I just finished washing the dishes when I hear a beep signalling a new text message.

From: 010-231-5764

[Hey, Ga-In noona, how are you?]

Who the hell is this? I don't recognize the number. 'Ga-In noona'? Can it be Seungri? But why would he ask how I'm doing when I just saw him a few hours ago? I choose to ignore it and delete the message after saving the number as 'Pabo #18', adding to the other 17 'Pabo'-s I already have. I've saved all the numbers that had pranked me before, so I know which ones I need to ignore.

These people need to have a life. Some of them are just plain creepy. I've had my share of guys who called or texted me to ask what I was wearing, my bra size, or if I was available for a quickie. And those creeps didn't do it only once; when I hung up or didn't reply, they would try again and again before they gave up. One guy even told me he knew where I live and threatened to come by if I didn't reply his text. That made me sleep over at JeA unnie's apartment for a week. Thus, to avoid answering or replying to the wrong numbers, I always add them to my contact list.

Kyung-Sun unnie constantly tells me to change my number or to get another mobile phone, but I ignore her. I don't want to change my current number because I had it custom made: 010-087-0920, it has my birthdate in it. And having more than one mobile phones is too much of a bother for me. I've already gotten so many pranks by having just one, God knows what will happen if I have more. 

I take a bubble bath to relax. Afterwards, I pour myself a glass of red wine and browse the internet on my laptop. I give my mother a call because I haven't seen her for months and she's been bugging me about it. She spends a good 15 minutes just to lecture me on healthy eating and finding a boyfriend. I say yes at everything she says to make her happy. My mother is exactly like most mothers out there, she nags a lot. 

As the wine in my glass is finished, I continue reading some news online. I see an article about Taeyang who just released a solo album. The comments show a great reaction from the netizens. Good for him. I hope someday I can have a solo album as well. Another beep comes from my mobile phone. Aish~ don't tell me it's another prank text message. The screen shows the sender's name: Pabo #18. Oh, how awesome. Another aggressive prankster.

From: Pabo #18

[Noona, it's Ji-Yong. Big Bang's Kwon Ji-Yong. Remember me?]

I gasp as soon as I see the message. Omo! It's Ji-Yong? He must've gotten my number from Seungri. I reply immediately.

To: Pabo #18

[Hey, Big Bang's Kwon Ji-Yong! Kekeke... Of course I remember you. Sorry I didn't reply earlier, you didn't put your name so I was afraid that you were a prankster. How are you?]

I giggle as I look at the sender's name and change it to 'Ji-Yong'. I feel happy. I thought about him earlier today after I saw Taeyang and Seungri at Inkigayo. I'm not going to lie to myself, I often think about him. In fact, I miss him. I've missed him for the past 2 months. Desperate much? He was being nice to me twice and here I am, yearning to see him again. I've been called an 'ice-queen' by my unnies for my cold attitude towards people I barely know. In this case, they're clearly wrong. 

A reply comes. Gosh, please let it be from him, please...

From: Ji-Yong

[I'm fine, noona. How have you been? You're not sad anymore, right? I miss you so much, noona...]

My phone almost slips out of my hand when I read his text. I read it once again, thinking that I'm probably a little tipsy after that glassful of wine. It really says 'I miss you so much, noona'. Omo! Omoooooo! My heart starts beating like crazy. He misses me? He misses me like I've been missing him? Did he send it to the wrong number? He probably has other noonas whom he misses, right? I better not get my hopes up. But, what if he really does miss me? God, what should I say to respond? 

I wait for almost 45 minutes and there's no message from him saying that it was a mis-sent text. So he actually misses me? I make up my mind to reply.

To: Ji-Yong

[I miss you, too, Ji-Yong. Kekeke... Oh! I still have your scarf with me, sorry I forgot to give it back that night. Where should I return in to?]

That sounds alright, doesn't it? I wanted to write 'we should meet up so I can return it', but I didn't. Even though I miss him a lot, I don't want to seem pushy by asking to meet up. After waiting for a reply for almost an hour, it never comes. My eyes finally give up and I go deep into slumber.

Little did I know that 'I miss you so much, noona' wasn't the only thing he was feeling about me...

Btw, a question: is the storyline confusing for you guys? If it is, ask me :)

Just fyi, I'm sorry if the story goes rather slowly. I want it to be detailed so you readers can visualize better. I also don't state whose p.o.v it is on each chapter, but you'll know when you read it. 

In case you're wondering, I'm half-Australian. I tend to swear a lot (not that I'm saying Australians love to curse, although they really do, hihi), so pardon my French.

Another thing (yikes, this author has a lot to say, eh?), I always write at night, so sometimes I get sleepy and too lazy to proofread. When you see a spelling or grammatical mistakes, which I'm sure you will, I apologize. But I often go back and read the previous chapters to fix the errors.
