Oh God. I can predict what’s coming. I actually alreadyhave a gut feeling that Dad already knows about this.
Why am I not surprised.
Dad has a lot of connections with people. Not just normal people. Important people.
So people working for a talent company are really important people, at least to me. ‘Cause that’s where all the songs are made. In their brains. And all the money starts rolling in from there.
I’m not that stupid to not know. Because my best friend apparently tried to audition. She just ignores her failures and moves on pretty easily even though she keeps getting rejected though.

My annoying, weird, crazy best friend. But she’s still my best friend.
Returning to the subject about Dad finding out about this whole mess, I heard the front door open then slam almost immediately.

“BYUN BAEKHYUN! COME DOWN HERE NOW!”

Crap. Perfect. Damn, I should’ve stayed in school for awhile.
Or for the rest of my life.
Why didn’t I see this coming? Oh yeah, I was too happy. And perhaps the calls from the teachers at school about my performance in my studies as of late had confirmed his doubts.
If Dad ever doubts. He just knows.
I trudged down the stairs with my head down low. I don’t want eye contact. I don't need it. It just makes the situation more messed up than It already is.
I could see my little sis at a corner peeking at me. She mouthed, “Fighting oppa!”. I nodded. Her encouragement calms me a little bit.
But all that braveness melted when I was infront of my father. He approached me.
“Now tell me, what about this thing with SM Entertainment?” he asked me with a smile. That smile. Is. Not. Real. It scares the crap outta me.
With a gulp, I told him everything.
I went back into my room with bruises and aches all over my body.
Ouch. That hurt.
