Jonghyun's POV

Blood.

It splattered around me, the red liguid coating my bare chest, clinging on my skin. Pools of red dripped from my muscles, drenching my hair.
Behind my eyelids, I could see it all happening.

The pain.

The blood.

The sense of a soul leaving it's body.

Except...

... Except it wasn't happening to me.

The death... it wasn't mine. Cautiously, I opened my eyes, afraid of what I'd see.

GD's lifeless body fell in front of my feet, a gaping hole in the middle of his chest, his eyes wide. And behind him, stood Key, a gun pointing at his dying body. Like an angel, he lowered the gun and tossed at the ground.

"JONGHYUN!" He screamed, jumping at me. He engulfed me in a massive hug, tears streaming down his cheeks, dripping down my shoulders,, mixing with GD's blood.

I was frozen in shock. Had Key...? Was GD really...?

Dead?

"Key..." I began, holding his shaking body. "What...?"

He pulled away and looked me with watery eyes, his cheeks puffy. "I couldn't... I read your note and followed you, I found your car and the mud tracked your footprints..." He sobbed, his hand at his mouth.

"I saw him holding a gun to you... I didn't know what to do." His voice breaking. I couldn't let him kill. I couldn't let you die. What have I done?!" He cried.

"Key... baby..." I began. He'd killed someone. Scratch that, he'd killed someone for me.

"I'm so sorry... Forgive me." His voice wavered.

I stopped his hair. "Forgive you?" I asked, utterly confused. I could feel the reality of the situation dawning on me.

"I killed someone... I'm insane, nobody takes a life..." He began. "Nobody takes a life... And doesn't feel guilty about it afterwards." He whispered into my neck.

"Key. You saved my life. You killed the enemy. You killed someone who was willing to take far more many lives than one, a mass-murder. One second later, and I'd be the dead one". I murmured, the shock fading. I realized the truth in my own words. If not for Key, I'd be dead, as in not alive, as in on the floor. Lifeless. A corpse.

"I owe you my life" I said softly.

"I love you"

Taemin's POV

We all stood there, Onew me and Minho, witnessing the (For us: awkward) Jongkey lovey moment pass.

I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Key had just commited the biggest sacrifice known in history; killing for the one you love, proving how much he really loved Jonghyun. Proving how much he was capable of loving someone.

A selfish part of me wondered if there was even the smallest chance of the same happening between me and Minho. My eyes instantly flickered over to him. He stood on in the middle of the mud, some of the blood having been splashed in his face, staring at what was left of GD.

His eyes clouded, his hand limp in mine, his mind miles away.

What are you thinking? I wanted to ask.

I couldn't place that look in his eyes. A mixuture of pain, regret, remorse and sadness.

Was he mourning the death of a friend? Was he feeling grief, suffering?

Was he feeling relief?

"He's dead" He whispered, his voice empty of any emotion. I could see the shock on his face, open like a book.

I squeezed his hand and turned to look at him. His eyes shifted from the body to mine, his eyes searching for answers.

I wanted to say something, make this better. Say something comforting, bring some light to the situation.

But I couldn't.

No words could bring any good now.

Instead I put my hands behind his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.

A kiss to make it better. A kiss that could speak more words than any language. I felt him hesitate, his trembling hands placing themselves at my hips, drawing me closer, the kiss becoming more passionate.

I could taste his tears as they fell, entwining in our embrace.

"He's really dead!" He whispered, smiling, once we pulled back for oxgyen. I smiled back at him, happiness exploding in my chest. He doesn't mourn for him! He isn't devestated that his "master" has died. He's... Glad. But most of all:

He doesn't care more for GD than me.

"I love you" He whispered, pulling me in for another kiss. I practically feel his love embrace me, like a warm fire spreading around my body.

"I love you too" I whispered back, tears of happiness streaming down my cheeks.

A/N: *Tears running down my cheeks* There's no words that could help me get the emotional part across in all this, but I tried, Ok? I really did. *Sniffles*

NO THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY!!!!!! This is just the emotional part since I haven't included any so far (that didn't involve anger, I mean) There is still a bit more to come.

But since the end IS coming up SOMEWHAT SOON-ISH, I have been conisdering what to do once this one's finished (Besides starting Animal Love in 5 days, as most of you already know). I will probobly release a poll later one (If I understand how to make one, that is ;)
