The MisfitsLuhan dragged her through the streets and it wondered her a bit that no one really paid attention to them. She could tell that each and every one of the people, who were walking on the streets, were Vampires alone by their looks. Handsome, nearly flawless, that's how everyone looked. Luhan was the most handsome out of them though, and she noticed the little gazes the women threw at him.
“Ignore them.” Luhan muttered, and Hana's eyes widened in surprise. “Where are we going?” He dragged her through the streets, before Luhan slowed down his pace. “Don't know, haven't thought of anything. What do you want to do?” Aghast, Hana stared at him, her jaw slightly dropped. “I don't know,” she managed to say after a few minutes silence. “I don't know this city at all. So, I guess you know the city?”
Of course he knew Des Moines, not as good as he wished he would, but good enough to show Hana a few things. “Say... what do you want to do with your brother?” Luhan froze for a moment, before he sat down at the edge of the water fountain. “I will kill him.” That was somehow to be expected. “Do you not think that there is another solution than that? I mean, he's your brother.”
For Hana, it was a bit hard to understand. Even if Mari would be as bad as Elijah, Hana would never be able to kill her. “Half-brother.” Luhan corrected her. “He's your brother, nevertheless.” Hana had a point there, and Luhan kept quiet for a whole while. “What my brother did and what my brother is still doing is unacceptable. He needs to be stopped, no matter what.”
There was so much dismay in Luhan's voice, dismay and hate, and he sounded so terribly hurt that Hana's heart ached painfully. There was also blame in his voice, but he didn't blame anyone else but himself. Luhan suddenly pulled Hana closer, so that he stood between her legs and so that he could lean his head at her stomach. Since she couldn't call Luhan in that form, she only tousled his hair. “Don't we catch a bit too much attention?”
A chuckle came over Luhan's lips and he playfully bit her. “No, we aren't. There are Vampires who have public , so don't worry.” The thought alone made Hana flush a bit, but she didn't stop playing with his hair. “You know... if you need someone to talk to … you can talk with me. I mean, you don't have to be strong the whole time.” Luhan stopped the every movement for a second and he looked up.
Hana didn't dare to look at him, but his hand suddenly closed around her jaw and pulled her down. “Idiot. Don't say something like that and then look away,” he whispered at her lips. That was the Hana he knew from before, but it seemed like there was still something that restrained her a bit. “Hana.” There was something in Luhan's voice that made her heart stop, something, that made her anticipate his words. Luhan stared into her eyes, so as if he would stare into her soul. “Hana, I...” his eyes suddenly narrowed and he stood up.
For a moment, Hana was completely irritated since she wanted to know what he wanted to say, but then she noticed it as well. Someone was watching them, and Luhan had to restrain himself not to use his powers. He suddenly pulled her closer and pressed his lips on hers while his hand tugged her hair slightly. “Act completely normal. There is something odd about that person,” he whispered, only audible to her.
Much to his surprise, Hana suddenly pulled him down by his neck and kissed him. “I know.” Her voice was strangely silent, and Luhan could feel her heart beating as fast as his. “Come, let's go to another place.” He linked their fingers and dragged her away. Somehow, Hana was a bit disappointed and something tiny but painful stung her heart. As they walked through the streets, only a few Vampire
