The MisfitsHana stared at the blood in the glass and bit her lips hard. It would be so much easier to just take the glass and gorge the whole blood down at once. With a shaky breath, she laid her hands on the glass and slowly raised it towards her lips The hunger inside her clawed into her guts, and her stomach painfully pulled together as the scent of blood took over everything in her mind.
Like a parched in the desert finally finding water after an eternity, Hana drank all the blood at once, and she felt so incredibly bad after that. Guilt and self-hatred rose up inside her. She had become what she feared the most; that, from which her parents had always warned her and her sister; that, from what they had tried to protect her from, and now they were dead. Before Hana could stop them, tears started to run down her face.
She didn't want to cry, she really didn't want to, but it was so hard. All alone. She was alone. Quickly, she wiped the tears away as she heard steps coming nearer. Changmin leaned in the door, his arms crossed, his face expressionless. “You drank too fast.” Of course, he knew it. He always knew whenever she couldn't control herself and when she was at the verge to lose herself.
Hana hated the Vampire inside her, the constant hunger and thirst for blood. “Is that something new?” The bitter expression and the bitter tone of her voice made him smile, and he patted her head like a big brother would do to his little sister. Even though he never would admit it openly, he had took a liking to Hana. There was something very fascinating about her, which made her very interesting. Maybe it was her humanity that still lived inside her, which he had lost a long time ago, or maybe it was because she reminded him so much of his little sister.
“Your friends... what kind of people are they?” From his expression, she could take that they were Vampires as well and a bitter tasting feeling rose up inside her. “They are... special, kind of.” Changmin tried to answer her question directly since he didn't know how to answer it at all. “You already said that, but how are they special?” Three more days had passed, and Changmin didn't tell her much about them up until now.
With a sigh, he sat down next to her and propped his chin on his hand. “They are a group of seven people. All male, and all of them are younger than me. Women chase after them like there is no tomorrow, but to me they are just annoying, little brats. E
