Because of what happened yesterday, you and L have been on good terms, you had cleared out all the misunderstandings. After learning that L wasn’t that one who threatened you and Taemin with an actual ball, you had the urge to apologize immediately, you felt so bad because you didn’t even bother listening to his side story.

[Flashback]

"I'm sorry" you started, you didn’t want to meet his eyes, and you felt bad for accusing him for something he didn’t do at all.

"Sorry for what? Sorry for blaming me and accusing me? Sorry that you didn’t bother to hear my side of the story? Or you are just saying sorry 'cause you just feel bad and you think just by saying sorry, everything will be back to normal" his voice hardened.

Your right arm was wrapped around his neck, he supported you by holding you right hand while he wraps his left hand to your waist, lifting you up a little, to make it easier for you to take small steps.

He was carrying you home, he told infinite that he can take care of you himself, even though infinite protested, no one can really disobey him and especially if that him was L. 

"L..." your vision was getting misty "I'm sorry for everything, sorry for accusing you, sorry for the time when I was not thinking clearly and full on yelled at you, and most of all, sorry for annoying you all the time, when i am just a newbie here in Woolim High" your voice is starting crack a little "A-and if you weren't there to save me from them... I don't what would've happened to me"

L is starting to panic, what he said was supposed to be sarcastic, he never actually believe that you will take that joke seriously. Oh-wait... You are a girl that's why, you were probably shocked with what just happened earlier.

"Chill out I was just being sarcastic there, but I gotta admit, I was a little scared that you were going to murder me when you kicked the door open and went all Ape- on me, the only thing you were missing was a weapon to kill me with" he gave out a soft laugh.

"Hahaha" you laughed to yourself.

L frowned when he heard you laugh "What's funny?"

"Because you just swore earlier, and I have never heard you swear before" you turned your head with a goofy smile on your face, facing him. His face was still focused on the road.

"That's odd, swear words makes you laugh? That's weird, although swearing is not my thing, i just said Ape- to cheer you up and what else can I possibly express your emotion other than that word" now that he looks at you, you were in deep thinking and you were mumbling out random words "don't tell me you were actually thinking of words that could actually replace that?"

"Maybe" you slyly smiled to him.

Now that you are face to face, L reduced his walking pace "You know, you can always ask for my help if you need it, especially if its someone trying to threaten you, just like what happened now, I'm pretty sure that Infinite would gladly help as well, but I think I'm the better option for you since I have the brain, looks and all" He smirked.

A small smile curves in your lips "Conceited Jerk" you said. "If you are willing to help me, does that mean that you're my friend now?" you asked.

"Isn't that what you wanted from the start?" L looked back straight to the road, increased his walking pace. 

"YAY! I befriended my mean-cold-arrogant roommate, this is something to celebrate" you held out your left hand, asking for a hi-5. L was just blankly looking at it, seconds had passed and he is still not returning the hi-5, your mood went down and started to retreat your hand, until he let go of your right hand and hi-5 you. Your smile curved upwards. "Well once again, I'd like to say thank you for saving me my new chingu" as he put back his right hand to your right hand.

"Just so you know that, saving you is not for free" he smirked.

"I knew it was too good to be true" your face couldn't help but pout "so what is it? What do you want me to do?"

"Hmmm... Let me think about it first, I'll tell you tomorrow at school, you can't refuse this by the way or I will throw you somewhere Teen Top is"

"YES SIR!" you shouted really loud as if you were in the military as soon as you heard him say teen top.

"Thought so" his smirked never left his face.

Surprisingly that L waited for you downstairs, usually he would go walk to school by himself, but i guess everything changed after what L.Joe did to you.

*Gotta remind myself to thank L.Joe for earning me a good friend*

It was pretty quiet, no one was talking between you and L, but the distance between you guys were not that far, as a matter of fact, you guys were close while walking.

Before you even know it, you already arrived at the front of the school, Infinite was there leaning on the walls probably waiting for L to arrive. Once Sungjong noticed you, he ran up and quickly gave you a LONG big hug, long enough for L to separate you two.

You were shocked at first then eventually returned the hug.

"Okay that's enough maknae" he said as he drag the maknae who was trying to reach for you, away from you.

"But hyung! I still haven't checked if he's okay yet" the maknae whined.

"Nice to see you all back to normal, looks like nothing happened yesterday" Sunggyu commented.

"Yeah, thanks to that someone who was suppose to help me cure my bruises but in the end, he ditched me" you threw glares at L.

L couldn't help but chuckle to himself, while he was holding the maknae who was still trying to reach for you.

Infinite's eyes furrowed at once and looked at each other and they knew they were all thinking about the same thing when they saw L laughing. It was seriously hard to believe that L is laugh, L IS LAUGHING!

"Ummm... Is there something that we should know? Did something happen yesterday?" Hoya interrupted.

L knew that you were talking about last night where he told you to clean your bruises. "Nothing particularly" he stopped chuckling to himself but his lips were still curved upwards.

