Chapter 25

EunMi’s point of View

Jonghyun held my hand as we walked along with Yoogeun.

        “Do you have to hold my hand? What if some SHINee fans randomly attack me?” I blew a strand of my hair.

        “No they won’t because I’ll protect you.” He smiled.

        “Whatever…” I rolled my eyes.

        “Omma? Appa?” We both looked at Yoogeun.

        “Can we go there?” He pointed to the playground.

        “Okay, let’s go.” We all started walking towards the playground.

Yoogeun played on the slide with Jonghyun while I was on the swings. I heard my phone ringing. It was a text from Taeyeon.

Did you have fun? Did you do anything bad? Was it alright?

She’s always worrying about me..

No, Taeyeon. Jonghyun me! I’m so sorry.

EunMi ^_^

After I sent the text, a few minutes later.

CAUSE I LOVE YOU~ CAUSE I NEED YOU~
 

        “Yoboseyo.” I answered.

        “EUNMI, ARE YOU ALRIGHT!!! WHAT HAPPENNED?! I THOUGHT YOU SAID HE WAS A GOOD GUY!!” Taeyeon was on major panic mode.

        “Taeyeon.. calm down… I was just kidding.. Everything went fine.” I laughed.

        “Alright… Make sure you tell the truth.. because you make me worry a lot…” I felt guilty.

        “I’m sorry, I’ll tell the truth next time.” I tried to make Taeyeon better.

        “Okay, thanks EunMi. Be a good girl! I have to go now. My boss is coming.”

        “Alright, bye!” I hung up.

        “BOO!” I jumped when I saw Jonghyun laughing at me.

        “Geez, you just had to scare the heck out of me.”  

        “Oh.. I’m sorry, baby!” He wrapped his arms around my neck.

        “It’s alright, stop calling me baby!” I glared at him.

        “Okay, honey!” He sat on the swing next to me.

        “Aish...” I did a face palm.

        “OMMA!! APPA!!” We both looked at Yoogeun who was going to slide down the slide.

        “YOOGEUN WAIT!!!” We yelled in harmony.

I ran to the end of the slide while Jonghyun went up with Yoogeun.

        “Here we go!” Jonghyun slid down the slide while carrying Yoogeun.

        “Whoo!” I yelled.

Yoogeun was smiling.

In the end of the day, Jonghyun, Yoogeun, and I had fun at the park. We even had ice cream.

        “Ahh! I’m so tired!” I stretched my arms.

        “Shh! Yoogeun’s sleeping.” Jonghyun shushed me.

        “Sorry. Aww… he’s so cute!”

        “Not as cute as you!” Jonghyun whispered.

        “You’re so cheesy!” I smiled.

        “Hahah! I know!! Oh wait you smiled at me!” I looked at him.

        “Huh?” I tilted my head.

        “This is the first time you smiled at me!!” He smiled.

        “Pshh! So what.. I smiled at you.. big deal!” I threw my chin.

        “I knew it, you love me!” He started teasing me.

        “Shut up! Your big mouth is going to wake up Yoogeun!” I whispered.

        “You love me~ You love me~ You love me~” He sang.

        “BLEH!” I stuck out my tongue.

For the rest of the way, Jonghyun kept teasing me. I was so annoyed I kept quiet until Yoogeun was in his room.

        “Cause you love me~ Cause you need me~” He followed me.

        “Yah! You know you better stop or I’ll hurt you!” I glared at him.

        “Okay, I’ll stop if you go on a date with me!”

*Not again… A deal to kiss him and now a deal to go on a date with him… How many deals can you possibly make?*

        “NO! I’m going to go home.” I started to pack my things.

        “I’ll bother you until you say “yes”.” Jonghyun wasn’t kidding.

After I left, he kept bothering me about going on a date with him for days. If he didn’t see me then he’ll text me or call me. He seriously called everyday.. For example…

3:00 A.M.

Cause I love you~ Cause I need you~

        “Yoboseyooo…” I answered.

        “EunMi, go on a date with me~” Jonghyun sang.

        “Aish! Really?! Did you really have to call at 3 a.m. in the MORNING WHEN I’M SLEEPING!!!” I yawned.

        “I told you, I won’t bother you until you say “yes”.” How could Jonghyun be awake at this time?

        “NO! How come your awake at this time?” I asked.

        “Because.. I can’t sleep..” Jonghyun sighed.

        “The answer is “No”. NOW LET ME SLEEP!” I hung up then turned off my phone.

One day at work…

SHINee was practicing Ring Ding Dong and Jojo. I was sitting in the practice room organizing papers.

        “EUNMI!! Go on a date with me!” He yelled after done with practice.

        “EunMi, please go on a date with him. He really wants you to go on a date with you..” Minho sighed.

        “PLEASE NOONA!!” Taemin was on his knees.

        “Please EunMi, Jonghyun is getting annoying about the whole date thing!” Onew begged.

        “EunMi, please say “yes”.” Key smiled.

        “If I say “yes” will you stop calling me in the morning?” I asked.

        “Yes! I promise!” His eyes started to sparkle because he knew what I was going to say “yes”>

        “Yes Jonghyun, I will go on a date with you…” I sighed.

Jonghyun hugged me then kissed my cheek.

        “EunMi, you won’t regret this! I promise to give you the best date!” He was so excited, it made me smile a little.

        “Whatever…” I hid my face to hide my smile. It didn’t work.

        “EUNMI’S SMILING AT ME AGAIN!!!!” Jonghyun clapped.

        “Yay! Omma!” Yoogeun clapped also.

*This better be good… I’m excited in the inside but I don’t want to show it because Jonghyun’s going to tease me again..*

        “Come on.. say it!” He poked me.

        “No.” I answered.

        “You have to say it eventually!” He pouted.

        “No..” I sighed.

        “EunMi, just say “I love you!”. It’s not that hard!” He poked me.

        “No..” Jonghyun kept teasing me.

*It’s too late… He’s already teasing me…*
