The MisfitsElijah didn't want to bow down. He fought Luhan's will with his own will and slowly managed to stand up again. “Do you really think I will bow down before someone like you?” His voice trembled slightly as he looked at Luhan. Every emotion had disappeared out of Luhan's eyes and all was left was a cold, emotionless Vampire who was out for Elijah's blood.
What was more scary though were the mass of blood, which stood completely still behind him. Then, there was the sword. The sword reminded him so much of their father's sword, which Elijah had destroyed a few days after the assassination. Why? Why? Why?
That question came into Elijah's mind again and again and again. Why Luhan? Why not him? Why was it always Luhan? Luhan, who his father had forced to strive for the best of the best. Luhan, who had possessed his mother's and their father's love. Luhan, who was loved by everyone. Luhan, who had loyal friends who would even die for him. And Elijah? Elijah had nothing of that.
He had has to take everything from others because he wasn't able to get things with his own abilities. And even now... “That girl, who is she?” Elijah asked Luhan, knowing that his brother still could hear him very well. “Would the answer really interest you that much?” Luhan whispered and Elijah pressed his lips together. That girl, he had noticed it before, was very special to Luhan, despite being a newborn and created Vampire. A newborn Vampire who loved Luhan; again something that Elijah didn't possess.
“We will end it here, Elijah.” Suddenly, a few sharp stones rose up from the ground, moved by Luhan's telekinesis. He threw them at Elijah with such a speed that Elijah was nearly unable to avoid them. A wall of solid stones appeared in front of the current king and the rocks shattered but in the next moment Luhan made his move. Elijah couldn't feel Luhan's presence at all and that was shocking.
The blood wave hit his wall, which shattered immediately. The memory of pain as the blood nearly touched him, flashed up in his mind and he backed off immediately. The ground split open and big boulders and spikes rose up to stop the flood. For a moment, the blood stopped but then it moved forward with an even heavier force. It destroyed everything on its way. Everything Elijah threw in its way got engulfed by it.
Suddenly, the blood transformed into hundred of whips, which immediately aimed at him. With a growl, Elijah managed to dive down under a few of them and used one of them to keep his own balance. “You know that you don't have a single chance against me, right?”
