Resolve
HopelessYunho's hands were curled into fists. He was breathing heavily with anger as he stared at the man lying on the hospital bed. The man's arm was secured in a cast, nursing the bullet wound on his shoulder. Yunho wanted the men to suffer; the bulltet to a shoulder just wasn't enough. Yunho tried his hardest to keep his emotions under control, but he was finding it harder and harder to do by the second.
"I made a promise to Changmin that if I ever met you, saw you, anything...I'd kill you right then and there," Yunho muttered, his teeth clenched. "I want to kill you right now. I want to kill you with my bare hands. I want to wrap my hands around your neck, and watch in satisfaction as you slowly suffocate." Yunho felt his hands shaking. He sighed. "I just want you dead."
"And what's stopping you?" JinSuk asked, no emotion was shown. Yunho's sentiments didn't surprise him. He was sure that everyone Changmin had ever come in contact with hated him and wanted to see him die.
He couldn't understand why. He loved Changmin more than any of them ever would.
"Changmin needs me," Yunho answered. He knew he'd go to jail if he even hurt JinSuk. Society wouldn't miss a man like JinSuk, but Yunho knew that killing the man would still get him in trouble. "I'll let the law punish you," Yunho said, coming closer to JinSuk in a threatening matter.
JinSuk smiled at Yunho. "When will Minnie-"
"Don't call him that," Yunho quickly said.
JinSuk shrugged at the command. "Fair enough," he replied. "When will Changmin wake up?"
Yunho pursed his lips at the question. Changmin would wake up soon. The maknae had been showing signs all day. Yunho felt bad for not being there right now, for fear that Changmin would wake up alone. "I don't know," Yunho finally answered.
"Have him see me when he does," JinSuk said.
Yunho simply scoffed at the man's ridiculous request. He couldn't believe that man would actually expect him to do that. "Not gonna happen," he said, folding his arms over his chest. "Get this through your head. Changmin is safe away from you. From now on, don't even think about getting close to Min."
JinSuk smiled, even causing Yunho to shiver a little. "Is he really safe from me?" JinSuk challenged. "Even if I'm locked up or killed, would Changmin be safe from me?"
Yunho looked at him in confusion. "What are you-"
"Will there ever be a day where Changmin won't have a nightmare about me?" JinSuk asked, answering Yunho's unfinished question. "He's scared of me. Terrified, even. He may be physically out of my grasp, but in his head, he's still my prisoner. He'll be mine forever, even if I'm not there."
Yunho didn't want to think of the possibility of what JinSuk said might actually come true. Yunho knew that the best way to help Changmin is to stay optimistic about everything. "You must not know Changmin at all," Yunho said confidently. "He's not below you and he never will be."
JinSuk scoffed, not believing in Yunho's determination. "He's woken up screaming in fear, hasn't he?" he asked, as if he already knew the answer. "He was too afraid to even leave home. He's too afraid to do anything useful, isn't he?"
"Shut up," Yunho said.
"You should have seen him the day I found him at the mall," JinSuk continued, as if he were taunting Yunho. "The way he was shaking as I held him in my arms-"
"Shut up," Yunho said again, trying to control his temper.
"He looked like an angel after he passed out," JinSuk said, ignoring Yunho's requests. "I wanted to take him right then and there."
"Stop!" Yunho yelled.
"Just getting to feel him. Touch him as he slept-"
"I SAID SHUT UP!" Yunho yelled.
JinSuk smirked as he watched Yunho breathed heavily with anger. "Face it," he said after a few seconds of silence. "Changmin isn't just beneath me. He's buried six feet under."
JinSuk was testing Yunho, he saw that right away. Sadly, the man was winning. Yunho needed to leave this place, for the good of himself, JinSuk, and most importantly, Changmin.
"You know what's funny?" JinSuk suddenly asked. "That promise you made to Changmin about killing me?" JinSuk smiled. "I promised him that if I saw you, I would kill you too."
"You should have," Yunho replied. "Because I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that justice is won for Changmin, Yuki, and everyone else's life you ruined," Yunho said, his voice stayed strong, much to Yunho's own surprise. "You won't see the light of day after this."
"Can you send Changmin a message?" JinSuk asked, unphased by Yunho's threat.
"No," Yunho answered quickly.
"You're doing everything in your power to make sure he forgets me, aren't you?" JinSuk asked.
"He deserves that much," Yunho responded. "He deserves that and more, freedom from you especially."
JinSuk started laughing, causing Yunho's anger to flare even more.
"What's so funny?" Yunho questioned, folding his arms over his chest.
"You refuse to believe that Changmin is nothing but innocent, do you?" JinSuk asked. He looked Yunho right in the eyes, searching for some type of response. "He's not a victim. If anything, him
