Chapter 11 – “Blank”
This guy, I know him. But who is he? What does he know about me?
He should be someone I had to know because the moment I saw him, my heart thudded wildly in my chest.
“Hey,” he said.
This guy had a familiar pair of brown eyes, blond hair, broad shoulders, cherry lips, and all that. How could I not remember him?
“Hey,” I said back.
Nobody said anything after that. Guess it wasn’t good news to him.
“Actually, I –“
“You still don’t remember me?” he asked as pain streaked across his face.
Something in his eyes made me want to clam up with sadness. Something’s wrong here. I need an answer. And fast.
“Look, whoever you are, I don’t actually—“
“Ha! It’s okay. I mean, yeah. Okay. Bye.” He said as he turned to go.
“Wait.” I told him and he stopped.
“Who are you?” I asked him.
He turned to me and said,
“It doesn’t matter.” I realized it was tears falling from his eyes as he turned to go. Why was he crying? It wasn’t my fault. I couldn’t remember him. He should have told me, maybe I could recall.
I spent the whole night recalling who that guy was but nothing came to my mind. I don’t remember anything! I had to know who that guy was; I should know who he is. I should.
My thoughts were disturbed when my phone rang. Kyuhyun was calling me.
“Oppa?”
“Where are you?”
“BI Cheui.”
“It’s almost midnight, you’re not going home yet?”
“Almost.”
“Take care.”
“Yeah, you too.”
“I’ll pick you up tomorrow for school, okay?”
“Is it okay with you?”
“I don’t mind.”
“Well, see you tomorrow. Wait, what are you doing?”
“Playing StarCraft.”
“HAHAHA. Okay, bye.” I told him as I hung up the phone.
There’s something wrong going on here. Something very wrong.
But I have no idea, and I have to sleep early for school tomorrow.
