The MisfitsA couple days had passed; Luhan and the others had to wait until the commotion in the city would pass until they could get out. Hana and Luhan haven't talked at all, and each meeting, one of those rare meetings they had, were so awkward that either one of them left the place or the two of them left after the other one left. “We will leave this evening.” Luhan said to the others, much to their surprise. “In a few hours? Does Hana know that?”
A frown appeared on Kai's face, and he crossed his arms in dismay. “No, she doesn't because she will not go with us.” The news dropped like a bomb among them, and Changmin immediately jumped up. “What?” Luhan raised his hand and shook his head. “Take a seat. Now!” Changmin immediately sat down again. “She won't come with us, that's my decision, or do you want to doubt that?”
Everyone looked at him, but they kept silent. No one would doubt his decision in that state; not when he was speaking in that kind of tone. “Why would you do that?” Lay whispered, knowing that leaving her behind would hurt him as much as it would hurt her. “She can't stay with us. If we go over there, I won't be able to protect her. We won't able to protect her.” They were all very aware of that, but...
“Who says that she needs your protection?” Chanyeol's face showed his dismay as much Kai's, but he still wouldn't go against Luhan's decision. “She will get killed over there! There are so many Vampires who hate us! Why do you think she will be able to survive there?!” The others paled, knowing that Luhan spoke the truth. “Then who's going to tell her about this? Who is going to take her in?” Sehun looked at his cousin with a distanced gaze, but he somehow agreed with Luhan's decision.
“I talked with the hunters. They will take care of her until we return... if we return.” Luhan's voice got more and more silent, and he suddenly turned around. “I contacted Marie. She will pick us up and we are leaving for Toledo to get some things, and from there, we will continue our way to Chicago. There are some Vampires who are willing to help us.” They would need support, considering that they were going up against the whole Sanguera and the whole Vampire military. “And what about your friends?”
Changmin let out a sigh. “Springfield.” Kai's face darkened gradually. Springfield was dangerously close to the border and after that... it was Vampire territory. “Then that's how it is.” D.O. nodded. He had kept silent for a whole while, but he wouldn't talk back to Luhan. “Get ready. I will tell her that we are leaving.” The others stood up silently; they didn't have a lot of things so they would be ready really fast.
With an unwell feeling, Luhan went to Hana's room. It had took him a lot to make that decision, but it was the best for her. Hana knew that Luhan was coming, and she looked up as he opened the door. They looked at each oth
