Chapter 9

The weeks have passed and the Dream promotions continue. Jaemin's recovery is quick. He received lots of get-well messages from the company, members, and fans. His stalker was also kept secret since it does not determine if it has something to do with but a text message by the unknown number was received by his phone. 

It stated how the sender was upset when Jaemin had a drama offer. No one knows who leaked the information that even the members were clueless. The sender sends a bloody picture then called Jaemin multiple times. The company issued an investigation but they found nothing to this person who keeps terrorizing Jaemin. The police handle the issues. 

The two people who dragged Jaemin were sued by the company and Jaemin's mother. They received a sentence and were found guilty of attacking and attempted kidnapping. The poison issues didn't spread online since the investigation is still ongoing and the company gives strong percussion to it. No words were spread and the People who know the issue keep their mouths shut. 

Jaemin's mother was angry with the company and all of them involved in the incident. She wanted to sue them all. She also almost made Jaemin break the contract from the agency and she's willing to pay the damages just to get Jaemin out of the business. She doesn't want Jaemin to continue being an idol. It was chaos. 

The Dream members visited Jaemin in the hospital. They told him stories about their performances and mostly funny stories so that he was updated. Jeno was the one who always stayed with Jaemin. After his schedule, he went straight to the hospital. It doesn't matter what time but he diligently does it till Jaemin recovers. 

Jaemin's mother doesn't want Dream to visit Jaemin at first since she plans to make Jaemin resign from the group. It was hard but eventually, she saw that the Deamies were genuinely worried and cared for Jaemin. She did let them. 

The meeting with the company is messy. Since the company doesn't want them to stop the promotion. The members also wanted to continue but the fans are raging. The company hired more guards and announced apologetic statements. Sending it to the victim, their artist. They also apologized to fans and made sure to investigate throughout and they were being cautious to the safety of their artist. 

The company apologizes to Jaemin's mother personally. But Jaemin's Mom is cold as ice. She wants to revoke the contract even if she pays them for the damages. She's willing as long as she gets Jaemin out of the company. The meeting continues for two weeks. And In the final decisions, Jaemin will not leave the company but he will have a break to recover. It was decided by Jaemin himself. Her mother was in tears in a hospital staring at her son growing up and hurt but still wanted to continue. She loves Jaemin so much that she agreed with him.

The Dream was updated to the issue because of Mr. Seok and Mr. Kim. They tell them everything and make the group devastated after learning that Jaemin almost leaves the group. They continue to promote after a week and show pure professionalism. 

It's been two months since the incident. Jaemin changes his number and has a new phone. He went back to his hometown to recover from trauma. He never thought that he would get poisoned but now that he thinks of it, Jaemin ate this particular tteokboki... He's not sure though but maybe it was something to do with. 

Jaemin recovered quickly. He was with his grandmother and eating delicious food. Jaemin was not affected by the fact that he was poisoned but maybe because he was eating his grandmother's food. 

Time flies and Jaemin attends therapies for his trauma. Everything was done so that Jaemin got over it and came back healthy. 

The Dream becomes busy because of the busy schedules. They sometimes go to Jaemin's home to play but those moments are rare. They also stayed overnight and went home to their dorm. The dorm for NCT DREAM changes. They moved in the middle of their promotions for safety. Eventually, they all moved on.

Jaemin wakes up by the cold breeze that comes from his window. The fall season is almost done and winter is coming.

Jaemin rises from his bed. He yaws and gets his phone to the bedside table. He was looking forward to this week since Mr.Seok will get him to come to Seol. He's scheduled to go back. He heard that it was a new dorm. He hopes that the Dreams will welcome him. 

He let out a sigh.