Infinite shrugged their shoulders and just nodded.

Woohyun crept up behind you and wrapped his arm around your neck "Since you people..." he eyed everyone "Don't want to get revenge at Teen top, I have something else to propose to you guys"

"What is it?" everyone asked.

"Since I want to cool off and meet some chicks why don't we g-" Woohyun was all of a sudden interrupted by Taemin.

"HYUNG!" Taemin sprinted with all his might, he pushed Woohyun away from you, he cupped your face checking for injuries "Kwenchana?! I heard what happened! I'm sorry for dragging you into this" he bent down on his knees asking for your forgiveness.

Your eyes widened "Taemin-ah, get up" you tried pulling him up but he refused and stayed kneeling on his knees on the ground.

"NO! I shouldn't have asked you to do this favour" Taemin bowed his head, he sounded like he was about to cry.

Infinite looked at each other, they don't have any idea to what he was saying except for you.

You bent down on your knees also, you put both of your hands on his shoulders and whispered to his ear "You don't have to be sorry since our plan is going well so far, so there is no need to back down, L became my friend now so we still have a chance"

Lucky for you, Infinite was far enough to not hear anything about what you just said.

You pulled away "Really?!" Taemin looked up with his eyes watery. You assured him by nodding with a smile.

Both of you stood up "We're going to go now since I have something to talk to Taemin about" you bid goodbye to them.

Once you and Taemin secured that no one was around, far away from everyone. "Are you really okay?" Taemin asked.

"Better than ever" you tried showing your muscles, in reality you don't have any hard muscles around which did cause Taemin to chuckle a little bit.

"Okay that's good, noona you can back out of this favour, I don't mind, if danger is what's going to happen to you, I'd rather get bullied forever than see my noona hurt" Taemin once again lowered his head in shame.

You deeply sighed "Taemin-ah, don't make me tell you this again, I insisted on staying, it was my choice to stay, even though I knew there will be consequences." 

"Okay" Taemin finally lifted his head up as if a burden just got of his shoulder. "Noona, I have something to tell you, and I think you are not gonna like it"

"What is it?"

"I think you need to go back to SM High as Park Eunmi"

After you and Taemin left Infinite. Woohyun decided to continue his interrupted proposal "Anyway back to what I was saying, why don't we go meet and check out some hot high school chicks, today" he said as he winked.

"Oh I'm all in" Dongwoo is already excited of his hyung's proposal "Which school are we targeting to?"

"Where L's sister go to school, SM High"

As soon as the class finished, you and Taemin quickly packed up and went off the classroom with no hesitation. 

L just finished packing up his things when he saw you walking fast, he was about to call you but then you were already out the classroom. He frowned "I waited for her this morning and now she just took off without even waiting for me" he shrugged his shoulders and he reminded himself to remind you to always stay near his side. He clicked his tongue "Tsk.... That girl always worries me. Did she forget what happened yesterday? She is lucky that L.Joe is not here today" then he just went off the class.

You and Taemin took a stop by at your house, surprisingly your house was clean, no clothes on the couch, no underwear on the floor, no speck of dust everywhere, Taemin really kept his promise.

*God how much I miss being in my OFF switch*

You looked around the house and it brought you flashbacks, where you were preparing for your first day back to school this year. Taemin was also there, he was the one who actually scolded you for sleeping in, if he wasn't there then you would'nt have woken until school had finished. You chuckled at the thought.

You rushed through your clothes, and you were pulling out random clothes and throwing it everywhere.

"Gosh noona! You're not the one who will be cleaning all this up" Taemin complained, he picked up all the clothes that you just threw on the floor and started folding it one by one, neatly.

"Mianhe" you said, not even bothering to look at him, you were to busy looking through clothes. Since you will only be visiting, you went for a casual look, you pulled out a big white blouse with a black tank top inside it, and to match it with grey shorts with gold buttons everywhere near the belt part.

"Good enough?" you asked Taemin.

"Ummm… noona you forgot about something"

"What is it?"

"Your hair" Taemin pointed your short hair.

You stared at him horrified while clutching at your short hair, you didn't think about this properly "Oetokke? I don't have any wigs with me"

"I thought this will happen, I knew there will be a day that you will have to go back to being Park Eunmi, so I bought a wig that is closely similar to your previous hair" Taemin pulled out the wig out from his bag, it was a hair that was straight at the top and goes a little wavy at down ends.

"Oh my god! Thank you so much Taemin-ah" you ran up to him and hugged him really tight. “You are such a life saver” you said with a relieved smile on your face.

"Okay that's enough, we don't have much time left" Taemin pulled away and looked up at the clock. He pulled you away as you nod at him, you snatched the wig away from him and ran to the bathroom to change.

Luckily SM and Woolim High finish at a different time.

You stood in front of the gate, waiting for the bell to go, the school felt different for some reason, but you just shrugged it, probably it was just your imagination or because you can't see any people outside.

"Kim Taeyeon, you are dead this time" you gritted your teeth in anger.
