Donghae's POV

I tap my fingers on the table nervously. I've been waiting for Hyukkie almost an hour. It's okay. It's my fault anyway..I was the one who very impatient. I really wanted to meet Hyukkie as soon as possible. That's why I decided to come earlier. I don't want Hyukkie wait for me.

It's 07.30 PM now. It means, Hyukkie will come in a moment. Mmm…should I order his favorite drink first? My tired Hyukkie must be happy if he sees his favorite drink has already served when he arrives later.

"Excuse me!" I shout--but not too loud--to the nearest waiter.

"Yes sir, are you ready to order?" Asked him after he's in front of me.

"Yes..I want to order drink first…one strawb--ah no...no...two strawberry milkshakes.." I said to him and smiled.

He writes my order then bows at me slightly. "Your order will be ready in a few minutes, sir…"

 "Thank you…"

 "You're welcome, sir..."

After the waiter left, I glance at my watch again. 07.35 PM. Hmmm…it seems Hyukkie will be late again. It's okay...maybe his schedule is longer than he expected. I'm not a kind of girlfriend who will sulk easily just because of my boyfriend is late for our date.

Oh, wait...did I just mention myself his girlfriend??

Mmmm...well, maybe I'm more suitable become a girlfriend than a boyfriend indeed.

Oh, back at present time. It's already at 07.45...Aisssh...why time flies so fast?? I can't go home late today...tomorrow will be such a hectic day..I want to sleep early..where's Hyukkie? Why he's not coming yet?

I take my phone--my couple phone with Hyukkie—from my pocket. I want to call Hyukkie to ask where is he now. I press his number hesitately. I take a deep breath then press the call button. One ring...two rings...three rings...until the last rings, Hyukkie doesn't answer my call. Where is he?

Should I try once again? But what if he's still busy? He will be angry if I keep calling him…But what If something bad happened to him? Okay…I should call him again. I need to make sure he's okay now…

I try again...but still no answer…

Again…still same…

Again…

 Again…

And again…But still there's no answer...

I give up.  I put my phone on the table then start wondering what Hyukkie might be doing right now. I'm too busy wondering until I don't realize that my orders have been served a moment ago. Two glasses of strawberry milkshake. I check his strawberry milkshake then sigh in relief. It's still cold. I hope Hyukkie will come soon before his strawberry milkshake doesn't cold anymore.

I drink a sip of my own drink then look at my watch again. He's late for 40 minutes now. Mm..na'ah. 41 minutes. It's okay...Keep calm, Donghae...It's only 41 minutes. You have been waiting for him become your boyfriends for about 10 years.  So, 41 minutes are nothing.  Nothing at all.

I sighed while leaning my back on my chair. I decided to just wait until he come. I won't try to call him anymore. Maybe he's still busy or still in his way to come here.

"Hyukkie...come here quickly...I'm waiting..."

Seohyun's party

Hyukjae's POV

"Eunhyuk oppa...you come!!" Seohyun greets me cheerfully.

She looks beautiful though only with casual clothes and slight make up.

"Yes..Sooyoung invited me to come here..is it okay?"

Seohyun chuckles softly.   "Of course it's okay, oppa...! Let's come in...you're my first guest.."

"Really?? I thought I'm late..." I said while walking in to her house then straight to her backyard. Appearantly, she celebrates her birthday at her backyard.

"My eonniedeul and the other Super Junior oppadeul are still on their way..."

I nod my head understand.  Then, the situation around us is a little bit awkward.  Seohyun isn't a girl who I can casually talk to.  Ahh...I hope the other guests come here quickly.  It's not that I don't like being with her, but I swear, it's very awkward.  I can die in this kind of awkwardness.

"Oh, jinwoon-ah...!" Seohyun suddenly jumps from her seat and run to the door.

Jinwoon??  Jinwoon 2AM?  Aahh...he's close with seohyun too. I don't expect this.

Jinwoon walks to the backyard too then he's also surprised when he sees me. "Eunhyuk hyung! You're invited too!"

I look at him annoyed. "Of course I'm invited! We're in one company!"

Jinwoon laughed. "I know, hyung…don't be too sensitive! It's because I never see you hang out with soshi girls before…you always be with donghae hyung…ah, speaking of donghae hyung...he's not coming?"

Seohyun who also hears the conversation immediately speak up, "Ah, you're right…where's Donghae oppa? Is he still busy filming his drama?”

Donghae?

Wait…Why am I feeling that there’s something that I’m supposed to do with—

DAMN!!

DATE!!

I widen my eyes in panic.  How can I forget that date??  Aisshh!!!  I look my watch quickly.  It’s already at 8.30 PM.  Donghae must be waiting for me now.  And I’m sure he has been waiting for me since at 6 PM maybe. Because I know he’s always like that.

