Lay didn't let go of Hana's arm until they were in the big community room of the underground hideout. Frustrated, she jerked her arm free and slumped down on one of the chairs. Curiously, the other Vampires glanced over to her, but as soon as they saw that Lay gave them a warning gaze, they looked away. “What's wrong with him?” Hana muttered under her breath and stared into the fire. “Don't mind him. He's like that sometimes.” He snatched a bottle with blood, two glasses from one of the desks and sat down next to her.

“I don't mind him. It's just... I don't know.” Hana shrugged her shoulders and let out a long and deep sigh. “You don't know what to think of him.” Lay helped her and unintentionally, she had to smile. “That's the case for all of you.” It was hard to her to estimate the characteristics of them, especially Luhan and Kai's. “We are not bad people.” She knew those words and another sigh escaped her lips. “That, I am not sure of.”

As Lay gave her the glass with blood, she stared at the red liquid. “Hana, is everything alright?” Lay immediately noticed the change in her eyes, and he carefully laid his hand on her shoulder. “Hana,” atartled, she looked at him with big eyes, before she carefully raised the glass to her lips. “Hana, drink slowly,” he immediately noticed the big gulps she made. “Hana!” This time, Lay growled, and Hana abruptly stopped drinking.

“Sorry.” She muttered and averted her eyes. Lay narrowed his eyes slightly and tilted his head. “You have problems with controlling your hunger, right?” With a slight flush on her face, she nodded and put the glass away. “It's not like I can't control it. It is more like it is hard for me to control it when it is in my mouth.” She spoke those words out with such a disgust in her voice, but Lay understood it.

He understood why she hated being a Vampire so much; to be one of them, and to be a slave of her own hunger and thirst. “I think you focus too much on the blood itself.” Lay knew the problem many newborn Vampires had, especially those who were made and were not born. “Luhan said that as well.” Surprised, Lay raised his brow. As far as he knew, Luhan barely gave any advices to newborns. He actually never cared really much about his own creations, but now that he started, it was quite the... surprise.

“I see, he did. Interesting,” Lay tapped his finger against his chin, took the bottle with blood and started to drink right out of it. “Well, I think you can do it. Just follow his advice.” A growl escaped her lips, and she blew the air out into the fire. The smell of burned woods, rosin and fresh woods filled the room and gave her a homy feeling. Hana would have enjoyed that fire and suddenly, tears rolled down her face, before she could them back. “Why are you crying?” Lay immediately patted her back and gave her a handkerchief.
