The MisfitsHana wanted to stand up immediately, but Luhan pulled her down by her neck. Just in time, she supported herself with her arms, which she propped up right next to his head. “Do you want to kiss me?!” Even in her own ears, her voice sounded shrill and startled. Luhan suddenly threw her around, so that she partly laid under him. As he pinched her nose, Hana squinted her eyes close.
“You are way too innocent to hook up with a guy like me.” He whispered at her ear, and Hana didn't know what to think at all. “What?” She stuttered, before she shook her head slightly. That was absolutely ridiculous! How could a guy shake her that much? Even though he was a Vampire, he was also a man, and she could bet that Vampire men weren't any different from human men. “What makes you think that I am innocent?”
A frown appeared on Luhan's face, while his fingers tapped on the skin on her arm. “Don't judge a book by its cover, hm?” She flushed again, which confirmed his assumption that she absolutely had no experience. With a cry, she sat up and poked his finger with his chest. The embarrassment could be seen on her face, which made her look quite... cute. “You! You are a meanie!”
Luhan broke out in laughter. Just like that, and he couldn't stop. “So, I am a meanie,” Hana wanted to wipe that smug grin from his face. “If it makes you feel better, then I am a meanie,” her smile disappeared immediately, and Luhan could feel that. “You should know that we are all sorry that we left you alone,” the memory of the burning iron and the acid-like feeling of the quicksilver made her flinch, and her breath was too shaky.
“Hana, are you okay?” Hana's expression shocked him; all the horror gathered in her eyes; the abuse of the hunters and the Vampires, the pain, the fear, the grief and everything else that couldn't be described by words. Hana wanted to scream; wanted to scream the pain and the memories away. Her body shook uncontrollably, and it didn't stop. “I am fine.”
Her voice sounded way to stiff, and as Luhan cupped her face, Hana closed her eyes. Tears ran down her face, and Luhan's heart slowly cracked. “Come here,” as he pulled her into a hug, Hana cried silently at his chest. “It's okay. It's okay to cry.”
