Jiyeong’s phone started ringing. She turns around and took it from the nightstand. She looks at it, Jimin.

“I’m not answering your calls anymore.” She mutters to herself and ignored it.

Her phone keeps on ringing and she finally snap. She pulled out the battery from her phone and threw it into her drawer.

“Jiyeong? Can I come in?” Haera asked and knocked on the door.

“Yeah, sure.” She said and opened the door.

“Umm… I’m not sure how to ask this but…”

“Yes?”

“Who wanted you to do all those stuff?” Haera asked and Jiyeong flinched.

“I… I can’t tell you.” She said and looked down.

“Jiyeong…” Haera said but Jiyeong looked away.

“Okay… What about your family?”

“I have no family.”

“But you said that they….”

“It was all lies.” Jiyeong said, tears are already forming in her eyes.

“I’m sorry…” Haera said when she saw Jiyeong crying.

“It’s alright.”

“Tell me more about yourself.” Haera said.

Jiyeong sighed. “It all started when I woke up in the hospital. I didn’t know who am I, I don’t remember anything.”

“Nothing at all?”

“I only know that my name is Jiyeong. I don’t even remember what my last name was.”

“But you said you were Park Jiyeong?”

“It was all made up Haera.” Jiyeong said and looked at Haera.

“Oh right… Continue…”

“I can’t tell you.”

“Jiyeong...” Haera said and grabbed Jiyeong’s shoulders. “Listen to me. We can help you. You can forget about them and just come and live with us.”

“Can I really?” She asked.

Haera smiled and let go. “Of course! You’re family now.” She said.

“Haera, I’m sorry… I really am.”

“There’s no need to apologize anymore.” Haera said. “Now, tell me everything. We’ll solve this together. I know we will.”

Jiyeong hesitated for a while.

“Jiyeong?”

“I’ll tell you everything.” She said after a long pause.

“Where have you been?” Sehun asked when he saw Haera sitting on his bed, her eyes wide open and she’s staring into blank. “Haera?” He poked her arm and she turned.

“Huh? Oh when did you get back?”

“I was here the whole time.” Sehun said. “What are you thinking?”

“Oh ah… I was just thinking of what Jiyeong told me.” She replied.

“What did she told you?”

“Oppa… Jimin…”

“We agree to not talk about her.” Sehun said and stares at Haera.

“Just listen.” She said and pokes his cheeks.

“Okay okay…” Sehun pouted.

“She is the one behind all this.” Haera said.

“Are you serious?” Sehun asked, his expression serious.

“Yeah… Jiyeong told me everything.” Haera sighed. “She told me that she doesn’t have family. Jimin and Yoojun found her and sent her to the hospital. The doctor said that she had lost all her memory from a brain damage and she was lucky to be found by Jimin and Yoojun.”

“Wait, what? So she’s like basically working for the two of them?” Sehun asked.

Haera shook her head. “Not the two of them, only Jimin. Yoojun knows nothing about this.”

“But why? Isn’t Jimin in rehab now?”

“Yeah but Jimin found her months before she was sent into rehab.”

“If this is all about revenge, I swear…”

“Oppa, it’s not good to curse.” Haera said.

Sehun smiled and pinched Haera’s cheeks. “Okay, I won’t.” He said.

“She also said that Jimin would lock her up if she didn’t do exactly what she said.” Haera said with a sad look in her eyes.

“Poor Jiyeong, and I use to hate her so much.” Sehun said.

“Promise me, from today onwards, we should treat her like our own family.”

“Yeah… We should.” Sehun nodded. “Anyway….” Sehun turned and gave Haera a back hug.

“What?”

“Christmas is coming!” Sehun said and smiled happily.

“And?”

“That means a lot! We can do a lot of things.”

“What do you want to do?” Haera asked.

“Everything, from shopping to cooking to snuggling.” He said and Haera chuckled.

“Try not to burn down the kitchen this time.” Sehun said and Haera pouted.

“It was not my fault.” Haera said.

“Oh right. Did you ask Jiyeong about that incident?”

“I didn’t ask, but she told me that she’s the one that puts the gasoline there.” Haera said.

“Hmm…”

“Let’s just forget about that.” Haera said and Sehun nodded.

“You’re right. We should.” He said and laughed.

“Should we go out?”

“It’s cold.” Haera whined.

“Let’s go get ddeokbokki.”

“It’s cold!” Haera said again.

“I’m here, I’ll be your personal wind blocker.” Sehun said and the both of them laughed.

“Oppa, what is a wind blocker?” Haera asked while laughing.

“I don’t know… I just thought of it.”

“Arasseo, let’s go for ddeokbokki.” Haera said and Sehun cheered.

“We can get ice cream too.”

“But it’s cold!”
