Jessica's POV

 

I looked at her in disbelief "excuse me“ I said in a cold tone, leaving her at the door.

"I'll wait“ I heard her voice before I went back to the kitchen.

Everybody started to clean up, the bartender sent me to the VIP Section again. Yuri's gone. The bottles are empty. It was already dawn as I finished with everything. Do-shii bowed a little to me and thanked me for covering up. I bowed back and said goodbye.

I changed my clothes and put on my jacket. I took a deep breath after I left the club. I decided to walk back. It's not that far, it might take me about 30 minutes but I think fresh air is good to clean up my mind about what I saw.

She's not yours anymore, Jung Sooyeon. Forget her. My brain tried to tell me that, but no matter how much I know that it's true, my heart is still aching.

"Jessica Jung!“ I heard a familiar voice from behind. I lifted my eyebrow as I saw the crazy shikskin from earlier. I can tell that she's harmless, she's not that kind of a weirdo but still, who confesses to a girl after 5 minutes of knowing her?

"So?“ She asked

"What?“

"I asked you a question and I want an answer“ she looked at me with her big innocent eyes. She took out a bar of snickers and took a bite at it while I still looked at her in disbelief.

"You seriously want me to believe that you were serious with that question?“

"Well, I am“

"You don't even know me“

"I know I like you“

"You don't even know if I already have someone else“

"You don't" she said in a matter of a fact tone "The way you cried earlier, it could only come from a heartbreak“

I didn't say a word.

"I'm right,aren't I?“ She said "I always knew that I have a six sense. I just wonder why it never works with the lottery..“ She mumbled to herself.

"You're crazy“ I said and left her.

"W—What? Hey wait. I'm not crazy, well I am, in a way. But not that psycho crazy kind of crazy you know. I just listen to my heart and we live only once. I liked you the second I saw you. Why can I not tell you that?“

"Because it's creepy“

"Aissh, I'm a bit crazy but not creepy. Should we know each other a little bit better? Okay. My name is Choi Sooyoung, I'm an only child, I'm 25, an artist. I paint. Mrs. Kwon likes my paintings, she's a regular at my gallery and she buys my paintings for Kwon's offices. I may not be rich but I earn enough. I'm biual but I like girls more. My last girlfriend dumped me for a richer woman. Enough information?“

"Too much“ I snapped.

"I'm a good person, Jessica Jung. I'm not complicated, I say what I feel. Wait, you should know my bad side too. Let's see.. I'm a bit dense, I'm not romantic. If you want something, just say it directly to me. I eat a lot. With a lot, I mean a lot. I don't get fat“

"Listen, Choi Sooyoung“ I glared at her "Who you are is something I don't care about and I don't give a damn. And no, I don't want to be your girlfriend“

I was giving her my famous ice princess look, most of the people would whimper and go away but this girl, she was smiling as if me being mad is something very amusing.

"Wow, you look so y when you're mad like that. Oh God, I want to kiss you right now. But I won't because you shouldn't kiss on your first date“
