“Hi sweetie, already sleeping?” Yunho asked on the phone. It’s almost midnight and yet he’s still in his office working..

“Not yet... still has research to do.... how about you? You sound tired”

“I am tired..... I have loads of work.... I need my energy bar and that would be you” He chuckled

“O... then I’m sending you tons of energy projectiles” she laughed... “Aren’t you going home yet? It’s almost midnight?”

“Hhmm... I’ll just finish this one then I’ll go” He said yawning

“Okay... don’t be too workaholic go home and rest”

“You too... don’t be too studios and go to sleep... staying up late is bad for your skin”

“And what do you know about skin care?” she laughed... She dropped something which seems to be a spoon or any utensils while laughing, Yunho heard the sound.

“what’s that?”  He asked... “don’t tell me you’re still eating at this hour?”

“Thinking too much can make people hungry”

“Really ha?” he laughed... “I’ll hung up now so I could finish this... you go to sleep now and stop eating okay?”

“Okay... drive safely... text me when you’re home...Goodnight”

“Goodnight! Dream happy dreams, dream about me” he chuckled then he hung up and continued what he’s doing.

“I will..” she answered

Yoona isn’t actually home doing her homework, she’s at Yunho’s place where he just moved in, she’s preparing to surprise him, it’s the eve of his birthday and he seemed to forget it since he’s really busy at work. Yoona decorated the living room with balloons and a birthday banner, she cooked pasta which she did for the first time.... She even prepared a song and dance number for him.

Yunho finally arrived home already past midnight, he’s so tired that all he’s thinking about is his bed. He entered the house which is all dark, he the light’s but didn’t notice all the balloons and decorations in the living room... He walked straight to his room and while walking a music suddenly played, it’s DBSK’s Hug... He froze, and slowly turn around and there’s Yoona standing in the living room with her pink cat costume.

She started singing the song which she has memorized, she improvised a hair brush as a mic... While singing, she walks towards Yunho who’s still in a state of shock and frozen in his place, she went to him, grab his hand and pulled him to sit on the couch...

“ Haruman nibangui chimdaega dwegoshipo” she sang then she turned the mic to Yunho and he responded with the “Oh baby” part.... Yoona continued her performance as if it’s her own concert. Yunho eventually recovered from shock and started enjoying Yoona’s performance, he kept on laughing especially on the part of the song with a cat in it where Yoona started acting cute imitating a cat and cuddled on his side, and right before she finished her performance

“Happy Birthday Oppa” she shouted on using her brush mic, Yunho gave her a standing ovation still laughing from her cuteness. She went up to him “Happy Birthday!” she giggled “Are you surprised?”

“I really am... how?.... did you prepare all of this? He said looking very overwhelmed. He never thought she could do something like that for him and it literally removed all of his stress, he gained his energy back as if he was never tired at all. “That was a great performance” he laughed

“I know.. I put a lot of effort on it... Omo... wait” She ran to the kitchen and went back with a cake on her hands with a heart shaped candle while singing the Happy Birthday song. Yunho blew the candle  and they both clapped their hands. He took the cake from Yoona and put it on the table, he moved closer to her put his hands on her face then suddenly pinched her cheeks

“You silly little cat! Who gave you the idea of doing this?” he said laughing still pinching her cheeks. “Ouch!” she exclaimed removing his hands. Yunho dropped his hands and kissed her on the forehead. “Now, let’s remove this first” he said helping Yoona take off her cat costume “where did you get this?” he said giggling

“I bought it” she answered as she take of the costume and placed it on the couch, Yunho wiped her sweat off and brushed of the hair that got into her face “Thank you sweetie” he whispered as he was fixing her hair.

“Well, It’s not over yet I have one more surprise” she said pulling him to the dining table, they sat and she served the pasta that she cooked.

“You made this?” he asked with wide eyes

“Yup... I cooked for the first time just for you so.. no matter how it tastes like you must be thankful okay?” she put some on Yunho’s plate and sat on the other side of the table.

“It will surely taste great” he said taking his fork.... When he’s about to put some of the pasta on his mouth, Yoona grabbed his hand and stopped him.. “Ah.. wae?” he looked at her.

“Wait... I’m really nervous... I don’t how it taste like.. can I taste it first?” she really do looks nervous. Yunho shrugged her hands off “Nope!” he said and hurriedly ate the pasta on his fork

“Yah!” she protested then she looked at his face while chewing the food. “How’s it?... It’s blunt right?” she asked. Yunho gave her a serious unreadable look, “aish!” she exclaimed, she took some and tried it herself

“Ofcourse it’s delicious” Yunho chuckled, poke her head and continued eating

After eating, Yoona requested Yunho to make them coffee, she loves the coffee that he makes, it’s the best coffee for her beating any other expensive coffees. They sat on the couch with their coffee, facing the glass wall and looking at the breath taking night view of the house.

“Thank you... This is the best birthday I ever had” He was looking at her with a serious endearing look, he’s really happy and contented, his heart is filled with love and joy that he feels complete just by having her on his side. He placed his hand on Yoona’s waist and pulled her closer to him. “And that’s the best pasta ever” he chuckled

“I’m glad I made you happy that’s all I ever wanted” she smiled and took a sip of her coffee “ahh... really Oppa what do you put on your coffee? Is there some kind of potion in it? Why does it always tastes this good?” she asked with her eyes wide open and a serious face as if she’s really wondering what’s the magic in that coffee is.

“Yah you’re exaggerating... and your face looks funny” he chuckled as he pinch her nose “there’s nothing special in there it’s just filled with love” he’s now looking at the outside view

“Eey.... and that’s filled with cheese” she said giggling.. Yunho looked at her and she held that look “But it’s true it’s just filled with my love for you” he said with a smile. Upon seeing that smile on his face a sudden urge got into Yoona, she can clearly see in his eyes how happy he is and how much he loves her, so she gave him a quick peck on the lips and hugged him

“Happy Birthday again!” she whispered in his ear

“Thank you! Having you is really the best blessing God has given me” he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck.
