Remember, you have a home here,” Kari's words were heartwarming and as she stepped back, she looked at Luhan. “All of you have a place here, where you can return to.” Luhan knew that, he really did, and he appreciated it very much, but he couldn't return until they finished what they have started.
He looked at Hana, doubt and guilt slowly rose up inside him, gnawing on his consciousness, but he pushed them back slowly. Maybe it would be better if he would leave her here, but then again she would probably kill him if he would do that. The sound of gold clattering against gold, silently and bright, could be heard as Chanyeol and Kai shouldered the bags. “I hope your friend can help us to get over there.” Lay commented as Changmin appeared in the room again.
He somehow looked pale, but he only took a deep breath and straightened his back. “Yes, he can. We will meet him in Toledo. While you guys rescued Hana, I looked after a ride for us. The cars are waiting outside of the city.” Someone suddenly put a bag into Hana's fingers, and Kari brightly smiled at her. “I think you will need this. Clothes and such, and I didn't put anything too revealing inside it,” she winked.
Even though Hana didn't want to, she flushed slightly. “Thanks.” Hana muttered and hugged Kari again. “Thanks for everything,” a hand laid on her shoulder, and Luhan flashed her a soft smile. “Let's go.” The girls and Kari waved them goodbye as they they disappeared from the balcony onto the next roof. “Damn it, be quiet.” Sehun whispered as the gold clattered against each other.
“Oh, come on, even though we are Vampires, we can't do anything about it. Unless you can control sound.” Baekhyun shot back. He couldn't express how happy he was that they were leaving Detroit.
