jonghyun, if you kiss me one more time, I’ll kill you!” I grabbed a pillow and was ready to fight but he wasn’t there.

        “Hahah.. Noona, you’re soo gullible!! Hahaha!!” Minki laughed so I slapped him.

        “Yah! Get out of my room!” I pushed him.

        “Okay! Geez, waking you up in the mornings are so difficult. Next time, I should call Jonghyun to wake you up instead..” Minki yelled loud enough for me to hear. I changed my clothes and slammed the door open.

        “If you do that I’m going to kill you!” I ran downstairs.

I ate breakfast and said “goodbye” to my Omma. My Appa woke up early to go to work so I couldn’t say “goodbye” to him. Minki and I walked to school.   

        “Noona, are you ready to go to college?” He asked.

        “Nervous.. Ahh!! I can’t believe it’s my last days here in high school.” I stretched my arms.

        “So what’s going to happen to you and Jonghyun.” Minki wondered.

*Oh right! After I graduate, I probably won’t have a chance to see him anymore! Now he won’t bother me!*

        “Noona, watch out!” Minki yelled.

I came back to reality but as soon as I came back I had hit a pole.

        “Aish! That hurt!” I felt blood coming out my nose.

        “Noona!” Minki ran to me. I covered my nose and stood up.

        “I’m fine. I’m fine.” I kept covering my nose.

        “Noona, you’re so clumsy.. You’re going to hurt yourself one day because you’re so clumsy.” Minki said

        “Whatever!” I slapped his head.

        “We’re going to be late for school. So let’s hurry up.” We both ran. I kept running covering my nose.

As soon as we arrived, I ran straight for the bathroom. I washed my hands then my face. After I fixed myself, I walked out of the bathroom. I quietly walked to the classroom and sat on my assigned seat. I thought I was late but I guess I was early. I looked out the window. I heard girls’ screaming and that’s when I knew Jonghyun was near. I sighed and said

        “Here he comes again.”

        “EunMi!” He opened the door.    

        “Oh anneyong..” I sighed.

        “Aren’t you happy to see me?” Jonghyun asked.

        “Why should I? I’ve seen you everyday ever since you kissed me on that day..” I kept saying.

        “Oh yeah.. Hahaha… Here I got something for you.” He gave me a letter.I opened it and I rubbed my eyes. It was a scholarship to a university. A really good university.

        “T-this is actually for me?!” I was so shocked.

        “Yeah.” I jumped up and started dancing.   

        “But there’s a catch.” He smiled

        “W-what?” I asked.

        “You have to be my girlfriend.” I froze.

        “WHAT?!” I yelled.

        “It’s that or no university…” He smiled.

        “Wait.. How did you know I wanted to go to a university?” I asked.

        “Your brother.” Jonghyun kept smiling.

*That’s perfect… I knew it was too good to be true… Why me?!*

        “Did you really have to make me pick?!” I wanted to pull my hair out.

        “Yes. So what is it?” He smiled.

*I don’t want to be his girlfriend but if it means I get to go to a university.. I guess I have no choice..*

        “Fine.” I pouted.

        “So from now on.. You are my girlfriend, araso?” He said

        “Araso..” I said.

        “I’ll announce it to everyone.” He was about to leave when I yelled.

        “NO!!” I grabbed his arm and was about to fall. He caught me.

        “Aww… you’re so cute. You’re so clumsy.” I stood up and face turned red.

        “I just tripped on one of the desks.” My face was red.

        “Your face is so red. So cute!” he pinched my cheeks.

        “Stop it! I’m not a baby!” I slapped his hands.

        “I know you’re not a baby. You’re my baby.” He kissed me on the nose.

        “Yah! Stop kissing me!” I wiped my nose.

        “Hahah! You know you like it!” He winked.

        “Shut up!” I slapped his arm.

        “You’re so adorable.” He hugged me real tight.

        “I-I c-can’t b-breathe J-jonghyun!” I was gasping for air.

        “Oh..” he started to let go.

        “Gosh I hate you~” I sat down on my desk.

        “I love you too~” He kissed me on the cheek.

They both met in high school and are going to go into college soon~ I forgot to put that. Hahah!! Yeah, they didn’t like know each other until the day Jonghyun finally noticed her. I hope I didn’t confuse you guys.