“Hyung..Eunhyuk hyung…hyung…”

I snap out from my own thought then look at Jinwoon and Seohyun in turn.  They are also looking at me with confused face.  “Oppa…is there something wrong?”

“N-No…”

“But…why—”

“I’m okay…really...”

“Okay…Ah, while waiting for the others..let’s take pictures first!”  Jinwoon said excitedly.  Seohyun claps her hands once then say, “Good idea!  I will take my camera first!”

“Need not!  Just use our phones…I want to upload them in twitter directly!  Right, Eunhyuk hyung?”  Jinwoon asks me suddenly.

“Ye-Yes…you’re right…”

RIGHT!  Where’s my phone??  I dig in my pocket and pull out my phone.  No missed call or messages.  It’s so unusual.  Why Donghae doesn’t call me at all?  Perhaps…he forgets about the date too or—

“Eunhyuk hyung!  Why are you day dreaming? Sit beside Seohyun.  I’ll take your picture with her.  Where’s your phone?”

Without waiting my reply, he takes my phone and shoves me to sit beside Seohyun.  I sit down beside her while thinking about Donghae.  I don’t know how my expression when I’m taking picture with Seohyun but I try my best to not show my real feeling.

“Okay, one…two…three…kimchiiii!”

I smile.  But I don’t know if my smile was sincere or not since my mind is already bugged by Donghae.

“Hyung…it comes out well…you don’t want to post it on twitter?” Jinwoon asks me then shows the picture to me.  Yeh, it’s good.  If I upload this on twitter, ELF must be happy…Sone too…

I enter to my twitter account then using twitpic to upload my picture with Seohyun.  Before I could press the okay button suddenly there’s noisy voices come from outside.

“Seohyun-aaahhh……!!!”

We—Seohyun, Jinwoon and me—turn our heads to the noises and smile.  There are Sooyoung, Kyuhyun, Yoona and Sunny walking to us.  Kyuhyun looks at me weirdly.  He must be surprised seeing me here.

“What are you doing here, hyung?” gotcha.  He asked me directly.

“Sooyoung invites me…”

“Yes…I invite him, oppa…”  Sooyoung added.

Kyuhyun nods his head but he keeps looking at me with suspicious eyes.  I don’t understand why until he whispers to me, “Hyung…don’t you have a date with Donghae hyung?”

I gulp my saliva.  How could he know???!!!

“You…How did you know?”  I whisper at his ear.

“Sungmin hyung told me…Why are you here??”

“I….”

“Kyuhyun oppa!  Eunhyuk oppa!  Let’s take a picture!”  Yoona’s voice makes us startled.

“We talk about it later, Kyu…”

“But Donghae hyung must be waiting for you now…”

“He will go home if I don’t show up…”

“Hyung!  How can you be so cold to him!”

“Is there any problems, oppa?”  Yoona asks us confusedly.  Not only her, but all of them also watches us.

“Nope…Everything is okay…Let’s take a picture!”  I force a smile to them.  Then, I look at Kyuhyun who’s still look upset.

“Come on, Kyu…Don’t make any drama in Seohyun’s birthday…”  I try to coax Kyuhyun.  I hope he will understand and stop talking about Donghae now.  After the party ends, I will go home and apologize to Donghae.  We can set a date on the other day, right?

Kyuhyun sighs then he taps my right shoulder and grips it tightly.  “If Donghae hyung cries because of this, I won’t tell anything to Heechul hyung because I will punch you personally, hyung…you know he is my favorite hyung ever, don’t you?”

Donghae POV

Hyukjae forgets the date, Donghae!

No….!!  My Hyukkie won’t forget our date!

Yes, he forgets!!  If he didn’t forget, he will be here right now!

He’s still on his way!

But why he didn’t pick your phone?!

Maybe he didn’t bring his phone… but I believe him!  He won’t forget our date!  Stop talking he forgets our date!

“Sir…it’s already at 9 PM…Are you sure you’re not order anything else?”  The waiter’s voice snaps me out from my own debating. 

“Ngg…”  I think for awhile.  Should I order food first while waiting Hyukkie?  I’m very hungry actually.  But I want to eat with Hyukkie…

“I want another two glasses of strawberry milkshake.”  I decide to order those drinks again because I’ve drunk all of the earlier.

The waiter nod his head then ask again, “Sir…why you don’t order some snacks first while waiting for your date?”

I blush instantly when hearing the words ‘your date’.  “I-I…don’t wait for my date…” I answer softly.  He knows that I’m Super Junior Lee Donghae.  If I say I’m waiting for my date then the one who comes is Eunhyuk, he might be suspicious that me and Hyukkie is couple.  That will be dangerous.

