Chapter12 : The Meadow

Ah Ri's POV

Jerk, forever a jerk! That Chanyeol.. Aissssh, I'm the one who supposed to hang up!

And oh. I forgot to tell about tomorrow's plan.

Why I'm planning this -____- It's not a date. YEAH IT'S NOT, SO WHY I'M PLANNING THINGS?

I took my phone and start typing.

'Yah, tomorrow I'll go to your house at 12 pm. Wear something nice, so I can paint a good one.'

I sighed and read it again. WHAT THE HECK WHY I REREAD IT?

Better to take a bath now...

Chanyeol's POV

"Where are you going?" asked my Mom.

She was watching TV when I was about to wear my shoes.

"Eh? Somewhere."

"With whom?" she asked again.

There's no point to lie to my mom, so I said the truth.

"With Ah Ri."

"Omo?" my mom gasped and turned her face to me.

"Not that 'going out' mom, it's our school thing okay."

"Aigoo...I thought you're dating her... She's a pretty girl. And a nice one."

I went outside waiting for this crazy girl. I looked at my watch. '12.15'

Where the hell is she, we need to get this done quickly.

I stared at my phone, yawning.

"Y-yah, mianhe, I'm late." said someone, panting.

She hugged her skateboard, and wore her helmet.

"I skated real real real fast to here, you know."

I frowned and stood up. "But still, you're late." I crossed my arms.

"Let's just go." I walked to her and she nodded.

To be honest, we're still awkward. Yeah.

She walked and I trailed from behind.

"Can you, uhm, not wear that thing?" I pointed at her helmet.

"Oh? But it's hot you know." she frowned but at least she removed the helmet. It's just weird, okay.

"Where are we going?" I asked her, breaking the silence.

"To an art store, first. I haven't buy my canvas."

I nodded and followed her.

We took a bus and reached at our destination.

It's not a big store, but it's comfy. I waited her outside, actually.

After 15minutes she went outside.

"Mianhe, sorry for waiting me."

She had skateboard on her left hand, canvas and helmet on her right. Tsk, this girl.

"Give me that canvas."

"Mwo?"

"Just give me." I grabbed the canvas from her.

She starred at me blankly.

"Let's go to next destination, shall we?"

She nodded and walked first.

"It's beautiful.." I whispered to myself.

"Is it right?" she heard me.

I nodded in agreement.

We're now at a meadow. A beautiful one. Really. I really like the scenery.

"You're gonna paint me in this place?"

She nodded and walked to the center of the meadow, there's a big big big tree and she sat under the tree.

I sat too, and admiring the scenery.

She started to unpacked her backpack, and get her art things out. I'm a bit shock that she put a mini easel in her backpack.

"What?" she caught me watching her.

"Nothing."

"Yah, can you at least help me? This is your task too." she frowned and glared at me.

I walked to her and sat down. "What to help?"

"I don't know... Why don't you find your position so I can paint you. Uhmmm... There." she pointed at some direction.

I moved to the spot. "It's FREAKIN HOT HERE." I screamed to her.

"Ish, not that far!"

I moved a bit and found my comfort zone.

"What should I do know?" I asked her, she still preparing her things.

"Well, can you pose? Or something."

Ehm, pose? I don't know....

I tried to loosen up and stretched my body.

"Yah, you can't pose?" squealed Ah Ri suddenly.

I looked at her and made a pokerface.

"Aish, I should know that you couldn't pose." She shook her head and came to me.

"Sat nicely, no, I mean, try to loosen your self. Don't be stiff, okay." she ordered me.

I nodded and tried to do what she ordered me, but I just don't get it.

"Yah! Aish, this boy!" she yelled from her spot, stood up and came to me again.

She crossed her arms and after that she sat and touched--grabbed my shoulder. Moving my hands, tilting my head.

"W-what are you doing?"

"I'm trying so hard to make a good art."

It's like I'm her barbie or doll or whatever, and I followed her hands, so I could make a good pose.

"Stay like that." she glared at me. She ran to her easel and start sketching me first.

"Don't you dare move." she added.

Ah Ri's POV

Park Chanyeol is just a stupid boy who can't pose. The heck, but he is an ulzzang!

I started to make a sketch on my canvas.

I finished the sketch in about... Well I don't know, maybe 30 minutes.

I looked at his spot, and his eyes were closed, and he fell to the ground. Sleeping.

"Babo.." I muttered and continue to paint.

That boy, I admitted that he is a handsome boy, and that is good, so my painting will turn out to be good, cause he is handsome. WHAT THE HELL, WHY I THOUGHT LIKE THAT?

I drowned in my world, painting, painting, and painting.

"Aish... What time is it?" I checked my watch after I finished with the painting.

"Omo! It's already 4 pm? Better wake him up." I stretched my body and walked to Chanyeol.

"J-Jihyun-ah.." I heard someone muttered.

Jihyun? He sleeptalking?

"I'm not Jihyun." I whispered and sat next to him. How to wake him up?

I sighed and stared at his face. He is.. Quite handsome.. Okay, okay. Yes he is handsome. He is sleeping, and still... Handsome.

I shook my head and get rid that out of my thought.

"Yah wake up." I said to him.

He's not gonna wake up hah?

I poked his left cheek. "Wake up jerk."

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer.

"Yah!" I tried to escape but his grip, too tight.

"Jihyun-ah, please don't leave me.."

He loosen up the grip and mumbled something. He's still sleeping.

I stood up and kicked his feet. "WAKE UP, IDIOT!" I screamed and his eye blinked and he frowned.

He sat up and stretched his body.

"I'm finished." I crossed my arms and walked to my easel.

"Oh? Can I see the painting?" he stood up and walk to my spot.

I nodded and took out the canvas.

He blinked a thousand times. "I am handsome." he said proudly.

"No, I made you handsome in this painting." I said proudly.

"Yeah, you wished. Let's go home."

I nodded and.... I heard something from my stomach. I rubbed my stomach.

"What was that?" apparently he heard that too.

"Nothing." I blushed and packed my thing.

"Uhm... I'm actually a lil bit hungry. I'll treat you deokbokki, if you don't mind."

I nodded and smiled happily.

FOOD.

Chanyeol's POV

What was that? She must be so hungry...

"Uhm... I'm actually a lil bit hungry. I'll treat you deokbokki, if you don't mind."

WHY I SAID THAT?

She nodded and smiled. WHAT, WHY I SAID THAT. WHY I SAID I'LL TREAT HER?

"Okay, let's just said, I treat cause you paint me."
