Kibum awoke to find someone hugging him from behind. He craned his neck to see who it was. It was Heechul.

" Eh??? Heechul hyung. Hyung. Hyung, wake up. ", called Kibum as he shook Heechul's hand gently.

" Mmmmh..... ", murmured Heechul as his grip on Kibum's waist tightened a little.

" Hyung...wake up... ", said Kibum softly as he gently patted Heechul's cheeks.

" Hmmm? What? ", muttered Heechul as he woke up drowsily.

" Annyeonghaseyo, Heechul hyung. ", Kibum smiled his cute, boyish smile.

" Uhh? Oh. Annyeonghaseyo, Kibum-ah. ", smiled Heechul.

" I thought you'd be sleeping in your own bed, hyung. ", Kibum asked.

" Ani. I just wanted to keep you company. ", said Heechul as he flashed a sweet grin.

Kibum sat up and stretched his arms. Heechul ruffled his own hair. Suddenly, the both of them heard a loud grumble.

" What was that? ", laughed Kibum.

" I don't know. ", lied Heechul although he knew it was his stomach.

Heechul's stomach grumbled again, but louder this time.

" Don't lie, hyung. It's your stomach grumbling, isn't it? ", asked Kibum grinning widely.

" Fine, fine! It is my stomach! ", said poor Heechul in embarrassment.

" You're hungry, aren't you? ", Kibum asked.

" Ne. ", answered Heechul.

Heechul wanted blood, particularly Kibum's. But he was too afraid to ask him. He was afraid that Kibum wouldn't let him or he would tell the others. So, he bared his fangs and was just about to pierce his own flesh when Kibum stuck his wrist in Heechul's mouth instead.

Heechul was so surprised that he accidentally sank his fangs into Kibum's flesh. Kibum winced slightly.

" You can eat my blood. You don't have to eat your own. ", smiled Kibum.

" Ani! I'll have my own! ", said Heechul as he tried to retract his fangs from Kibum's wrist.

" Go ahead and eat. I don't mind. ", smiled Kibum warmly.

Reluctantly, Heechul ate, but he ate very little. Kibum didn't seem to mind. He just stared at Heechul.

" He's so....beautiful in a way.... ", thought Kibum as he smiled mentally.

" Huh? How am I beautiful, Kibum-ah? ", asked Heechul suddenly with his mouth full of blood.

Kibum gave a scream and almost fainted. Blood was slowly trickling down Heechul's chin.

" Oops. ", mumbled Heechul as he wiped his mouth and chin clean.

" So sorry 'bout that. ", apologized Heechul as he the excess blood up from Kibum's wrist and healed the bite mark.

" How....did you know what I was...thinking? ", asked Kibum shakily.

" Vampires can mind read. ", answered Heechul.

" I see. But, Heechul hyung, can you tell me why you vampires aren't allowed to tell anyone else your identity? ", asked Kibum out of curiousity.

" Well, the world mustn't know that vampires exist. We prefer to keep our existence a secret. If people knew vampires exist, the world would be in panic and the stupid human government would start arresting every innocent people on the block, accuse them to be vampires without infallible proof and then kill them. No offense calling your government stupid, but it's what would happen. ", answered Heechul.

" Nah, it's okay, hyung. Sometimes, I feel that the government is stupid to falsely accuse people of things that they most probably never did. ", shrugged Kibum.

" You....do....? ", asked a shocked Heechul.

" Ne. The government can be a bit unfair at times. ", sighed Kibum as he plonked himself on his pillow.

Heechul smiled. It was pretty unlikely for a human to take the same stand as him.

" And I thought all humans were stupid! ", thought Heechul as he twiddled his fingers absent-mindedly.

" So,....are you full already, hyung? ", Kibum asked, trying to change the topic.

" Ne. Gomawo. ", smiled Heechul gratefully.

Kibum returned his smile and went out of the bedroom. Heechul felt a smile spread across his lips.

" I find your blood.....irresistible, Bummie. If only you knew how your blood drives me crazy..... ", thought Heechul.
