And right now, right here, is you. An arms length away in front of me barely knowing I exist.

I sigh as I let my hand doodle across my physics book. I knew about the works if stars anyway, I'd ace this test like the one before, and the one before that, and the one before that. The sun was streaming in through one of the open classroom windows, creating a much more happier atmosphere than my mood resembled. I'd love nothing more than chuck this book at the closest idiot (being quiet a few to pick from), run outside and sprawl myself across the grass, feel the sun on my face.

"" someone next to me whispered, watching me draw a smiling cat drinking banana milk. I stiffened, turned around to see who it was. Of course it had to be Ji-yong, or "GD", as some calls him. The leader bully, only to be supported by his best friend Minho. Me being the guy who you can always go to when stuck on homework, was generally on everybody's good side, but some idiots just don't seem to see it quite like that. I turned around again, knowing I'd have my head shoved down the toilet , lunch money stolen and bag tossed if I even looked at him wrong, a rule which seemed to go for anyone at this eternal hellhole known as school.

The bell rang, and everybody dashed for the door. Finally, the day was over. Only a few stayed behind to ask our teacher (whose name I'd forgotten, again) about today's lesson. Time to go out and enjoy the sunshine I thought. I slowly packed away my things, straightened my uniform and left the room. Punctual as usual, my best friend stood outside waiting for me.

"Took your time" Jonghyun said, leaning against the wall. I smiled as I walked up to him. "A person is never late uh unless the meeter decides to be early" I replied. "Yeah, yeah, save your wisdom words for my English homework I need help with later". He said, with a pathetic attempt at puppy eyes. Unlike the others, I knew Jonghyun would still be at my side after I'd helped him get 100% on his homework. We started walking out towards main doors leading outside. I'd never liked my school, but my best friends seemed to make it bearable.

"TAEMIN-AH!!!!" A pink haired bunny bounched towards me. Everybody along the corridors looked over at Key who jumped around like he didn't have a care it the world, which to be fair, he probably didn't. he'd earned his nickname as the schools "weirdo" long ago and made sure  everyday to live up to it. His bunny ears sat crooked on his head as he was smiling, small cloud tail was taped at the back of his jeans.

"Key... What the hell?" Jonghyun asked.

"Ssh! These ears and these hips just got me an A in drama!" Key practically sang, swaying his hips to a beat only he could hear.

"That's great babe, but schools over, so you might wanna take them off?" Jonghyun said. I recognized Jonghyun careful choice of words. A single mistake might cause him silent treatment for at least a week. Key's smiling face turned into a frown, followed by a pout.

"You're ashamed to be seen with me. I get it." And with that he turned his heel (like seriously, an actual heel. He was wearing cowboy boots for christ sake!")

"Noo.." Jonghyun said. But it was too late, Key was already stalking down the hall in loud sobs. He turned to be with an apologetic look before chasing after him.

It wasn't strange for Key too overreact like this, he'd done it countless times before. And every time Jonghyun would chase aftrer him and they'd kiss and make up. By the next day it was as if nothing had ever happened, and everything would be back to usual. Nobody actually knew the relationship between them two, but it was clear they were more than friends.it was one of them things people accepted with questioning, which happened about once in a lifetime at our nosy school.

A sharp jab on my shoulder stopped my train of thought. I turned around and saw Onew smiling at me. 

"Them two arguing again?" He asked with an expressionless face, looking over where Jonghyun was battling with the crowd to reach Key.

"Yeah..." I answered. Jonghyun was going to be my ride to home, but from the looks of things, I had a long walk ahead of me.

"I'll walk home with you... Arraso? He said. 

"Ne, Onew hyung!" I smiled at him. He grabbed my hand as we started walking through the school gates.
