The MisfitsSehun wiped the blood off of his arm with a wet towel, which he threw away carelessly. “You could have make it less bloody.” Kai commented, while he closed the trash bag with the corpse in it. “Do you really care about that?” Of course, Kai didn't care. They were used to blood, murder, death. For years now they have seen so many cruel things from both sides, and it seemed like there was no end to it.
“Next time, Luhan can take care of the mess he or his underlings are leaving.” Sehun turned around as he noticed Kai's strange gaze. “You could be a bit nice to her.” It was strange to hear those words coming from Kai, and Sehun fairly remembered the person Kai had been, before... before everything went down hill. “Tell me a good reason why I should do that.”
With a shrug, Kai heaved the bag over his shoulder and walked to the door, before he abruptly stopped. “Have I already told you how much you changed?” Kai whispered silently. Sehun didn't answer immediately; he straightened his back and looked at the bloody mess around them. “You have, but I am not the only one.” He was right with that, and Kai knew that.
“Hey, you two,” Hana seemed surprise but Luhan wasn't surprised at all. Everyone could see the sad and somewhat startled expression in Hana's eyes, which seemed to be there all the time. Her eyes glanced at the bag, and she paled immediately. Kai would have spared her the sight, but she had to get used to it; had to get used to their way of life. “I'll get rid off this trash and then we can return to Seungri's place. I am sure that Changmin and the others managed to figure something out for our problem.”
With an asking gaze, Hana looked at Luhan, but he already stood up, his expression completely blank. “Okay, we will contact you if we go.” Sehun said and closed the door behind him. “Let's go. We are finished here.”

Changmin tapped his finger on the desk, his eyes slightly closed. The negotiations had been quite good, despite that one Vampire who wanted to kill him. “Do you think this will work out?” Lay asked curiously, but Changmin couldn't give a clear answer to that. “I hope so.” That was the only thing he could say. D.O. looked kind of nervous, as always, but it was only a mask he wore. His senses were completely sharp, and his body under complete tension. For someone like him, it was kind of hard to be around people like Changmin.
Memories flashed up in front of Changmin. Memories of a scared Kyungsoo, caged away, treated like dirt. Huge eyes, filled with fear; a trembling and meager body, starved down to the bones. Changmin still had the scar on under his rib, and he knew that Luhan had a small scar under his lips and on his stomach. Very faintly, but those scars were there.
