[[JIJI'S POV]]

Saturday morning ~

It was wednesday when Hyosung visited me because I was sick.

I have to admit, I was touched because of what she did.

This is the first time in my life that somebody visited me because I was sick.

Maybe because my grandparents at my mother's side are strict that none of my friends, either Paruru or Youngjae can enter my house.

So this is the feeling of having a friend who really cares for you.

I woke up 6 in the morning because I am planning to visit my grandparents at my father's side.

I took a bath and wore a gray tshirt and short shorts. I tied my hair into pigtail

I brought some things like camera,my cellphone,wallet,box of tissues and some snacks that I have put in my bag. Just the things I usually bring.

When I got out of my room, my dad is drinking his coffee in the kitchen while reading a newspaper and he saw me.

"You're up so early, whats the matter ? It is Saturday" he chuckled

"Yeah I know. Tss, I just want to visit grandma and grandpa." I looked at the full- length mirror beside my door's room and fixed myself

"Want me to accompany you ?" He looked at me and put the newspaper on the table

"Nah, I want to visit by myself. It's been years" I managed to smile a little

Grandma, Grandpa, I am back.

Jiji's grandparents at her father's side are the closest to her especially her grandma. Maybe because she lived with them until her parents got divorced because of the reason that she doesnt know until now. She used to sleep between her grandma and grandpa before. They're the persons she wanted to be with forever. She used to say before that she wont marry and take care of her grandparents but her mom took her to Japan. Her life is really unfair.

"I'm going now dad. Bye" I went to my dad and kissed him on his cheeks and went out of the apartment.

"Take care on your way" He said before I closed the door

I decided to go to the nearest flower shop to buy halmeoni's favorite flower. I entered the shop and saw a familiar face

"Zelo ?" Zelo bowed politely when he saw me

I bowed back

"What are you doing here ? Urmm obviously going to buy flower" He answered his own question and rubbed the back of his neck and smiled shyly

I think this is the first time I saw him smile and my heart is beating really fast.

Wait, why is my heart beating really really fast ?

"Yeah. Im going to buy it for my grandparents. And you ?" I smiled back shyly

"My mom asked me to buy it" He smiled

I bowed and went to get the white roses.

When I paid it, Zelo got out of the flower shop already.

"Is he your boyfriend ?" The woman who is putting the white roses into the box asked me

"Urmm, no. Wait, yes" I scratched my head

I dont know what to answer

The woman just laughed and told me to take care and "long lasts with your boyfriend" so I bowed and got out holding the box

I took the bus and walked into it.

Some few walks and I will reach it.

Finally, I reached their place.

"Grandma, Grandpa, it's been years huh ? How are you there ?" I sat beside their tombs.

Yes, tombstones. They died when Jiji was staying in Japan. Her grandpa died first, maybe because of its age. Her grandpa died at the age of 79. Upon hearing that news, Jiji had to move from Japan. Jiji was 13 years old at that time. And when she was 14, her grandma died at the age of 75 because of loneliness. And again, Jiji had to move temporarily. When she moved back to Japan, she was half dead and half living. Her mom could barely talk to her. 

I took out my camera and took a selca with their tombs. I felt a tear has made its way. I wiped it but I cant take it anymore. Tears fell. I cried in front of my grandparents. I always do this before, but it is entirely different now. I cried in front of my grandparents' worried faces before, but now I am crying in front of their tombs. If I could take them back, I will. 

"Halmeoni, Harabeoji, Did you wait for me ? Im back" Jiji managed to smile and speak despite her non-stopping tears

"Is it lonely here ? I think it is because it is so quiet! Harabeoji, you miss your radio ?" She smiled again, remembering how much her grandpa loves listening to radio.

Jiji wiped her tears away and cleaned her grandparents' tombs using the tissues she brought. She stayed there talking to her grandparents and remembering the times when they were still alive.

*FLASHBACK*

"Halmeoni ~! Harabeoji ~! I promise that I wont leave the both of you ~! I wont marry just to take care of you !" The 8-year old Jiji proudly told her grandparents while they were eating the food her halmeoni cooked.

Her parents and grandparents laughed

"You should get married but dont think about it for now since youre just 8 years old." Her mom said while shaking its head

"Yes. And being in love will change your world. You will become happier" Her harabeoji who is sitting beside her patted her head

"Hmmm" Her halmeoni just smiled and her harabeoji kissed her in its cheeks

"Hey the child is watching us!" Her halmeoni complained

Everybody including her just giggled.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"I really miss you both. I'll get going now halmeoni and harabeoji. Take care of each other okay ? Saranghamnida" And I went home having the pain I usually feel when I remember them.
