The MisfitsLuhan didn't continue. He remained silent for a whole while, and Hana waited. His whole body was completely tense and as Hana laid his hand on his, he flinched heavily. “Luhan,” carefully, Hana placed a small kiss on his forehead, on his cheeks, before she kissed his lips. She could feel his pain inside her, his grief over Neyla's death and the blame. Still, Hana was angry at that woman, who had brought the two cousins against each other.
“And then?” Hana whispered, and Luhan let out his breath. “The bomb itself was made by Vampires to kill Vampires, and I... why haven't I heard it?” Again, Luhan's fingers clenched to a fist, but Hana immediately linked her fingers with his. “She didn't die immediately. It was a slow and painful death. The silver fragments tore her skin and damaged her internal organs to such an extent, where every help would have come too late,”
No tears came over his face, not a single one, but he was crying on the inside. “Changmin nearly beat me to a pulp whe we returned with her half dead body. She still fought against it, holding onto life like a real fighter, but in the end it was too late. She succumbed to her wounds three months after that incident. At that time, the great war was about to start and we were torn between our duty to fight and the duty to watch after her,”

That we would fight for a better world,”
That promised taught him down and had made him to the person he was now. That promise had made all of them the people they were now, but especially Luhan had changed that promise drastically. “Sometimes, I think that was not my fault that she died, but then I realize that it was. She protected me because I was careless. I've let her go with us and... and...”