“Really?  I think you’re waiting for your date…don’t worry, Sir…if you’re really dating here, we promise we won’t tell anyone especially journalist…” 

I smile sweetly at him.  “But I really don’t wait my date.  I’m waiting for….my friend.  My best friend.”

“Ah, is he Mister Eunhyuk, Sir?”

I nod my head happily.  “How do you know?”

“Who else is your best friend that you cherish the most except Mister Eunhyuk?  Everyone in Korea knows that…”  He answers while smiling too.

I grin widely.  His words make me happy.  Yes.  Everyone knows that he’s my precious best friend.  I hope one day everyone will know that he’s also my precious boyfriend.

“Oh, I’m sorry…I talked too much…I’ll be back with your orders…” he says again. 

“It’s okay….Thank you…”  Yeah, it’s really okay.  I like talking with him.  He seems nice.  I should go to this café more often.

Now…what should I do while waiting my order and Hyukkie?  I start getting bored.  I fish my phone from my pocket then open my twitter.  Like usual, once I log in my twitter, there are thousands mentions from my lovely ELFs.  It will be fun reading their mentions while waiting him.

Wait…Eunhyuk just update his twitter!  He posted pictures too!

Ng?  He’s in Seohyun’s birthday?

Why?

So…he really forgets our date?

Unconsciously, my tears start dropping one by one……

Super Junior’s Dorm

10 PM

Hyukjae POV

“We’re homeee….”  I shout to anyone who’s at home right now.  Kyuhyun follows behind me quietly.  He’s still upset at me.

“Welcome home!”  Sungmin hyung greets us cheerfully.  “How’s Seohyun’s party, Kyu?  Is it fun?”

Kyuhyun nods his head then says, “Yeah, it’s fun..if only my brain is not filled with Donghae hyung, hyung…”

“Donghae?”  Sungmin tilts his head confused.  “Is there something happen with him?  Yaak Lee Hyukjae!  You’re the one who’s dating with him…Where’s he now?”

I scratch my head nervously.  I don’t dare to tell him that I forget about our dating.  He must be very angry with me.

“He is forget, hyung…”  Kyuhyun answers Sungmin hyung’s question while glaring at me. 

“What??!!  Yaak!!!  Lee Hyukjae!  How dare you forget him!  He is very happy to have a date with you and you forget about that!  Is your brain really working??”

“Hyung…I will go to his dorm now and apologize to him…I’m really forget…and I’m very guilty now…”

“Aiisshh!!!  YOU!!  I really want to kick your right now!!”

Suddenly Sungmin hyung’s phone is ringing.  He takes a deep breath before he takes his phone on the table then frown.  “Heechul hyung?”

Hearing his name,  my heart jumps a bit.  Don’t tell me Heechul hyung knows too…

“Eh?  He’s not here hyung…Wait, he’s not home yet?!  Okay, hyung…I understand…I will call you if he contacts me…”  Sungmin hyung hung up his phone then he glares at me angrily.  “YOU!!  Donghae is not home yet!!  He must be still waiting for you!!”

I feel pang in my heart.  He’s…He’s still waiting for me?  

“He didn’t bring car and he didn’t pick his phone!!  What if something bad happens to him??”

“Sungmin hyung…calm down..calm down…”  Kyuhyun holds Sungmin hyung’s body.  “Hyukjae hyung!  You—”

I don’t hear his words ‘til finish because I’m running now…I’m running to my car and drives to Donghae.  The stupid Donghae who’s still waiting for me.

I try to call him but he doesn’t answer his phone.  I keep trying during my trip to get the café but he still doesn’t answer.

Oh, God…What did I do to him?

He must be very hurt. 

He must be crying.

I’m sorry, Hae…I’m sorry…

I almost jump from my car when I arrive at Amore café.  The café is already dark.  I look at my watch.  It’s at 10.30 PM.  The café has closed. 

So, where’s Donghae?

Panick starts attacking me.  I remember the last time Donghae was out alone, he was robbed by some men.  Luckily they didn’t hurt him.  And now, he’s out alone again.  I’m afraid that something worst will happen to him. 

He’s so clumsy and timid. 

He can’t fight and crybaby.  

He’s handsome, cute and y…

What if he’s by random men??

Noo…I can’t let that happen…The other will kill me for sure if anything bad happen to him.  There’s no need them to kill me, I kill myself for sure…

I try to call him again…but still there’s no answer…Hae…where are you?  Please answer my call…please…

My tears are starting to well in my eyes.  I’m really afraid now…

“Hyukkie….”

DEG.

That angelic voice…I turn my body and sighs in relief when I see him standing nervously with his teary eyes.  Seeing those eyes, without thinking I run to him and hug him tightly. 

“I’m sorry, Hae…I’m sorry I’m late…”
