Hana tried to suppress the panic inside her, even though her hands clawed into the seat and broke a part of the head. “I can handle this,” she whispered, more to console and calm herself. “I can handle this.” Marie next to her suddenly rose up a bit, her eyes glowing in excitement. “God, they are amazing,” she whispered and leaned forward a bit. “I have heard so many rumors, but this is so much better.”

There were red sparks in her eyes, red sparks that caused Hana to flinch. “What do you mean by that?” Marie gave her the most contempt-filled gaze, a thin line of bitterness. “You are really stupid, aren't you?” Hana had expected her to spit at the ground or even into her face, but she didn't. “If you want to hear rumors, then go to another place. I won't tell you anything. In Detroit, there are enough people who will tell you a lot.”

What a , that was the instant thought which shot through Hana's mind, and she really was so close to punching Marie into the face. So close. The possibility that Marie would simply stop her attack and punch her back was very high, but Hana truly didn't care. “You seem to know a lot about them.” She commented though, and a smug expression appeared on Marie's face. “Of course, I do. Luhan told me a lot about him.”

That was a lie, of course, but Hana didn't know that, and she couldn't differentiate between true and lie at the moment. Boiling anger rise up inside her and the car creaked under Hana's heavy grip. “He did?” Marie's grin widened, and she propped her chin on her hand. “Of course. We spent the whole night together.” So close, so very close. It would only take one thing more, and Marie would get punched by Hana.

At least the anger made it more bearable to watch the bloody scene. A frustrated sigh escaped her lips, and she turned her head towards the window again. Blood dripped down Luhan's hands, but there was no single blood on his clothes. He didn't turn around to her and had seemed to forget that she and Marie were still in the car. Even though he looked like that, Luhan turned his head to the car as he could suddenly feel burning anger inside; anger and... jealousy? He wasn't quite sure about the second feeling, but he pushed all those feelings, which didn't belong to him, away and focused on the person Kai dragged along behind him.

The vampire looked very young, but then again his looks could deceive his true age. Kai's face was stained with blood, but the Vampire looked worse. It was not the surprising that the other Vampire didn't flinch though. Luhan still remembered the fist encounter he had with one of the Sanguera. He had barely been 10 years old, a real baby among Vampires, as he had seen one of them in his father's room.

Instinctively, he had been scared of that tall man who had seemed to be so different from all the other people he had met before. Later, he had learned that those people were more than they seemed to be. They were dangerous, really dangerous, but they had a special purpose. “Here. Our special friend here hid behind some rocks,” he said to Luhan, before he turned to the young looking Vampire. “So unlikely for a Sanguera.”

The body slid over the ground and dust swirled up as Kai threw the Sanguera at Luhan's feet. “You are in deep trouble, boy.” Compared to Luhan, the Vampire really was a boy. Young, inexperienced and totally wet behind his ears. He had to admit that they had trained that young guy very well though.
