Time to run

"Bump you!" I screamed as I ran up to my room and locked the door. "Open this door now or you'll be sorry!" My mom shouted slurring after me. She's drunk again and my steo dad will be home soon. Todat I decided I'm running away. I'm no longer sticking around just to get beaten and .
I shoved all my clothes into my backpack and hopped out the window. As soon as my feet touched the ground, I started running. I had no idea where I was going but I needed to get away from that house. I was wearing this:
After running a few blocks, I finally slowed to a walk. I spotted a park and I went to go sit downon the swings. Just then, my phone vibratedsaying I had a text. It was from my friend, Shin Yeong, she lives about a block away from the park.
Shin Yeong: Hey. There's a party by my house tonight. Wanna come?
Me: Yeah! I'll be right over.
Shin Yeong: Sure thing. Hurry up!
Me: Yeah! I'll be right over.
Shin Yeong: Sure thing. Hurry up!
I looked around, okay. I'm all alone. So I guess that means I could get changed quickly. I pulled my hoodie off ans swapped it for a leather jacket. I swapped my sneakers for a high heel studded boots and quickly applied some makeup. I comb my hair literally and added a necklace and bracelet just to top it off.
I shoved everything back in my bag and headed off for Shin Yeong's house
