Warming up
You're eternally mine.Chapter | Seven
“Okay class listen up!” Mr Bae clapped his hands together. Only a few students stopped chatting while the others continued. Mr Bae cleared his throat but no one took notice. He then took his long wooden ruler from his drawer and slammed it onto the whiteboard. Everyone cringed and even you became startled.
“Man are you guys hard to tame these days!” He shook his head. “We’re not animals ssem!” Taeyoung unhappily said and his friends doubled-over in laughter. You narrowed your eyes at them. ‘Oh look who’s speaking.’ “Okay, okay settle down now.” Everyone hushed and listened.
“There’s an upcoming project-” “Awwwh,” Everyone lamented. “Yah!” He shouted and everyone mumbled unhappily. “It’s part of your examination-” “Is this the same as last year ssem?” Jeunghee interrupted. Mr Bae sighed, “Yes unfortunately for you guys, it is.” “Eh? I’m not doing it then.” Hosun proclaimed.
“Pfft you guys always complain!” Sangjoo crossed his arms. “Like you don’t!” Another one of his friends retorted. “Duh, this year, I’m doing it.” Everyone jeered at him and laughed as they continued their mindless chatting.
Mr Bae sighed and shook his head but a small smile played on his lips. His attention was then diverted to Luhan. Slowly he walked up to your table. “Luhan, you can do it with Iseul since you’re new.” Your eyes widened and you looked at your teacher. “I’m sure a straight A student like you wouldn’t mind to help him, do you?” He smiled.
You dubiously nodded your head. “Then I’ll leave everything in your hands. Thank you Iseul.” He patted your back and walked back to calm the cacophonous classroom. You could feel Luhan glancing at you so you turned to look at him.
What.
Luhan smirked.
You’re getting used to this.
It’s better than interacting with you verbally.
So you’re not scared of me anymore?
You paused and looked away from him.
Maybe…but I still don’t know who or what you are.
Luhan smirked again.
Stop smirking or I’ll tear your mouth.
Oh you really won’t want to do that Iseul.
Whatever.
There was an awkward silence before he continued.
You’ll know about me, soon.
