Chapter | Nine

Luhan appeared in front of you in a flash. You gasped, shocked at his speed. He examined your face and tilted his head to the side to get a better view. You stepped back cautiously, not wanting to provoke him. He then eyed your lips, down to your jaw, to your neck. You felt sub-conscious from the piercing stare so you quickly shielded your exposed neck. You gulped the lump of saliva that had formed in your throat and peeked at him. Your eyes were stealthily watching his every move.

What do you want?

His eyes traveled back to yours and it hypnotized you. You found yourself lured into those round hazel orbs of his. It was big, empty, and spellbinding. You wanted to walk towards him but stopped.

He replied and you snapped back to reality. You staggered behind to get away from him when your legs banged onto the bed frame and your knees buckled. You plopped down onto the bed and a short gasp escaped from your mouth when you realized that there was nowhere to escape.

‘Someone save me.’

Luhan walked towards you and you immediately backed away. You tried as hard as possible to push yourself back. Your head hit the headboard and you instantly panicked. Your heart thumped loudly against your chest in trepidation. You were almost hyperventilating and your palms felt clammy. In a split second, his face was inches away from yours.

Luhan towered above you and you shrank in fright. You gasped and your eyes widened in horror when Luhan held your thighs. His hands slid up to your waist and your body tensed. ‘Is this even Luhan?’ Luhan turned his attention to you. You looked away in alarm.

Luhan moved towards your neck and you could feel his lips almost touching your skin. The hair on the back of your neck stood up and your breathing became raspy. He pushed away a few strands of hair that covered your collar and your neck. ‘What is he going to do to me? Omma, oppa, help me!’ You shut your eyes tightly together.

Luhan slowly cupped your chin and tilted it sideways, gaining more access to your neck. You struggled as your hands shivered at his tingling touches.
